3 health centers of Poonch qualified State Assessment for National Assessment.

RAJOURI/POONCH NOV 13:- In a significant development three health facilities of District Poonch have qualified the State Assessment criteria and shall be processed for National Certification.
“This achievement was made possible under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal and supervision of CMO, Dr Parvaiz Ahmed Khan, “said an official.
Three health facilities qualified the State Assessment criteria include Ayushmaan Arogya Mandirs (AAM) sub centers namely Kanyauan & Lower Dhara in Mandi health block and AAM Sooyian in Mendhar health block.
State Assessment of 3 facilities namely AAM Sooyian, AAM Kanuyian and AAM Lower Dhara of Poonch district was conducted by the team of assessors vide order No.179 of 19/10/2024, pursuant to which the team has submitted the report of State Assessment.
Official order by State Nodal Officer NHM J&K sent to CMO Poonch read: “It is appreciable that the above mentioned 3 facilities have qualified the State Assessment criteria and shall be proceeded for National Certification.
The in-charge of these health facilities have been directed to upload the documents of the facility on SaQsham Portal and fill the maximum possible gaps before the conduct of National Assessment.
CMO, Dr Parvaiz Ahmed said that this could become possible only with the active support of Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal who after joining at Poonch set some major targets to improve health facilities and infrastructure in the district.
“These three centers have qualified for National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) under the guidance of Vikas Kundal and we hope that these centers will also qualify the National Assessment” said CMO.
It is pertinent to mention here Dr Parvaiz Ahmed Khan is also a competent officer who recently took charge of in-charge CMO Poonch and since then he, on the direction of the DC, Vikas Kundal paying unscheduled night surprise visits to health centers across the district to assess the healthcare facilities and regularity and punctuality of staff
