JAMMU MARCH 18:–Safeer Choudhary Senior Leader Aap addresed a press on the issue of First code of conduct violations seen in Kathua and Udhampur In view of enforcement of model code of conduct, the transfer order issued by office of financial commissioner (Rev) were recinde ab-initio with the directions to all subordinate offices to do the same.

Consequent upon the direction issued in this regard and to follow the guidelines/ instructions issued by Hon’ble Chief Election Commission of India and subsequently media invitation on 15-03-2024, the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir and Dy. Commissioner Kishtwar respectively have recinded all the transfer/posting orders issued on 15th & 16th of March 2024 with the directions to all officials to continue at their pervious place of posting even if they have joined at their new place of posting.

But it is very strange rather unfortunate to say that transfer / posting order issued by DC Kathua and DC Udhampur on the same date are not being recinide ab-initio which is a clear violation of model code of conduct and harassment of subordinate staff by the implementation of such order and thereby reflecting the personal interests of the officer.

Safeer Choudhary further said The Hon’ble Election Commission of India is earnestly requested to personally intervene in this matter and issue order to quash all such transfer /postings order issued in hustle and bustle after the enforcement of model code of conduct.
