Rafiabad Youth Welfare Expresses Strong Concern Over Prolonged Power Outage and Road Blockages
GNS ONLINE NEWS PORTAL
SRINAGAR JANUARY 25:-Rafiabad Youth Welfare has expressed deep concern over the prolonged disruption of essential services in Rafiabad, where electricity supply and link road connectivity have remained disrupted for the past three days.
The organization recalled that even during the difficult circumstances of the 1990s, electricity and road connectivity were often restored within three days despite limited resources and challenging conditions. In contrast, during the LG administration, the system demonstrated efficiency and responsiveness, with power supply and road connectivity being restored within just 2 to 4 hours after disruptions.
Unfortunately, under the present National Conference government, three days have passed and the electricity supply has not been restored, nor have the link roads in Rafiabad been cleared, causing immense hardship to the general public, especially students, patients, elderly citizens, and daily wage earners.
Rafiabad Youth Welfare urges the concerned departments and the administration to take immediate and concrete steps to restore electricity and clear all link roads without any further delay. The people of Rafiabad deserve timely basic services, and continued negligence is unacceptable.
The organization appeals to the authorities to act responsibly and ensure that such lapses are not repeated in the future. -
