Govt School Turns into Junkyard as Lockdown by Land Donor Continues for 10 Years Farooq Inqlabi Slams Education Department

    GNS ONLINE NEWS PORTAL

RAJOURI JUNE 04:– Kotranka, Trun Kewal Zone – In a shocking revelation, the Government Primary School in Trun, Kewal Zone (Kotranka) has been illegally locked by the original land donor for the past ten years, effectively depriving local children of their fundamental right to education. The premises, once meant to shape the future of young minds, has reportedly turned into a junk and scrap store due to long-standing negligence and inaction by the concerned authorities.

Senior PDP leader Farooq Inqlabi has strongly condemned the education department’s failure to resolve the issue. “Despite repeated requests and representations to the officers, no concrete action has been taken. The department has turned a blind eye to the plight of these students,” he said, while addressing the local media.

He further stated that the matter seems to revolve around a petty dispute concerning the appointment of a cook – a responsibility that squarely falls on the shoulders of education department officials. “This is not just incompetence, it’s a betrayal of the students and their parents,” he added.

Inqlabi warned that if the school is not reopened immediately, the parents, along with community members, will be forced to break the lock and reclaim the building for educational purposes. “This school belongs to the children, not to any individual’s ego or administrative apathy,” he asserted.

The continued closure of the school has raised serious concerns about governance and accountability in the education sector in rural areas.
