RAJOURI, JUNE 29:: The court of Adjudicating officer Rajouri (Additional District Development Commissioner Commissioner), Pawan Kumar imposed a fine of Rs 29000 on 07 erring food business operators for not following the prescribed norms under the Food Safety and Standard Act.
A team of officials constituted on the directions of DDC Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan inspected various outlets in the district wherein they found substandard services and consumables in the unhygienic condition being provided to the people. Consequently, the erring traders were booked and summoned before the ADDC who is also the Adjudicating officer, imposed fines under various sections of the Food Safety & Standard Act.
The FBOs have been warned to desist from such practices and follow all parameters, failing which the penalty will be doubled in the repeated offence.
It has been made clear that such sample testing of various consumables shall continue so that hygienic and pure edibles and products of the best quality remain available in the market for the public of District Rajouri.
