    RAJOURI, AUGUST 07:– First batch of 687 pilgrims of Shri Budha Amarnath Ji Yatra was today received at Yatra station Rajouri by Deputy Commissioner, Om Prakash Bhagat. The Deputy Commissioner, Om Prakash Bhagat & SSP Rajouri Randeep Kumar also welcomed them at Sunderbani Yatra station and accompanied the first batch to Rajouri base camp. The pilgrims included 587 males, 96 females, 03 children and 01 Saint. Attal Peethadeshwar Shri Shri 1008 Swami Vishwatma Nand Sarswati Ji Maharaj was also present during the event. The Deputy Commissioner also took stock of different facilities put in place for the brief stay of the pilgrims at the yatra station including drinking water, power supply, toilet facilities, langer, facilities sanitation, medicare, security etc. He asked the concerned officers to make all possible efforts so that the yatris don’t feel any inconvenience during their journey.

    Officers of the district who remained present on the occasion were; Senior Superintendent of Police Rajouri, Randeep Kumar; ADC Rajouri, Rajiv Kumar Khajuria; ASP, Musadiq Majid Basu; EXEN PWD(R&B) Rajouri, Sardar Khan; EXEN PDD Rajouri, Mohd Rashid; Tehsildar Rajouri, Varinder Sharma; DySP and other concerned officers. Members of the Yatra Nyas Samiti including Kewal Sharma (District President VHP); Gourav Mahajan (District General Secretary); Sahil Pandit (Distt President Bajrangdal) Deepak Sapotra(Cashier); Anil Verma; Sangeet Gandotra; Sahil Bajrangi; Sanjeev Kumar and Amit Sethi were also present on the occasion.

    The match featured the talented young players from the Rahul Dravid Cricket Club facing off against the Ehsas Cricket Club.

    In a display of excellent sportsmanship and skill, the Rahul Dravid Cricket Club emerged victorious with a significant lead, showcasing their dedication and prowess on the field.

    Distinguished guests in attendance at this exciting event included the ETO of Excise Department Poonch-Rajouri, Inspector Arif from Excise Department Poonch, as well as other respected figures such as Molvi Freed Shb, Mr. Imtiaz Salaria Shb, and Parvaiz Malik Afridi from the management of RDCC.

    RAJOURI AUGUST 07:–The continuous rain for the last two days has now started causing havoc due to which common people are suffering heavy losses. On Wednesday morning, a woman died due to the collapse of a kutcha house in Gunda village of sub-Khawas tehsil, while three cattle also died after being buried under the debris. Along with this, the movement of vehicles has come to a halt due to heavy landslide on the road from Thanna Mandi to Shahdara, while the movement of vehicles has been stopped due to landslide on the road from Dera Gali to Poonch. Due to continuous rain, the water level of rivers and streams has started increasing, in view of which the administration has advised people to stay away from rivers and streams.

    According to the information, the kutcha house of Sarnu Ram was damaged in Gunda village of Khawas tehsil around four o’clock on Wednesday morning. Due to being buried under the debris, Kako Devi aged sixty years died on the spot while three cattle were also killed by being buried under the debris. At the same time, people from the vicinity reached the spot and pulled out other members of the family buried under the debris, who are completely safe. Due to being buried under the debris, the goods kept inside the house were also completely destroyed. Due to which the family has suffered a lot.

    At the same time, due to heavy rains, a landslide occurred on the road from Thanna Mandi to Shahdara Sharif in the afternoon, due to which the movement of vehicles on the road has completely stopped. The work of removing the debris has been started to restore the movement of vehicles, but it may take some more time to completely remove the debris. Only after which the movement of vehicles will be restored in the area.

    At the same time, the road from Dairy Gali to Poonch has also been completely closed due to heavy landslides. Due to heavy rains in the area, the work of removing the debris has not started yet. Due to which people living in the area are facing many problems.

    Due to continuous rain, the water level of rivers and streams has also increased a lot and in view of the rising water level, the administration has advised people to stay away from rivers and streams so that any kind of damage can be avoided.

