    Congress Manifesto Promises Full Statehood Return For Jammu And Kashmir

    NEW DELHI APRIL 05:–The Congress party unveiled its manifesto titled ‘Nyay Patra’ promising several key initiatives, including restoring full statehood to Jammu and Kashmir immediately.

    Also, they pledged to fill nearly 30 lakh vacancies in central government posts, implement a 10 percent quota in jobs and educational institutions for economically weaker sections, adopt the Rajasthan model of cashless insurance for universal healthcare, and pass a constitutional amendment to raise the cap on reservations for SC, ST, and OBC.

    They also committed to conducting a nationwide socio-economic and caste census and guaranteed a new ‘right to apprenticeship act’ for diploma holders or graduates below 25.

    Furthermore, the manifesto outlined plans for urban employment programs, abolishing the Agnipath program, and ensuring normal recruitment in the armed forces to achieve full sanctioned strength.

    RAJOURI APRIL 05:–Police in Budhal area of Rajouri have arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest in a case of police station of area.

    Police said that absconder namely Naseer Ahmed son of Mohd Yousuf resident of Zadoorah, District Pulwama was involved in case FIR no 106/2023 U/Ss 451,323,504 IPC of Police Station Budhal against whom a warrant of arrest U/S 299 CrPC was issued by the Hon’ble Court of JMIC Budhal.

    On Friday, a team of police station Budhal headed by SHO Mohammad Rashad arrested the said accused who will be produced before the Hon’ble court of JMIC Budhal.

    RAJOURI APRIL 05:-A local youth from Manjakote area in Rajouri has been arrested by police alongwith consignment of narcotics.

    Police said that a team on naka duty under Manjakote police station area was on routine naka checking at Rajdhani chowk, when a person coming from Saroola area towards Rajdhani tried to run away suspiciously and was chased by naka party and detained.

    He disclosed name as Mohd Yasir son of Mohd Taj resident of Saroola, Manjakote.

    On his personal search 3.40 grams of Herione like substance has been recovered from his possession.

    On this a case FIR no 29 /2024 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered.

    The arrest has been made by police team of Police Station Manjakote led by SHO Manjakote.

    JAMMU APRIL 05:– DGP J&K R.R Swain,IPS accompanied by ADGP Jammu Zone Anand Jain,IPS and Div Com Jammu Ramesh Kumar,IAS took stock of the security situation at Poonch where a joint security review meeting was convened which was co-chaired by Core Commander White Knight corps Lt. Gen Navin Sachdeva and attended by GOC Romeo Force and GOC 25 Div Rajouri DIG RP Range Tejinder Singh,IPS besides DC Poonch Yasin Choudhary,IAS and ASP Poonch Mushim Ahmed, JKPS and senior officers from intelligence agencies.

    Threadbare deliberations were made to bust OGW modules, arrests of OGWs and speed up the anti-terror operations besides strengthening of anti infiltration grid and synergy among the security forces.

    Special stress was also laid on for the smooth and peaceful conduct of Lok Sabha elections 2024.

    DGP along with other senior officers also visited the forward areas on LOC.

    Thereafter a meeting was convened in DPO Poonch where a detailed presentation was given by ASP Poonch Mushim Ahmed,JKPS on the present security scenerio, law and order, militancy and the election preparedness.

    DGP laid stress on strengthening of intelligence network on the ground and that work out to crack their OGW networks besides basic policing and work vigourously on the narco terror channels.

    He further had a deatailed feedback regarding the security measures taken for the conduct of smooth and peaceful general elections 2024 and any incident will not be tolerated.
    The meeting was attended by senior Army/CRPF officers from sister agencies and the GO’s of District Police Poonch.
