    UDHAMPUR MAY 19:-District Level Friendship Cricket Cup Tournament, organized by Mahajan Sabha Udhampur, unfolded at the DPS Ground udhampur. The tournament kicked off at 7:00 AM, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition among cricket enthusiasts.

    The event was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Chief Guest Jugal Kishore Gupta and Special Guest Vivek Gupta. Vineet Gupta, President of Mahajan Sabha Udhampur, along with General Secretary Ankush Gupta, and members Akshay Mahajan, Sanjay Gupta, Deepanker Gupta, Tarun Gupta, Kamal Gupta, Pawan Gupta, and Ravi Gupta, played a pivotal role in organizing the successful tournament.

    The highlight of the day was the electrifying match between Udhampur Spartans and Jammu Sunrisers. Both teams displayed exemplary cricketing skills, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats. Ultimately, the Udhampur Spartans emerged victorious, claiming the coveted trophy!

    RAJOURI, MAY 19:-The first day of the home voting was marked by an enthusiastic participation from the electorate in 84 Nowshera AC, 85 Rajouri AC, 86 Budhal and 87 Thanamandi AC falling in 3-Anantnag-Rajouri Parliamentary Constituency.

    It is for the first time that the Election Commission of India (ECI) has provided the facility of home voting for the elderly and Persons with Disabilities in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

    The Voters above 85 years of age and Persons with 40% Disabilities (PwDs) can avail the optional home voting facility.

    Out of a total of 1155 voters, as many as 823 people availed the home voting facility on the first day and cast their vote from the comfort of their homes.

    This home voting is being conducted for three days, providing voters with ample time and opportunity to exercise their right to vote. The local authorities have worked diligently to ensure a smooth and secure electoral process.

    RAJOURI MAY 19:–Leaders of All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) today appealed OBC community to vote Mehbooba Mufti for her landslide victory from Anantnag-Rajouri Parliamentary Constituency for which leaders handed over the unconditional letter of support to Mehbooba Mufti last week. General Secretary AIBCU Prof. Kali Dass said that Parliament elections are going on and it is a chance for the public to choose the candidates from their respective constituencies as per their choice based on the previous performance by their respective MPs and the performance of the govt of the political parties above all.

    He said that it has been observed that during the past ten years there is a great deterioration in the governance regarding the constitutional rights of the public.

    He said that what promises were made, never fulfilled and the youth has become frustrated because of PAPER LEAKS,
    Prof Kali Dass said that 2 crore jobs every year promised by BJP never fulfilled, education has become more costly. Price rise has gone to the sky. No employment has been provided.

    He said that Govt say that demand of OBCs have been met but we say that 19% due share has been snatched.
    All institutions genrating employments have been privatised by BJP led central govt so sources of employment have been blocked and question of reservation does not rise, reservation is automatically finished.

    Besides, there is a big threat to the INDIAN CONSTITUTION . If Constitution is diluted and replaced then there is no scope of any employment for backward classes Prof Kali Dass added.
    He said that the foremost duty of the voters is to save the Constitution and for that All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) has decided to vote and support Madam Mehbooba Mufti.

    For that AIBCU has already appealed to the BACKWARD CLASSES to vote Madam Mufti for her landslide victory from the ANANTNAG- RAJOURI parliament constituency.
