    JAMMU JUNE 27:-SHO Khour Neeraj Choudhary, along with Sub Inspector Vishal Thakur and Sub Inspector Imtiaz Malik, conducted a visit to Sajwal Indri Village today to assess the situation and raise awareness among residents about the rising water levels in the Chenab River. The Inspector urged residents to exercise caution and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety.

    During the visit, Inspector Choudhary interacted with residents, including Ex Panch Sham Singh, Ashok Kumar, Capt Onkar Singh, Makho Ram, Babu Ram, Subil Singh, Sagar Singh, Ravi Kumar, Avinash Kumar and others. He emphasized the importance of staying vigilant and prepared in the face of potential flooding. The Inspector also inspected the area and reviewed the measures being taken to mitigate the impact of the rising water levels.

    Convener, All India Panchayat Parishad, Puran Singh Manhas praised SHO Neeraj Choudhary’s efforts, “SHO Neeraj Choudhary is always concerned about the well-being of the people. In the past few days, he has been tirelessly working day and night among the residents of Indri village, taking proactive measures to ensure their safety. His dedication and commitment to public service are truly commendable.”

    The residents of Indri village expressed their gratitude to SHO Neeraj Choudhary for his selfless service and timely intervention. The SHO’s visit has brought a sense of reassurance among the residents, who are now better equipped to face the challenges posed by the rising water levels.

    RAJOURI, JUNE 27:-In a significant step towards inclusive governance, BJP District President Rajouri Dev Raj Sharma, undertook an extensive public outreach tour to the far-flung and hilly Panchayat of Upper Targian in Budhal Assembly Constituency.

    Traversing tough terrain and remote habitations, Sharma visited several underdeveloped hamlets including Kandra, Jalamang, and Sajan Hill. He interacted with local residents, Panchayat members, and grassroots stakeholders to understand their pressing issues—primarily poor road connectivity, erratic power supply, limited access to drinking water, and inadequate healthcare infrastructure.

    Demonstrating proactive leadership,  Sharma promptly raised the community’s concerns with relevant departmental authorities and urged swift resolution through coordinated action. He assured the villagers that their grievances would be addressed in a time-bound manner.

    While addressing the media, Dev Raj Sharma emphasized the BJP’s core agenda of “Seva, Sushasan aur Garib Kalyan.” He said,

    “No village is too remote and no citizen’s voice is too small to matter. The BJP is dedicated to reaching the last mile, ensuring every individual—especially in border and backward areas—feels heard, valued, and supported.”

    He reiterated the commitment to fulfill Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of inclusive development and transparent governance, particularly in marginalized regions like Budhal.

    The visit was warmly welcomed by the locals, who expressed optimism that such direct engagement by political leadership would translate into tangible improvements on the ground.

    Legal Notice Seeking RS.5 Crore Compensation Each Served  ZEE News & News18 India 

    POONCH JUNE 27:-The family members of Qari Mohd Iqbal, a teacher who died on May 07, 2025 during cross border Pak Shelling at Poonch have served a legal notice upon Zee News (A unit of Zee Media Corporation Ltd) and News 18 India( A unit of Network 18 Group) seeking damages /compensation to the tune of Rupees 05 Crore each for airing/broadcasting a false, highly misleading and slanderous news item pertaining to Qari Mohd Iqbal S/o Peer Baksh R/o Baila, Tehsil Mandi, District Poonch who died on 07/05/2025 at District Hospital Poonch because of Pakistan’s Shelling but the two leading News Channels of the country maliciously labelled the deceased as a hardcore Terrorist associated with Lashkar-e-Toiba/Hizbul Mujahideen and further claimed that the deceased Teacher was on the most wanted hit-list of NIA and was killed by Indian Forces in a Terrorist Camp at Kotli(POK).

    The News Channels also claimed that the deceased Qari Mohd Iqbal had played a pivotal role in the Pulwama Terrorist Attack and Indian Forces were in search of this ‘Khoon khaar Commander’.

    In the legal notice served through S S Ahmed & Associates Advocates, it has been alleged that the damage caused by the misleading/malicious reporting to the deceased and his family members is irreparable and is a classic example of Yellow/unethical Journalism and the said News items also exhibited the high level of carelessness, gross misconduct and lack of responsibility on the part of the two Channels as despite government advisories/Press Council of India guidelines and norms of journalistic ethics, the story of War like situation was carried out without verifying its contents from genuine Government sources and an innocent teacher was dubbed as a “dreaded terrorist” aligned to outlawed terrorist organisations and the damage which is irreparable can only be indemnified by paying exemplary damages quantified as Rupees 05 Crore each to the family members of the deceased teacher as no apology of any kind can repair the damage caused to the reputation of the deceased and his family members. A period of 03 weeks has been given to the Management of the two Channels to do the needful.
