RAJOURI FEB 03:-Ashfaq Choudhary, AEE Jal Shakti Department Kotranka, along with Chairman of Pani Simiti Gram Panchayat Kewal Lower, Farooq Inqlabi, JE Abdul Rehman, and other staff members, today visited the Kangota area of Gram Panchayat Kewal Lower to inspect the ongoing water supply projects under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) Scheme.
Accompanying the team were social activists Layaqat Choudhary, Yaseen Choudhary, Fazal Choudhary, Iqbal Choudhary, and Zaffer Naik, who actively participated in the inspection.
During the visit, the officers identified new sources of water and directed the contractors to expedite the work, ensuring the timely completion of the projects within the next 30 days. The ongoing works include the construction of eight water storage tanks, each with a capacity of 10,000 gallons, one lift system with a pump room, and the installation of four spring covers, all of which are integral to improving water supply in the Gram Panchayat.
Farooq Inqlabi, Chairman of Pani Simiti, extended his appreciation to the staff of the Jal Shakti Department Kotranka, acknowledging their hard work and commitment to implementing the JJM Scheme effectively.
This inspection marks a significant step towards enhancing the water supply infrastructure in the region and ensuring that the scheme meets its intended goals within the stipulated time frame.
