There is no provision of forceful conversion or forceful marriage in Islam: Hakim Suhail Abbas Kashmiri

Srinagar June 27 :– In a statement to different media groups Hakim Suhail Abbas Kashmiri has shown resentment over the abduction of two Sikh community Women and forcing them to get married unlawfully.

In Islam their is no provision of forceful conversion or forceful marriage,such act is prohibited (Haraam).The Islamic Jurisprudence don’t allow the forceful marriage even in it’s own faith, so no question arises of forceful marriage of interfaith. Forceful marriage or conversion is termed as null and void.

Hakim requested the law forcing agencies to book the abductors and all those involved in this crime under relevant sections of law so as to keep such criminals away from Society.
