    RAJOURI/JAMMU DECEMBER 05:–To commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Kargil Vijay Diwas & the Centenary of the Bombay Sappers War Memorial in honour of our brave soldiers who laid down their lives in service of the Nation, the Indian Army Adventure Wing has launched a microlight flying expedition named NATEX K2K 2023-24, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
    The Indian Army Microlight flying Expedition ‘NATEX K2K 2023-24’ commenced their challenging expedition journey from Army Adventure Nodal Centre (Microlight & PHG), Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE), Mhow (MP), their home base on 20 November.
    The expedition Team reached Udhampur (Jammu & Kashmir) on December 1, where a ‘Flag Off’ by Army Commander was conducted as part of a ‘Curtain raiser Event’.
    The expedition flagged off from the Army Adventure Nodal Centre, Mhow (Madhya Pradesh), will fly through 37 stations in 37 days. During the expedition, the soldiers will cover 9,500 kilometres.
    The aim of the expedition is to spread the spirit of adventure, camaraderie, courage, and teamwork.
    The expedition will witness the participation of eleven officials, including three women officers, four JCOs and 35 soldiers.
    The participants will conduct a grand air show at six different locations en route including Jammu, Udhampur, Goa, Kochi, Pune, and Ramnathpuram.
    The motto of the expedition is “पर्वतसेसागरतिरंगा”. The team is proudly hoisting the national flag along with the Indian Army Flag and other banners, high above in the skies from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, spreading the spirit of adventure, courage, camaraderie, and teamwork.
    They commenced the phase 2 and came to Jammu where they conducted an action-packed Aero Show for young and large audience including school children at the Air Force Station Jammu, which is also celebrating its Diamond Jubilee.
    The pilots of the Army Adventure Expedition , Col Mankanwal Jeet Chawla, Lt Col Aby TM, Lt Col Jitender Siwach and Hav A Saravanan with their young Co-pilots carried out precision manoeuvres including formation flying and display of flags & banners and some adrenaline rushing low flying to the amazement of the crowd.
    They will now continue their expedition as per plan to go to the southernmost waypoint at Kanyakumari before overflying the fabled Ram Setu and continue along the western coast to reach Pune and complete the expedition at BEG & Centre.
    While at Pune the expedition will also add to the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla.

    RAJOURI DECEMBER 05:–The 72-day outreach and awareness campaign Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), aimed to promote government schemes and ensure the saturation of flagship programs, on Tuesday reached Panjgrian & Doongi blocks of Rajouri district.
    VBY is designed to bring the benefits of these schemes to all targeted beneficiaries at their doorsteps in a time-bound manner.
    The people from different panchayats including Tunditrar, Pallulian, Thandikassi, Pangrain Lower- A, Pangrain Lower-B, Pangrain Upper-A, Pangrain Upper-B of block Pangrain and Narian Parli, Sangpur, Sangpur Narian West, Dogani, Chingus, Loorkote, Agrati South, Agrati North and Dhanwan of Doongi block participated with tremendous enthusiasm in the event.
    In a groundbreaking initiative aimed at saturating the benefits of Central government schemes across the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) on November 15 from Khunti, Jharkhand.
    The yatra, designed to inform and empower citizens about the government’s flagship schemes, aims to create awareness, and deliver the benefits of welfare programs directly to the people.
    The Prime Minister also flagged off specially designed IEC Vans carrying messages of government schemes.
    One of the key aspects of the Yatra is the establishment of direct interaction between the government and beneficiaries. By sharing personal stories and experiences, the program creates a platform for individuals to voice their needs, concerns, and aspirations.
    This two-way communication not only deepens the understanding of the Government of the ground realities but also allows for the identification and enrollment of potential beneficiaries based on the information ascertained during the Yatra.
    The Viksit Bharat Yatra places specific focus on a range of schemes aimed at both urban and rural areas.
    In urban areas highlighted schemes include PM Svanidhi, PM Vishwakarma Yojana, PM Mudra Yojana, PM Ujjwala Yojana, Start-up India/Stand-up India, Ayushman Bharat, PM Awas Yojana (Urban), SBM (Urban), PM eBus Sewa, AMRUT, PM Bhartiya Jan Aushadi Pariyojana, Ujjala Yojana, Subhagya Yojana, Digital Payment Infrastructure, Khelo India, RCS: UDAN, Vande Bharat Trains, and Amrit Bharat Station scheme.
    In rural areas, the focus is on schemes such as Ayushman Bharat PMJAY, PMGKAY, DAY-NRLM, PM Awas Yojana Rural, PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Kisan Samman, PM Vishwakarma, KCC, PM Poshan Abhiyan, JJM, and SVAMITVA.
    By championing government schemes, fostering awareness, and engaging directly with beneficiaries, the Yatra aspires to instigate positive change at the grassroots level, paving the way for an inclusive and developed nation.
    The resounding participation of the public with unwavering enthusiasm exemplifies the collective commitment to building a brighter and more prosperous future for all, as envisioned by the Government.
    Among the others, Block Development Officers of Doongi, & Panjgrian namely Mohd Nawaz, & Sayela Mir respectively; Sarpanches, Panches and public in large numbers attended the event.
