3 days Painters’ meet under NMBA begins in Himalayan College Rajouri

RAJOURI, AUGUST 03:–As a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Himalayan Education Mission Rajouri in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA) organised three-day National Painter’s Camp under the banner of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA).
Three-day National Painter’s Camp was inaugurated on Thursday at Himalayan College campus Thandikassi (Rajouri) in which Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal, IAS was the Chief Guest while Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rajeev Kumar Khajuria presided over the function.
An artistic extravaganza aimed to harness the power of creativity to spread the message of a ‘Drug Free India’ & the talented painters from across the nation showcased their artwork and contributed towards this noble cause.
Vikas Kundal praised the efforts of the Himalayan Education Mission Rajouri and the Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts for organising such an impactful event.
He emphasised how art has the power to transcend boundaries and touch hearts and urged everyone to work towards creating a drug-free society.
In his speech, the ADC stressed the importance of collective action in the fight against drug abuse and highlighted the role of art in creating social awareness.
The National Painters Camp provided a platform for artists to showcase their talent and contribute to a noble cause.
The event was a powerful demonstration of the role of art in creating social change.
