RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 14:- Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today presided over a two-day state-level Management Development Programme (MDP) designed for healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff. The program took place at Government Medical College and Associated Hospital (GMC&AH) Rajouri, emphasizing the significance of enhancing management skills within the healthcare sector.

The event garnered participation from a multitude of healthcare experts, fostering an environment of collaborative learning and leadership development. Over the course of two days, attendees actively engaged in thought-provoking discussions, informative workshops, and enlightening presentations, all geared towards honing their managerial acumen within the healthcare field.

Officers, who graced the occasion included Rajiv Kumar Khajuria, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Rajouri; Dr. Mehmood, Medical Superintendent of District Hospital; and other staff members from the healthcare sector.

During the culmination ceremony, DC Vikas Kundal addressed the gathering and lauded the dedication and commitment of the healthcare professionals. He underscored the vital role effective management plays in addressing the challenges faced by the healthcare sector, especially in times of crisis. He also stressed the importance of knowledge-sharing and collaboration in achieving improved healthcare outcomes and community development goals.

During the review meeting, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for top-quality workmanship and adherence to strict timelines.

The meeting brought together key stakeholders responsible for the construction of these vital border bunkers, essential for the safety and security of residents in border areas. The DC, while addressing the meeting, underscored the significance of this infrastructure in providing a safe refuge for the people during times of border tensions and cross-border shelling.

The Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal stressed that the construction work must meet the highest standards of quality to ensure the durability of bunkers and safety for the community. He further emphasized the importance of adhering to the set timelines for completion, recognizing that the timely delivery of these bunkers is crucial for the welfare and security of the people living in the border regions.

The DC Rajouri Vikas Kundal also directed all concerned officials and agencies to collaborate closely to expedite the construction process. He assured that the district administration would provide all necessary support to ensure the successful and timely completion of the border bunkers.

Deputy commissioner Vikas Kundal passed directions to ACD Rajouri and XEN REW to closely monitor the progress especially in the blocks like Manjakote, Panjgarain and Nowshera. This proactive approach of the Deputy Commissioner and dedication to monitoring the construction progress reflect the unwavering commitment of the administration to the welfare and security of the community.

The residents of Blocks Manjakote, Panjgrain, Qila Darhal, Nowshera and the border areas can rest assured that the construction of these bunkers is being closely monitored for both quality and timely completion, ensuring their safety and peace of mind during challenging times.

RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 14:–In a significant step towards bolstering agricultural and fisheries development, District Level Committee today approved 8 loan cases under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme and 9 cases under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) here at its meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal.

The Holistic Agriculture Development Programme aims to transform the agricultural landscape, focusing on various components for comprehensive growth.

Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal, during the meeting, emphasized the importance of modernizing farming techniques, ensuring better access to resources, and enhancing the livelihoods of our farmers.

Under PMMSY, the district is set to witness a significant boost in the fisheries sector. The approval of these cases signifies a substantial investment in the sector, promoting sustainable fishing practices and augmenting income opportunities for local fishermen.

Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal expressed his optimism regarding the approved initiatives, saying that these projects align perfectly with the government’s commitment to uplift the agriculture and fisheries sectors. “We believe that these measures will not only enhance the economic prospects of our farmers and fishermen but also contribute to the overall development of the district” he added.
