CHENAB VALLEY AUGUST 18:-The Indian Army’s 26RR (KUMAON) Patnazi unit conducted a noteworthy outreach event today, distributing 49 solar lights and power banks to the Gujjar and Bakarwal communities in the picturesque Bunjwah region, which is renowned for its scenic landscapes and rich cultural heritage. This commendable initiative was spearheaded by COY Commender, the Officer Commanding of the 26RR COY Patnazi, alongside a dedicated team of officers who worked tirelessly to facilitate this event.

The distribution of solar lights and power banks is part of Operation Sadbhavna, an ongoing mission aimed at fostering goodwill and strengthening ties between the Indian Army and local communities. This initiative is particularly significant given the region’s limited access to electricity, showcasing the army’s commitment to improving the quality of life for residents. During the event, COY Commender took the opportunity to engage actively with community members, offering steadfast support and encouragement.
