    RAJOURI JAN 05:-The clinical establishments operating across Rajouri district without valid license will face strict legal action if they do not get registered soon.
    This was said by Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Rajouri, Dr M.L. Rana in a notice published in the newspaper(s).
    The action came following frequent complaints from people from across the district alleging that many unregistered clinical establishments are operating without valid licenses.
    The Chief Medical Officer in the notice advised the owners/properties of clinical establishments operating without licences to get their establishments registered under The Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act,2010 (CERR).
    “Any delay/failure on the part of proprietor/owner shall be liable for appropriate action” CMO’s notice read.
    CMO in the notice said that action for running a clinical establishment without proper registration shall be a penalty of Rs 50,000 (first offence); Rs 2,00,000/- (second offence), & Rs 5 lakh (subsequent offence).
    CMO further said that the penalty for contravention of any other provision of the Act shall be Rs 10,000 (first offence); Rs 50,000 (second offence), and Rs 5 lakh (subsequent offence).
    Notice further read that any person (she/he) knowingly serves in an unregistered clinical establishment shall be fined Rs 25,000/- (first offence).
    CMO has also directed the proprietors/owners not to operate clinical establishments/centers if they are not registered with the appropriate authority.
    The Union Government on 28th February 2012 has notified the ‘Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2010’.
    The Act provides for mandatory registration of all clinical establishments, including diagnostic centres and single doctor clinics across all recognised systems of medicine both in the public and private sector except those run by the Defence forces.

    SRINAGAR JAN 05:-In a heartbreaking incident, a fire has engulfed the home of Aijaz Ahmad Sheikh, son of Mohd Akbar Sheikh, in Charhad Magam, Handwara, Kupwara. The blaze left the family devastated and in dire need of assistance.

    Sheikh Tahira, the District President of Mahila Congress Kupwara, was quick to respond to the tragedy, visiting the site to assess the damage firsthand. “It’s truly disheartening to see a family in such distress,” she remarked during her visit. “Aijaz is a very poor man, and he needs our help now more than ever. I urge the district administration to step in and provide all basic facilities to support this family in their time of need.”

    The community is rallying together, emphasizing the importance of immediate action to ensure that Aijaz and his family receive the necessary aid. As they navigate this difficult situation, the call for assistance highlights the power of solidarity in times of crisis.

    RAJOURI JAN 05:-Rajouri Police has taken stringent action against illegal mining activities in the district. Several vehicles and JCB Excavator were seized during the operation, and penalties were imposed on violators as per legal provisions.

    A JCB excavator (Model 215) was seized for illegal mining, and a fine of Rs. 1,32,600/- was imposed.

    Additionally, the following vehicles were seized for their involvement in illegal mining:

    1. Tractor Registration No. JK11F-7823 driven by Asif Aijaz 2. Vehicle Registration No. JK11G-7435 driven by Tariq Hussain 3. Vehicle Registration No. JK20C-2144 driven by Harman Sharma.

    Rajouri Police remains committed to safeguarding natural resources and warns individuals against engaging in such illegal activities. Operations to identify and take action against violators will continue in the interest of environmental protection.

    Citizens are urged to report any illegal mining activities to the police, ensuring collective efforts toward preserving the resources.

    RAJOURI, JAN 05: To take review of the progress achieved under the District Capex Budget 2024-25 and the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), District Development Commissioner (DDC) Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma convened a virtual meeting with district officers, here today.

    *The DDC emphasized the need to expedite the financial and physical progress of ongoing projects to ensure their timely completion. He directed officers to identify and address bottlenecks hampering the implementation of developmental works under both District Capex Budget and HADP.*

    *Highlighting the need for uninterrupted services during the winter season, the DDC issued specific directions to ensure a steady electricity supply in all areas. He also instructed the concerned departments to promptly clear snow in the DKG and Kotranka regions to minimize inconvenience to the public.*

    The DDC further urged all officers to maintain a close watch on field-level implementation and stressed the importance of coordinated efforts to achieve set targets.

    The meeting concluded with the DDC reiterating the district administration’s commitment to delivering quality services and implementing key projects that align with the aspirations of the people.

    SUNDERBANI,JAN 05: Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, today conducted a surprise inspection of Sub District Hospital Sunderbani, and assessed the status of healthcare services being extended to the patients in the institute.

    He emphasised the importance of quality healthcare and patient satisfaction while asking the medicos and paramedics to perform their duty with utmost care and concern.

    During the visit, the Deputy Chief Minister toured various wards of the hospital and interacted with the patients seeking their feedback on healthcare facilities there. He assured them of the government’s commitment towards further enhancing healthcare services and addressing their needs effectively.

    Expressing displeasure over the sanitation conditions in the hospital, the Deputy Chief Minister directed the Block Medical Officer (BMO) to take immediate measures to ensure cleanliness in all areas of the facility. “Cleanliness is a basic requirement and must be prioritized to create a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff alike,” he stated.

    The Deputy Chief Minister also instructed the hospital authorities to ensure proper treatment for patients and maintain high standards of hygiene.

    While reviewing the progress on the ongoing construction work at the hospital, Surinder Choudhary set a clear deadline for its completion. He directed the concerned authorities to complete all construction works by or before 31st March 2025, ensuring that the upgraded infrastructure is made available to the public without delay.
