    RAJOURI, JULY 09 :— Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Om Prakash Bhagat today chaired a comprehensive meeting with concerned officers to discuss the progress of Data Collection Format (DCF) for Panchayat Development Index (PDI) with Line Departments.

    The Panchayat Development Index (PDI) is a vital tool that measures the performance of panchayats as per Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)targets. It provides a holistic and evidence-based assessment of the development status of panchayats, highlighting their strengths and weaknesses. The PDI evaluates the performance of panchayats based on various developmental parameters from 9 department like; education, health, Agriculture, JJM,RDD, Revenue, Police, ICDS and FCS&CA.

    The meeting discussed the indicators of Panchayat Development Index (PDI) in detail, which evaluate the performance of panchayats based on various development parameters. The DC stressed the importance of early removal of bottlenecks and emphasized close coordination among departments to ensure timely updation of all indicators on the PDI portal of the district after proper validation of the data of line departments.

    RAJOURI, JULY 09: — The Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Om Prakash Bhagat today held a meeting to review the arrangements for Shri Baba Budha Amarnath ji Yatra.

    During the meeting, the DDC emphasized on the role and responsibilities of various officers in ensuring smooth and successful pilgrimage. He gave instructions to them regarding the arrangements that need to be made regarding smooth conduct of Budha Amarnath ji Yatra.

    The DC stressed the need for proper security arrangements, adequate medical facilities, traffic management and other essential services to be provided to the pilgrims. The officers were also directed to put all necessary arrangements in place well in advance. The DDC directed them to work diligently and leave no stone unturned in their efforts to make the yatra successfull and memorable experience for everyone who embarks on this spiritual journey.

    Shri Baba Budha Amarnath ji Yatra is a highly revered pilgrimage that draws devotees from all over the country. The review of the arrangements for the yatra is a testament to unwavering commitment of the District Administration to the safety and comfort of the pilgrims. With the efforts of the officers and the support of the local community, the Shri Baba Budha Amarnath ji Yatra is expected to be a fulfilling and memorable experience for all those who undertake it.

    Among the others, Anshuman Chopra, Kewal Sharma, (Distt President VHP), Gourav Mahajan (District Gen Secretary), Karan Singh( Prant Seh Mantri); Kapil Sharma (Vibagh Mantri); Sahil Pandit( Bajrangdal President), Deepak Sapotra (District Cashier); Sangeet (Zila Seva Pramukh); Sanjay Sharma(Seh Pramukh); Atul Sharma(Math Mandir Sampark Pramukh) and other stakeholders also remained present in the meeting.

    RAJOURI JULY 09:–CCIU Rajouri, a dedicated unit to deal with cases of online frauds and cyber crime, has successfully recovered hard earned money of a cyber fraud victim.

    Acting proactively, the District Cyber Crime Investigation Unit Rajouri has achieved a success by recovering of funds valuing of rupees 1,50,000/= to a cyber crime victim.

    Mentionable that an aggrieved person reached out to Cyber Crime Investigation unit Rajouri with his grievance of being defrauded by online scamster. Following which the dedicated team of CCIU Rajouri started its investigation.

    Notably the diligent investigative efforts of District Cyber Investigation Unit Rajouri in coordination with financial institutions resulted in making the recovery of defrauded money.

    The District Cyber Investigation Unit Rajouri remains committed and vigilant in efforts to prevent and combat financial crimes, working tirelessly to safeguard the interests and financial security of our citizens.

    RAJOURI JULY 09:–For better area familiarization of forces and to ensure strengthened synergy, an Area Domination Route March was carried out in and around Rajouri town on Tuesday afternoon.

    Organised under the supervision of District Police Office Rajouri, forces including J&K Police, IRP, SoG, BSF, CRPF, CISF were part of this.

    The march started from District Police Lines Rajouri and passed through eleven different localities in and around the town before culmination at DPL.

    Senior officers of participating forces were leading this march which was an initiative to ensure proper area familiarisation of security forces working on field besides more strengthened inter-forces coordination.

    SSP Rajouri asserted that besides forces, civil population is the important stakeholder of security setup and their vigilant approach is prerequisite to defeat the nefarious design of enemy.
