The event highlighted the significant role played by the Women’s Wing, which saw remarkable participation across the district.

    The 26th PDP Foundation Day marked a special occasion for the party, celebrating its longstanding commitment to public service and empowerment. Naima Sara’s leadership was instrumental in mobilizing women to actively participate, showcasing the strength and dedication of the party’s female members.     RAJOURI, AUGUST 04:-District Development Commissioner (DDC) Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma today chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of developmental activities under the Aspirational Block Programme (ABP) in Block Khawas. The meeting focused on the key performance indicators, overall progress, and strategies to improve the block’s delta ranking.

    During the meeting, the DDC conducted a comprehensive review of all ABP indicators, with a special emphasis on priority areas impacting the block’s developmental trajectory. He directed the Nodal Officers of both Khawas and Budhal Old to submit a detailed analysis report highlighting progress, gaps and strategies for improvement in each indicator.

    In view of the ongoing Sampoornata Abhiyan, the DDC instructed Self Help Groups (SHGs) to achieve 100% target saturation under the Abhiyan within the next six days. He also took stock of the status of the revolving fund provided to SHGs and urged concerned officials to ensure timely disbursement and proper utilization.

    The DDC impressed upon all departments to work in close coordination to achieve the saturation of key indicators and improve the quality of life in the Aspirational Block. He stressed the importance of grassroots-level planning, timely reporting and community participation to bring about meaningful change in Khawas.

    The meeting witnessed participation from key officials including ACP Sheraz Chouhan, ACD Auqil Naveed, CPO Maqsood Ahmed, DSEO Sandeep Kumar, Block Development Officer Khawas, along with other sectoral and district-level officers.

We were all strangers but we were all speaking the same language of love and brotherhood. She met a haji from North America he was concerned about the Russia Ukrain conflict another guy spoke about the killing of innocents in Gaza. They said in unison war can never be the answer to any problem. No one wins in war. At the end earth suffers – humanity suffers says Huda. She has gone for a short trip to Mecca and Madina and hope to convey the message of India love all. India today have a big role to play as the ambassador of peace.

    When asked about politicians who spit venom against a particular community she says there are fringe elements everywhere. She presently speaks for the Aam Admi Party and has offers from other political parties too but she says – I came here to get clarity. When I return back to India I will focus on my own work that is serving the society through social work. Media will definitely be a medium that will be used to connect to the masses says Huda.

    One thing which was very remarkable! She says I have so many non Muslim friends in India they are so kind and helpful, I trust them. They are a part of my family. India is beautiful and I have no desire to shift from India ever. Today here in Mecca I am praying for their success too.

    JAMMU AUGUST 04:-Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana has expressed profound grief and extended heartfelt condolences on the untimely demise of the daughter of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Udhampur, Mr. Amod Ashok Nagpure.

    In his condolence message, the Minister said, “I am deeply saddened to learn about the heartbreaking loss suffered by Mr. Amod Nagpure and his family. The passing of a young daughter is an unimaginable tragedy—one that creates a void no words can fill.”

    He further added, “My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family during this hour of immense pain and sorrow. I pray for eternal peace to the departed soul and for strength and courage to the family to endure this irreparable loss.”

    POONCH AUGUST 04:-The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Poonch Unit held a press conference under the leadership of Iqbal Mughal,Tanvir Kohli,Arif Khatana,Talib Chowdhary,Barket Hussain,Mohd Iqbal, Mohd Shafi,where they voiced urgent concerns regarding the establishment of a Government Medical College (GMC) in Poonch District.

    During the address, Mughal emphasized the pressing need for both the Central and State governments to expedite the process of sanctioning a GMC for Poonch. He stated, “If immediate action is not taken, we will be left with no option but to take to the roads in protest.”

    The necessity for a GMC has been highlighted in light of the recent India-Pakistan conflicts, during which many lives were tragically lost due to the lack of adequate medical facilities in the district.

    Additionally, the conference shed light on the distressing situation at the District Hospital in Poonch, where several women have lost their lives due to insufficient medical staff and inadequate infrastructure.

    Mughal asserted, “We, the Aam Aadmi Party, urge the government to address the healthcare crisis in our border district. The establishment of a GMC in Poonch is not just a request; it is a necessity for the safety and wellbeing of our community.”

    The AAP Unit remains committed to advocating for the health and welfare of the residents of Poonch District and will continue to press for critical medical infrastructure to prevent further loss of life.