    MAHORE AUGUST 07:–Sr. PDP Leader Mohammad Farooq Inqlabi has urged the LG administration to release compensation for the victims of natural calamities in the far flung areas of Mahore sub Division in Reasi District. He also demanded waiver KCC loans taken by the farmers.

    Farooq Inqlabi said that with incessant rain lashing across the sub division Mahore, the water level in rivers has increased drastically, inundating low-lying areas. Further, landslides have been reported in various parts of the Mahore, Gulabgarh, Chasana, Tuli Bana, Sanglikote, Mamankote and Sungri. Floods have inundated farmlands, and farmers have incurred huge losses. Public properties have been damaged in rain-related incidents,” he said, urging the govt to pay compensation to the victims. He said that people of this far flung and hilly area are suffering badly due to heavy rain because in various areas houses have been partially damaged due to the rains, he said, demanding compensation for families to build new houses. “The government should release funds for the construction of houses for those who have lost them immediately. Compensation should be paid to farmers for crop loss. As rivers and Nallahs are in spate farmers have lost crops due to the floods,” he said, demanding immediate relief for farmers.

    He added that District Development Commissioner Reasi Vishesh Pal Mahajan should convene a meeting of officials immediately to accelerate relief and rehabilitation programmes in the Mahore Sub Division of Reasi District.

    مہور اگست ۰۷: پی ڈی پی کے سینئر لیڈر محمد فاروق انقلابی نے ایل جی انتظامیہ پر زور دیا ہے کہ وہ ضلع ریاسی میں مہور سب ڈویژن کے دور دراز علاقوں میں قدرتی آفات کے متاثرین کے لیے معاوضہ جاری کرے اور جن کسانوں نے کے۔سی۔سی قرض لیا ہے ان کا قرض فوری طور معاف کیا جاٸے۔
    فاروق انقلابی نے کہا کہ سب ڈویزن مہور میں وقفے وقفے سے ہونے والی بارش سے ندی نالوں میں پانی کی سطح بہت زیادہ بڑھ گئی ہے جس سے نشیبی علاقے زیر آب آ گئے ہیں۔ مزید یہ کہ مہور، گلاب گڑھ، چسانہ، طولی بنہ، سنگلی کوٹ ممنکوٹ، کنڈردھان، بدر، لار اور سنگڑی کے مختلف علاقوں میں لینڈ سلائیڈنگ کی اطلاع بھ ملی ہے۔ سیلاب سے کھیتوں کی زمینیں ڈوب گئی ہیں، اور کسانوں کو بھاری نقصان اٹھانا پڑا ہے۔ بارش سے متعلقہ واقعات میں عوامی املاک کو نقصان پہنچا ہے،” انہوں نے حکومت سے متاثرین کو معاوضہ ادا کرنے پر زور دیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اس دور دراز اور پہاڑی علاقے کے لوگ شدید بارش کی وجہ سے بری طرح متاثر ہو رہے ہیں کیونکہ مختلف علاقوں میں بارشوں کی وجہ سے مکانات کو جزوی نقصان پہنچا ہے، انہوں نے خاندانوں کو نئے مکانات کی تعمیر کے لیے معاوضے کا مطالبہ کیا۔ “حکومت کو چاہیے کہ وہ ان لوگوں کے لیے مکانات کی تعمیر کے لیے فنڈز جاری کرے جو انھیں کھو چکے ہیں۔ فصلوں کے نقصان کا معاوضہ کسانوں کو دیا جائے۔ چونکہ ندیاں اور نالے تیز ہیں سیلاب کی وجہ سے کسانوں کی فصلیں ضائع ہو گئی ہیں،‘‘ انہوں نے کسانوں کے لیے فوری امداد کا مطالبہ کرتے ہوئے کہا کے کسان اس وقت اپنی تباہ ہوتی فصلوں کو دیکھ کر بہت پریشان ہیں۔
    انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ ضلع ترقیاتی کمشنر ریاسی ویشیش پال مہاجن کو فوری طور پر عہدیداروں کی میٹنگ طلب کرنی چاہئے تاکہ ریاسی ضلع کے مہور سب ڈویژن میں راحت اور بازآبادکاری کے پروگراموں کو تیز کیا جاسکے۔
