    RAJOURI JUNE 26:–District Unit of JK PCC Pahari Cell held a meeting of its office bearers and all Block Units of District Rajouri  at Tariq Residency Rajouri.

    Besides the office bearers of the district and all block units, the meeting was attended by the state unit and representatives from JKPCC parent body .

    The interactive session was opened by the district president of Pahari Cell Haji Farooq Khan who welcomed the participants on behalf of the district unit and congratulated the office bearers for their new and viral assignments by the party president Sh waqar Rasool . The president hoped that the members shall come up to the expectations of the party through their work .

    Later, Sajjad Tariq , Chairman JKPCC Pahari Cell JK UT, in his introductory speech stressed upon the strong organisational structuring and pro people efforts by the members after having been assigned the responsibility in the organisation. Sajjad Tariq also extended his gratitude to the leadership for having understood the miseries of Pahari Tribe living on the line of control and constituting the Pahari Cell to address the problems of the community.
    The chairperson also declared the future plan of activities to be carried out by all the units of the cell to stand beside the people .

    Addressing the participating office bearers of the Pahari Cell , the Gen secretary Mohd Iqbal Shawl encompassed the aftermaths of the partition and the brunts suffered by the Pahari Community over the decades. Mr Shawl enumerated the sufferings of the tribe particularly in economic, educational, social , political aspects together with the losses suffered by the Pahari Community as a result of their stay in the shelling zones of the LOC.

    Mr Shawl thanked the congress leadership especially Waqar Rasool Wani, President JKPCC for understanding the plight of the tribe and constituting the Pahari Cell .
    Iqbal Shawl also made it clear that people of pirpanjal region take full faith in the leadership especially Waqar Rasool President JK PCC and requested the participants to work with dedication to do all efforts to resolve the issues of the people especially the community.

    Speaking on behalf of the parent organisation Shakeel Ahmed Mir Gen. Secretary JK PCC said that Congress was the only choice of the people of pirpanjal region and they have shown their loyalties to the party during the recent Lok Sabha elections in which a heavy voting was exhibited by the people for the INDIA candidate.

    Shakeel Mir also said that during the coming Assembly Elections Congress shall forcefully demonstrate its strength in the region.

    At the close se of the inaugural session, all the participants expressed their faith in Congress party and its leadership . They vowed to work unitedly under the leadership of Waqar Rasool Wani President JKPCC and assured their relentless efforts in the Cell to strengthen the party through an outreach campaign.

    The house, unitedly extended greetings to  Rahul Gandhi on becoming the leader of opposition in the eighteenth Lok Sabha .

    RAJOURI, JUNE 26: –In an earnest endeavor to promptly address public grievances in the remote areas, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Om Prakash Bhagat today chaired a public outreach camp at Peeri area of block Budhal Old.

    A wide range of demands were raised by the local residents seeking renovation of roads, upgrading of government institutions, augmentation of water supply, healthcare infrastructure, check on inflated electricity bills etc.

    The event also provided an opportunity to the government functionaries to inform the public about various schemes and programs being implemented by their respective departments. Attendees were encouraged to take the benefit of these initiatives for their betterment.

    Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner affirmed the unwavering commitment of the District Administration to provide essential services to the citizens at their doorstep. He recognized the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders in achieving the developmental goals of the district.

    The Deputy Commissioner assured the public that all their concerns are properly documented and each genuine issue would be addressed through the intervention of the respective departments in a phased and time-bound manner.

    In a spirit of collaboration, the Deputy Commissioner also acknowledged the contribution of all stakeholders who have played a vital role in achieving the objectives of government schemes.

    Instructions were issued to the concerned departments to prioritize and resolve the issues flagged by the public. Notably, several issues were resolved on the spot with the prompt intervention of the concerned departments.

    Regarding the ongoing developmental projects, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri directed the concerned officers to expedite progress and ensure timely completion. Recognizing the pivotal role these projects play in the growth of the region, he stressed the significance of efficient execution to bring tangible improvements to the community.

    RAJOURI, JUNE 25: –District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Om Prakash Bhagat today presided over a crucial meeting of the District Level Advisory Committee (DLAC) to evaluate the implementation of the Food Safety & Standards Act and the campaign, “Eat Right Challenge,” in the district.

    The meeting underscored the paramount importance of spreading mass awareness about the Eat Right Challenge, campaign, a nation-wide initiative aimed at promoting healthier dietary habits.

    The Assistant Commissioner Food Safety Rajouri informed that training has been provided to around 200 officials of the ICDS department about health and hygiene and 150 ICDS officials have also been trained about fortification of food further supporting the goals of campaign of fostering healthier living standards within the community.

    The DDC Om Prakash Bhagat emphasised the need to educate the public about the numerous advantages of adopting wholesome food practices to ensure the successful realization of the objectives of the campaign.

    Speaking at the meeting, the DDC said that Eat Right Challenge, campaign is not just about encouraging dietary changes; it’s about improving public health and overall well-being. To make this initiative a success, we must diligently educate our community about the benefits of choosing nutritious foods. By doing so, we can contribute to the realization of a healthier and more vibrant society.

    The District Development Commissioner called upon all stakeholders to collaborate actively in disseminating information about the Eat Right Challenge, campaign. He directed them to engage in comprehensive outreach programs to ensure that every citizen of Rajouri is aware of the positive impact that healthy eating can have on their lives.

    POONCH JUNE 26:–The 2nd Senior National 20 Cricket championship for Men conducted in J&K at Srinagar by 20 Cricket Association of J&K under the banner of 20 Cricket Federation of India concluded at TRC Cricket Ground Srinagar on 24-06-2024.

    Mr. Sanjiv M Gadkar (IAS), CEO Ayushman Bharat was the Chief Guest on concluded function and Shafqat Shafi, Manager TRC Cricket Ground, J&K Sports Council, Mr. Narinder Singh, Secretary General 20 Cricket Federation of India and Fancy Jan was the Guest of Honours.

    On the occasion  chief guest distributed medals/trophies among the winning teams. Mr. Narinder Singh Secretary General 20 Cricket Federation of India was also present in the concluded function. The office bearers of different States/UT’s Secretaries were also present who witnessed the concluded function.

    More than 12 teams of different States/UT’s of India participated in the 2nd Senior National 20 Cricket Championship for Men in J&K at Srinagar are participated in the said prestigious National competition.
    The 20 Cricket Association of J&K who organized the said tournament under the banner of 20 Cricket Federation of India successfully in J&K at Srinagar which was held w.e.f. 21-06-2024 to 24-06-2024. The General Secretary, Miss Fancy Jan of 20 Cricket Association of J&K and other officials thanked the chief guest, guest of honours and other officials of 20 Cricket Federation of India and all State/UT Secretaries at Srinagar.

    Pervaiz Malik a Rek physical teacher in the Department of youth services and Sports and the captain of the J&k Senior team.It’s a proud moment for the department that under his captaincy, the team has won.
