    RAJOURI DEC 30:-Tightening it’s noose against violators involved in illegal and unscientific mining, police in Budhal has seized a vehicle carrying mining material.

    A team of police station Budhal intercepted at Tipper JK11D 9141 that was carrying mining material illegally.

    The vehicle has been seized and necessary legal proceedings have been taken up.

    The vehicle was driven by Mohammad Kabir son of Mohammad Iqbal resident of Bagla Nadyala Rajouri

    DDC chairperson believes large number of posts in different departments especially Health, RDD, PHE , PDD are lying vacant in poonch district causing very slow implementation of various flagship programmes of government. In this concern kindly direct the concerns for filling up of vacant posts

    Mughal Road Tunnel is long pending demand ,A Genuine demand Hence govt should intervene into this matter and resolved it at the earliest.

    She also discussed about the daily wagers Issues of Jal Shakti / (PHE ), PDD /JKPDCL , PWD(R&B ) Education departments and requested LG Manoj Sinha Sir to form requisite committees and take up matter so as Justice can be served to the deserving employees.

    RAJOURI, DEC 30: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma today visited Children Home Pareesha to assess the facilities provided to the inmates residing there and ensure their well-being. During the visit, he interacted with the children, inquired about their needs, and inspected the arrangements in place, particularly for the winter season.

    The DC toured the premises of the Pareesha and reviewed the quality of basic amenities, including accommodation, food, health care, and education. He engaged in an interactive session with the children, listened to their concerns, and encouraged them to focus on their studies and extracurricular activities for holistic development.

    In light of the harsh winter conditions, the Deputy Commissioner closely examined the arrangements to ensure the comfort and safety of the children. He directed the concerned officials to prioritize the availability of adequate heating facilities, sufficient bedding, and warm clothing. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of regular health check-ups and nutritious meals to maintain the overall well-being of the children during the winter months.

    The DC also reviewed the safety measures in place and instructed the Social Welfare Department to conduct regular inspections to address any shortcomings promptly. He assured the children and staff of the administration’s full support in ensuring their needs are met.

    RAJOURI, DEC 30: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma today chaired a crucial meeting in his office chamber to discuss measures for improving child healthcare, especially in remote and far-flung areas of the district including habitations near the Line of Control (LoC).

    *Emphasizing the importance of a coordinated approach, the DC directed the Anganwadi Workers, teachers and ASHA workers to work in tandem at village level. “If any child is found unwell in the school, the teacher must immediately communicate the matter to the concerned ASHA worker, who will further escalate it to the ASHA Coordinator. This system will ensure timely intervention and care for children in need, he added.*

    To strengthen the healthcare efforts, the DC asked the stakeholder departments to provide first aid kits to schools with thermometers and ORS packets. These essential supplies will enable frontline workers to respond promptly and effectively to common health issues.

    The Deputy Commissioner particularly emphasized the identification and care of children suffering from the “4 D’s” under RBSK program. He instructed the Health, ICDS and Education Department to collaborate closely to ensure that such cases are addressed on priority, with a special focus on snowbound and areas near the LoC

    The meeting was attended by Chief Education Officer Bishamber Dass and representatives from the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM).

    The IIA J&K Chapter has been playing a major role in promoting the architectural profession in the Union territory by bringing the architects and allied business houses dealing with the construction industry on one platform. The chapter has been organising various activities like Building material exhibitions, symbiosis, conferences, etc. in order to increase the awareness about the profession amongst the common masses. The Union territory of Jammu & Kashmir has a functioning Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) J&K Chapter comprising of dedicated team having Ar. Vikas Dubey – Chairman, Ar. Vishal Abrol – Vice Chairman,

    RAJOURI DEC 30:-Rajouri district of UT of J&K has delivered an impressive performance under the Aspirational Block Development Programme (ABDP) conducted by NITI Aayog.

    In the overall rankings released by NITI Aayog, Khawas development block secured the 5th rank out of 500 blocks in India under the supervision of District Development Commissioner (DDC) Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, IAS.
    Recently, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri convened a high-level meeting in the Conference Hall of the DC Office to review the implementation and progress of the Aspirational Block Development Programme (ABDP) and Aspirational
    Panchayat Development Programme (APDP) in Khawas and Budhal Old blocks.

    Pertinently Block Khawas and Budhal Old Block are two blocks among 44 Blocks of J&K selected aiming for expeditious improvement in the socio–economic status of the selected blocks (most backward blocks) in consultation with NITI Aayog, Government of India.
    A post of District Information Officer (DIO) Rajouri (Information and PR, Rajouri) on social media platform X read: “Champions of Change. Proud moment for Rajouri! Block Khawas has risen from rank 453 to an impressive 5th out of 500 blocks in India under the supervision of DC Abhishek Sharma”.
    Delta rankings are issued quarterly based on 40 selected indicators in both overall and zone-wise categories.
    Notably, NITI Aayog has appreciated Uttar Pradesh for the consistent progress of its aspirational development blocks.

    It has divided 500 development blocks across the country into six zones—Hilly, North-East and Islands, Northern, Southern, Western, Central, and Eastern.
