    RAJOURI, JUNE 20:–In a remarkable display of humanitarian support, the Crescent Welfare Trust swiftly came to the aid of Krishan Lal, a landslide victim whose home was severely damaged in the recent landslide in Budhal & provided him with the assistance of Rs 10,000.
    The Patron and Settlor of Crescent Welfare Trust, Budhal, Waqar Lone also provided assistance of Rs 10,000 to one Mohd Amin, who was in dire need of a critical life-saving surgical procedure.
    Despite the spot survey by the Revenue officials, no assistance was provided to four victims of recent land sliding in Budhal town due to torrential rain.
    Krishan Lal, being the most financially challenged, found himself in a particularly dire situation as he is also battling various illnesses and his wife is bedridden after going multiple surgeries.
    Being in urgent need of assistance, Krishan Lal reached out to the Crescent Welfare Trust, an organization renowned for its dedication to helping those in need.
    Displaying unwavering commitment, the trust promptly granted a substantial sum of 10,000 in aid to Krishan Lal.
    “Our motto is to provide swift aid and support to all victims, ensuring their immediate needs are met,” said Waqar Lone.
    The generous assistance provided by the Crescent Welfare Trust will go a long way in helping Krishan Lal and his family rebuild their lives and regain stability amidst these challenging circumstances.
    Crescent Welfare Trust stepped forward to aid Mohd Amin, a resident in dire need of a critical surgical procedure. The trust, known for its dedication to improving lives, once again proved its commitment to providing timely assistance to those facing medical challenges.
    Mohd Amin, grappling with a debilitating condition that required immediate surgical intervention, also approached the Crescent Welfare Trust to seek financial aid and support.
    Recognizing the urgency of the situation, the trust swiftly mobilized its resources to ensure Mohd Amin’s surgery would not be delayed.
    Crescent Welfare Trust promptly provided the necessary assistance of Rs 10,000, enabling him to undergo the life-saving procedure.
    “The trust’s assistance extended far beyond financial aid, as we also ensured that Mohd Amin received the best possible medical care and support throughout his journey,” said Waqar Lone.
    “Our mission is to extend a helping hand to those in need, especially in matters as vital as health and well-being. We strive to ensure that no one is deprived of life-saving treatments due to financial constraints,” he added.

    RAJOURI, JUNE 20:–With an aim to aware the general public about the mission and objectives of the Jal Jeevan Mission, a ‘Parchar Rath’ (publicity vehicle) of the Jal Shakti Department (JSD) was flagged off on Tuesday by Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal, IAS, from DC office.
    The Jal Jeevan Mission of JSD is aimed at providing safe and clean drinking water to every household in the district
    The Prachar Rath is a mobile van that will travel across the district, spreading awareness about the mission and its objectives.
    The Prachar Rath is equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, which will be used to spread awareness about the mission and its objectives. It will also showcase the benefits of having access to clean drinking water.
    Vikas Kundal said that the Jal Jeevan Mission is a highly significant program for them, and they were committed to ensuring its success.
    He mentioned that with the assistance of Prachar Rath, they would be able to reach out to more people and raise greater awareness about the mission.
    He expressed confidence that the initiative would aid them in achieving their objectives and ensuring that every household in the district had access to safe and clean drinking water.
    Furthermore, he stressed the importance of creating awareness about the JJM and its various initiatives among the rural population of the district.
    He urged people to actively participate in the mission and contribute to its success.
    Among the others who were present during the event were DDC Member Rajouri, Sai Abdul Rashid; BDC Chairperson Rajouri, Darbar Chowdhary; ADC Rajouri, Rajeev Kumar Khajuria; ACR, Imran Rashid Kataria and DSEO, Sandeep Sharma.

    UDHAMPUR, JUNE 20:– Deputy Commissioner, Sachin Kumar Vaishya, chaired a meeting of officers of line departments regarding beautification of towns.

    Discussions were held on various aspects including revision of rent, Lorry Adda entry fee, building permission, implementation collection of trade tax, user charges, rent of assets and parking charges. The DC directed the concerned officers to work in coordination and generate their own revenue resources for developmental purposes in the Urban Local bodies.

    Additional Deputy Commissioner Joginder Singh Jasrotia; SDM Ramnagar Shishir Gupta; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Rafiq Ahmed Jaral; SDM Chenani Parvaiz Naik and other officers attended the meeting.

    Later, another meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner in which he took a detailed appraisal of the implementation of PMAY-Urban scheme in all the Municipal Committees of the district. Concerned officers were directed to ensure that no genuine beneficiary was left out of the coverage of the scheme. He directed the concerned officers to replace reluctant registered beneficiaries who did not initiate work despite consuming reasonable time. EOs were directed to motivate beneficiaries in their respective jurisdictions for early completion of PMAY-U houses. He stressed upon the officers to work with dedication and sincerity.

    UDHAMPUR, JUNE 20:– A day long sensitization programme on Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan for Drivers and Conductors was organized by District Administration Udhampur in collaboration with Department of Social Welfare Udhampur here at Conference Hall DC Office Complex Udhampur.

    Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Sachin Kumar Vaishya presided over the programme on the occasion.

    While addressing the programme, the DC asked the drivers and conductors to sensitize the passengers and advised them for pasting Nasha Mukht poster on their vehicles for general awareness. He emphasized on the psychological impacts of drug abuse on the addicts as well as on their families. The DC added that the aim of the programme was to spread awareness amongst the people in general and youth in particular to take necessary steps for curbing the drug abuse.

    He exhorted upon the participants to cooperate in making “Nash Mukt Abhiyan” a great success in Udhampur district.

    He said that the District Administration is committed to create a drug-free environment in the District and will continue to take all necessary steps to achieve this goal. District Administration also launched National toll free helpline no 14446 stickers to be pasted on matadors running across length and breadth of district.

    Later, the District Officers and participants took a pledge to make the community drug-free.
