CHENAB VALLEY OCT 15:-In the political history of Jammu and Kashmir since Independence, there has been only one legislative member, Mehraj Din Malik, who was chosen by the people of the 52-Doda constituency of the Doda district to bring a change in the political system and curb dynastic rule in the Doda constituency. His name and fame came into existence from his school and college days while raising issues related to better education and others.

Hailing from a small hamlet, Tandela, in the Jhakyas Bhalessa area, Mehraj Malik started his movement after joining the Delhi-based Political Party, Aam Aadmi Party, represented by Arvind Kejriwal. As soon as Mehraj Malik joined the Aam Aadmi Party in 2013 and contested the General Elections for the Legislative Assembly 2014 on Aam Aadmi Party mandate to bring a change in Jammu and Kashmir as on the pattern of Change in Delhi wherein Mehraj Malik, got only below 400 votes.

To raise public issues, Mehraj Malik continues his work for the betterment of society, with the slogan “Inqalabo Inqalab Inqalab Zindabad Zindabad Zindabad” resulting in his thumping victory in the DDC Election 2020 from Kahara Jhakyas constituency with a huge margin of more than 4000 votes.

After all, Mehraj Malik’s voice became a ray of hope among all citizens by standing with a downtrodden society which resulted from a common slogan by children of the society “Maja Maja Raj Karega”.

It was the first time in history that people sacrificed for a politician to contest an assembly election and to represent our social and developmental issues in the Assembly to ease our difficulties faced in daily routine.

Mehraj Malik created history in society that honestly always wins as he alone led the front from 2014 and achieved it by 2024 when thousands of people joined his movement, commonly known as Inqilab. Added that I faced very hardship during these days as no one was ready to stand with me, I continued to work for the betterment of the society which results from today’s history, Mehraj added during his speech.

Meanwhile, Arvind Kejriwal during his address recalled that the Aam Aadmi Party is not only a party but a name for changing of mind for better education, health, roads, electricity, water, and other things that require a common man during his daily life and routine work.

Jammu Doctors Forum & Jammu doctors association condemn Arvind Kejriwal statement against male gynecologist

    GNS ONLINE NEWS PORTAL

JAMMU OCT 15:-Jammu Doctors Forum (JDF) terms as illogical and absurd statement of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and former Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal at Doda wherein he has stated that “Male gynaecologists provide services to women” in Doda district. His statement has created quite an unrest in the society and is against the medical principles and ethics. This has also questioned the credentials of doctors practising genecology which needs to be rectified.

The medical profession is inherently gender-neutral, prioritizing skill, expertise, and patient care above all else. Arvind Kejriwal’s remarks in Doda, Jammu, targeting male gynaecologists, not only challenge this core principle but also perpetuate gender bias in a field where competence should be the only focus. Both male and female gynaecologists are highly trained professionals committed to women’s health, and comments like these foster needless divisions in a profession dedicated to healing and service, not gender distinctions.

Jammu and Kashmir is already having shortage of doctors and those working in far off places like Doda and Bhaderwah are performing their duties in adverse conditions and catering to the needs of people including women who are our sisters and daughters. Kejriwal statement has create furore amongst women patients as if male doctors are aliens and don’t adhere to their ethics. This has divided society and created an unrest. Kejriwal is a learned person who known the adverse effects of such statements.

We seek his unconditional apology for misguiding masses, misleading them and defaming the noble profession of doctors who are working hard to provide best medial services in India. Kejriwal must know that a number of best genealogists in India are male who are performing their duties at par with their female colleagues ably and catering to the people since several decades and no one has ever questioned their integrity.
Kejriwal must also know that Sushruta who is considered the Father of Indian Medicine was also male and like that Sage Agastya, Caraka and Vagbhata, Atreya and Agnivesa besides Atreya were all known for their capabilities in Indian medicine field and they were all male. Well known male gynecologists of jammu region who are serving the society for generations like Dr.Ajay wakhloo, Dr.Kasturi lal, Dr.Sunil chowdhary, Dr.Anil mehta, Dr.Yudhishter vir gupta, Dr.Vinay menia, Dr.Arun arora and Dr.R.C.Sharma are famous names in jammu and kashmir. Their dedication, commitment experience expertise and excellence is unquestioned.

We condemn the statement of Arwind Kejriwal and seek an unconditional apology from him or else we appeal to the people of Doda and other areas to see the nefarious designs in his statement that’s aimed at dividing society on the gender basis.
