Delhi court to pass order on MP Engineer Rashid’s bail plea on September 11

    GNS ONLINE NEWS PORTAL

NEW DELHI SEPT,04:–A Delhi court on Wednesday deferred till September 11 its order on the regular bail plea of Lok Sabha MP Engineer Rashid, who is in jail in connection with a terror-funding case.

Sheikh Abdul Rashid, also known as Engineer Rashid, defeated former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister and National Conference leader Omar Abdullah in the Lok Sabha polls held earlier this year from Baramulla.

Additional Sessions Judge Chander Jit Singh, who was scheduled to pass the order on Rashid’s bail plea on Wednesday, posted the matter for the next date, saying the order was not ready.

The court had heard the arguments on the application during an in-camera (not open to the public) hearing on August 28 and reserved its order.

The judge had, on August 20, issued a notice to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and directed it to file its response on Rashid’s plea by August 28.

On July 5, the court had granted Rashid custody parole to take the oath of office after he emerged victorious in the Lok Sabha poll contest.

Rashid has been in jail since 2019 after he was arrested by the NIA under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act in the 2017 terror-funding case.

Rashid is lodged in Delhi’s Tihar Jail.

His name cropped up during the investigation of Kashmiri businessman Zahoor Watali, who was arrested by the NIA for allegedly funding terror groups and separatists in Kashmir.

The NIA had filed a chargesheet against several people, including Kashmiri separatist leader Yasin Malik, Lashkar-e-Taiba founder Hafiz Saeed and Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin, in the case.

Malik was sentenced to life imprisonment by a trial court in 2022 after he pleaded guilty to the charges.–(PTI)

  • Thousands Of Kashmiri Pandits  Missing From Voters Lists ; Unveiling Of A Big Conspiracy To Deprive  Community Of Voting Rights, Is A Big Scandal:Dilip Pandita

    GNS ONLINE NEWS PORTAL

    BY ASHOK RAINA

JAMMU SEPT, 04:– You will not only be surprised to hear this report but you will not be sure about the Kashmiri Pandits, how the  minority community in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, are having to see and suffer on a new and every day.

In the Sovereign Secular democratic republic country, Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas, political leaders do not get tired of drumming slogans and even how they sing and dance to false tunes is nothing short of drama. If the world is truly informed about the truth the time is not far when political leaders will stop going there. Says Dilip Pandita

If we talk about the Election Commission of India, often before the election, the election list is completed and prepared with a new order, but how the Kashmiri Pandit voters are treated and treated is quite disappointing, and sad. . The large number of kashmiri pandit voters missing and absent from the voter lists is a matter of grave concern and are  thus not applicable  to cast their votes  in the coming state assembly to be held recently .

After the Parliament elections, the state elections have started and as the first phase of the elections is approaching, the Election Commission has released the voter list, but there are numerous errors in all the lists, which are not only incomplete but also completely inaccurate. about the minority community of the state.

Sources have confirmed and said that thousands of Kashmiri Pandit families are receiving reports of their disappearance from the voter lists. If there are 4 voters in a family, then in fact only 2 votes have been included in the election list, while the Election Commission has officially released the apex numbers of many voters, but why they are missing from their respective voter lists at present needs to high level probe before the elections is going to be held in the state.,

It is true that currently thousands of Kashmiri Pandits have gone missing from their respective voter lists, and there is a dire need to investigate. Dilip Pandita, said “

An independent candidate, who participated in the former parliament elections is also in race from Anantnag East constituency, has appealed to the Election Commission of India to intervene and made the proper  investigation  in  this very sanative matter

While told to our press on cell one Mr. Pandita said  that the ECI should seriously consider the matter seriously as to why thousands of Kashmiri Pandit voters have been missing from their respective voter lists. He further added that this matter is a big scandal and a big conspiracy has been hatched to deprive the large number of community members from the   right to voting. Is highly we condemns and criticizing the  act of answerable authorities responsible for this take steps

It is pertinent to mention here that after being displaced from their ancestral home the authorities in power have canceled the status of permanent citizenship of the minority families and issued them as temporary ration cards from last more than 34 years  and each family has been deprived of all basic facilities and fundamental rights by adopting an attitude of unfair discrimination and step motherly treatment.

It is really a place of sadness and sorrow to realize what happens with the minority community in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

I know that the responsible system is the only one that after giving the second class status of citizenship with temporary residence rights, the political owners have written what theory with keeping an eye on this minority group is not only reprehensible but also very shameful as well as depressing and cheerless “Dalip pandita said.

If history is explored, the image of the Kashmiri Pandit nation is quite educated and peace-loving. Even today, it is clearly reflected in the concept building, but the unfortunate situation is that what is happening with our community in our sovereign secular democratic republic country needs to remain in alarming situations to be checked.

In general, common people say that now the world has changed and we are close to building nests on the moon and Mars, but why do the Kashmiri Pandits still have to stumble every step of the way in India, a country called secular democratic union? As such unveiling of a big conspiracy to deprive the community of voting rights is a big scandal that needs to be given proper attention and proper enquiry.
