    RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 17: –In a significant step towards providing affordable and quality healthcare to the residents of Rajouri, Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal, inaugurated the Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra at Old Bus Stand today.

    The Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra will serve as a reliable source of generic medicines and healthcare items, contributing to the overall well-being of the community.

    Speaking on the occasion, the DC Rajouri accentuated the commitment of the Government to make quality healthcare affordable and accessible to common man. “The Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra will play a pivotal role in ensuring that essential medicines are available to everyone at highly affordable prices. This initiative aligns with the vision of ‘Health for All,’ and it is a significant step towards achieving this goal,” he said.

    The Kendra will offer a wide range of generic medicines, including those for chronic illnesses, at a fraction of the cost of their branded counterparts. Additionally, essential healthcare products and sanitary items will also be available, catering to the diverse needs of the community.

    The Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra is expected to benefit a vast population in and around Rajouri, especially those who may have previously faced financial constraints in accessing necessary medications.

    This initiative reflects the commitment of the Government to ensuring that quality healthcare is within the reach of every citizen, irrespective of their economic background. It is anticipated that the Kendra will have a positive and lasting impact on the health and well-being of the people of Rajouri.

    RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 17– Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, visited Nari Niketan shelter home for women in need. During his visit, he interacted with the inmates, inquired about their well-being, and shared a heartfelt moment by celebrating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday with them.

    The visit to Nari Nikatan was marked by an atmosphere of happiness and sharing. The Deputy Commissioner engaged with the residents, listened to their concerns, and reassured them of the support of the administration in their journey towards rehabilitation and self-reliance.

    The presence of the Deputy Commissioner was a source of comfort and encouragement for the inmates, who expressed their gratitude for his visit.

    The celebration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday added a special and joyous dimension to the interaction, fostering a sense of togetherness among all present.

    This visit to Nari Niketan exemplified the values of compassion and inclusivity, which are at the core of efforts of the Government to uplift marginalized sections of society.     UDHAMPUR SEPTEMBER  17 :–In a brief function was organized at Mahajan Hall Udhampur to handover the charge of Mahajan Sabha Udhampur by the outgoing members Jugal Kishore Gupta General Secretary and Dharam Parkash Chakurna finance secretary to the newly framed committee.

    The members so selected are Chairman Sheel Paba , President Vineet Gupta, Sr. Vice President Deepanker Gupta, Vice President Kamal Gupta, General Secretary Ankush Pakhetra, Secretary Tarun Dharmania, Joint Secretary Gagan Gupta, Financial Advisor Sanjay Gupta, Publicity Secretary Akshay Mahajan, Treasurer Pawan Gupta, Joint Secretary publicity Ravi Kumar Gupta.

    At the beginning of the function tributes were offered to Lala Hans Raj Mahajan and Hon’ble Justice Mehar Chand Mahajan by Dev Raj Gupta Father of Martyr Tushar Mahajan and all the members of new old working committee.

     

    Dev Raj Gupta was honoured the outgoing and new members of Committee.On this occasion Vineet Gupta Newly nominated President said that the new team will work with sincerity , honesty and dedication for the service of society in general and the MahajanBiradary in particular.

    SRINAG SEPTEMBER 17:–   Displaying sheer commitment & unwavering spirit, two young and talented students of GHSS Dragmulla “Seerat Ashraf and Nida Mir” enrolled in Beauty & Wellness trade have created their own online (Instagram) pages and started earning. Seerat Ashraf and Nida Mir have achieved this remarkable feat and become a source of inspiration for other students.

    During the recent visit to the said school, the Vocational Coordinator, Ms. Mehvish Nisar delivered a guest lecture to the students about entrepreneurship and how the students can start earning from digital resources by showcasing their skills. Ms. Mehvish is also an entrepreneur and inspiration for others.

    Being inspired and motivated from Ms. Mehvish, students created their online pages namely Mehndi by Seerat and Mehndi by Nida with the help and guidance of their mentor and Vocational Trainer Ms.  Tasleema Mushtaq who helped them in practising the art more and more.

    The students’ effort has paid off as their pages are getting popular on the internet. The students are now increasingly taking bridal and non bridal bookings and earning reasonably well. Notably, Nida Mir is an orphan and residing at hostel. She is now able to help her family from the earnings.

    Vocational Education is being implemented under the umbrella of Samagra Shiksha, J&K and under the aegis of School Education Department, J&K. During a recent interview, Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, J&K Sh. Deep Raj Kanethia said that Vocational Education was earlier introduced in 553 Government schools and this year its extended to 514 more Government schools and the students are being trained under 14 different trades. More than 1700 Vocational Trainer and 40 Vocational Coordinators have been engaged under the scheme. In coming years it will be extended to near about 200 additional schools. As a part of NEP 2020; exposure of Basic Vocational Skills is also being provided to the students of Classes 6th to 8th through Guest Lectures by local Artisans and craftsmen and Field visit to local industry.
    Keeping in view the gender equality both Boys & Girls are being trained in these 1067 schools to bridge the gender gap in different sectors.
