President Pirpanchal Unit AIBCU, Rejects Government-Framed OBCs Commission

    GNS ONLINE NEWS PORTAL

RAJOURI JULY 31:--Jammu and Kashmir  The Pirpanchal Unit of the All India Backward Classes Union (Registered), under the leadership of President Shiri Mohd Manir Mughal, unequivocally rejects the Commission formed by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir vide Order No. 13620-JK (LD) of 2024 dated 30.07.2024. The inclusion of a Chairman and members from castes other than OBCs is a blatant violation of our demands and a profound betrayal of our trust.

After thorough deliberations, the Union emphasizes that any Commission with non-OBC Chairman and members is unacceptable. The Government’s decision to ignore our categorical stance undermines the rights and aspirations of OBCs, disregarding their entitlement to reservations and various welfare schemes as prescribed by the Constitution and Supreme Court directives.

This Commission, in its current form, is a mockery of the OBCs’ struggles and future generations. It stands as a barrier to the benefits that should be rightfully accessible to our communities. The Union firmly demands that the Chairman and all members of the Commission be appointed exclusively from OBC communities. This step is crucial to ensure that our voices are genuinely heard and our welfare is prioritized.

We call upon the Government to reconsider its decision and to establish a Commission that truly represents the interests and rights of the OBCs. Our demand is simple yet fundamental: a Commission that is truly reflective of our community’s needs and aspirations.
