RAJOURI, MAY 17:–As a part of the weekly Block Diwas, a public grievance camp was organised at village Lamberi in the Nowshera sub-division which was chaired by DDC Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, IAS.
People and their representatives raised various issues, grievances, and demands related to their respective areas.
Important among the grievances, issues raised include implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission, clearance of MGNREGA liability, desiltation and release of water in Rajal irrigation canal, fresh survey under PMAY to cover left out eligible households, adequate teachers in schools, shortage of drinking water, land compensation for NH144-A, & payment to beneficiaries under State Marriage Assistance Scheme.
In the camp, people were also made aware of the schemes being implemented in the district to promote self-employment and entrepreneurship in different sectors and motivated them to avail the benefits of the same.
“Eight schemes under JJM have been sanctioned for the block,” said Xen JJM.
The DDC, Vikas Kundal assured the public that all their genuine concerns would be redressed in a phased manner & urged the public to work side by side with the district administration for the peace, prosperity, and development of the district.
He highlighted several government schemes/ programs launched for the welfare of people & urged the concerned officials/officers to work in tandem for the prompt delivery of essential services and holistic and sustainable development of the region.
He also asked the concerned officers to “Gear up your field machinery and ensure that the difficulties of the people are addressed and resolved at the earliest” DDC asked officers.
Among the others, DDC Member Seri, Sangeeta Sharma; ADC Nowshera, Kartar Singh besides other district and sectoral officers and sarpanches, & panches attended the event.
Meanwhile, DDC, Vikas Kundal & DDC member Seri block, Sangeeta Sharma laid the foundation stone of the Water Supply Scheme under JJM at Lamberi Upper.
Rs 6.65 crore project will include a bore well and 5000-gallon capacity Rapid Sand Filtration plant which after completion would meet the water scarcity problem in the area.
Speaking at the event, the DDC Vikas Kundal, emphasized the importance of the Water Supply Scheme Lamberi Upper in fulfilling the government’s vision of providing clean drinking water to every household.
The project is expected to benefit a large number of residents in the area, who have been facing water scarcity for a long time.
The DDC also highlighted that a significant number of schemes under the Jal Jeevan Mission are currently underway in the district.
“Once these schemes are completed, the water shortage issue in the district will be completely resolved, Said Vikas Kundal.

I have many proofs in the form of documents that there is a scam of crores of rupees every month in connection with advertisement, most of which goes into the pockets of Joint Director Information Jammu. As many joint directors and headquarters joint directors have been appointed in this building till date, how much property have they formulated and what ownership rights do they have along with their families at this time, but the government is quiet and unserious.
Our media complex of Jammu and Kashmir is not a media complex but a mafia complex and I am also feeling ashamed to comment further on the activities of the government employees posted in the media complex to promote mafia and disgraceful activities in Jammu and Kashmir.
In this media complex of Jammu and Kashmir, journalists who believe in honesty and truth are being mentally harassed and disturbed. You will laugh or cry knowing the reality of the media complex. There is no vigilance officer of any department to uncover how many scandals happen every month. The special thing is that the Joint Director Information Jammu itself is the appointing officer of RTI who is also in charge of hearing RTI applications and often denying supplying the needful and required information with intention to protecting shielding those people involved in promotion of Yellow Journalism in the state with the chair of joint director information.
At an initial stage I have been also robbed by such an RTI officer and have engulfed 2000/ rupees as a pretended for supplement of information has taken the Photostat charges from me for answering the RTI in the initial period and then the entire amount was illegally embezzled without giving any information. When in this building one bureaucrat make successfully their transfer and present it to another bureaucrat, but the business mess is the same because the other active member government employee inside in the building keeping the account of commission collections from the part of some owners of blue eyed publications the new officers have been trained within three or four days about the rules running in the building
The employees posted in this building are not lagging behind to do anything. The public servants in this building whom we call employees are actually not employees but accused persons and having the largest criminal back up.
Until today, many people and journalists have lodged FIRs against the several employees of the Information Department, but the corruption-free government knows why no action is being taken against them.
After all, how can we explain to you what is the reality of Media Complex Jammu in the real world? As a journalist, I have never made agreement with reality and I am going to summarize everything gradually because I was stopped by the mafia group of employees to reach the hon’b le court also to pursue the matter frequently and independently though was listed against them before the Hon’ble High court of jammu and Kashmir . I have no faith in Media Complex Jammu Many employees were remain posted in this building from childhood till they retired without any transfer mode and some among have taken out their own job orders cum letters by themselves to enter this department which were also signed by the themselves, but the officers working under the people-friendly current ruling government were given promotions also those illegal appointee during the break before their retirement and instead of their termination and by making fraudulent orders mandatory lacks of rupees have been extracted from state exchequer unlawfully.
With the intention of erasing evidence Papers were burned by JDI Jammu and some newspapers were auctioned as junk .This building has also recorded an exemplary business record of colored carpets and rugs. Journalists have also been hit on the press briefing and answerable officers filled their own pockets in the name of non professional journalists.
In this big colorful large building the number of employees is involved in tempering the large advertisement bills of some owners of publications. It is pertinent to mention here who denied commission upto more than 40% for grant of advertisement in favour of their periodicals were being denied for the payments in one pretext to other and large number of bills have hidden of the some owners of publications by means of violation and principles of public servant rules.

As from which company the computers accessories and other equipment got purchased and what is the basic price of the purchased equipment and at what rates did the government employees purchase and install the equipment and what is the current status of the flooring and other equipment laid in the multi-storied building?

RAJOURI MAY 17:–Two person have been nabbed with intoxicant capsules in Thanamandi area of Rajouri.
In an official statement issued by District Police Office Rajouri, it has been informed that two person namely Naushad Ahmed Ganie and Abdul Majeed Ganie, sons of Abdul Quyoom Ganie, residents of village Husplote of Tehsil Thanamandi in Rajouri have been arrested along with 36 strips of intoxicating capsules (Pregabalin-300) which were recovered from their possession.
A case FIR No 56/2023 U/S 48 (a) 48 (d) r/w section 27 of The Drugs & Cosmetics Act has been registered in police station Thanamandi and further investigation is going on.
Police further said that action against those involved in narxotics peddling is going on at full pace with a number of people involved in this unlawful act have been arrested and similar action is going on.
Srinagar, May 17: Director General of Police J&K Shri Dilbag Singh chaired a high level joint security meeting at Police Headquarters here today to review the security scenario of Kashmir Zone followed by a review meeting with regard to deployment & security measures for the forthcoming G20 event.

DIG North Kashmir Range, DIG South Kashmir Range, and all other District SSP’s of Kashmir zone attended the meeting through video conferencing.
At the very outset of the meeting, district SSP’s & Range DIG’s briefed about the prevailing security scenario in their respective jurisdictions besides measures taken to ensure peaceful environment in the valley.
Stressing for further strengthening the coordination among all the forces, DGP said that a close liaison must be maintained at every level to foil any attempt of troublemakers and strict action to be taken against any person involved. He directed for increased patrolling and night domination to ensure that anti-peace elements are not given any chance to create any disturbance. He stressed on maintaining alertness for which he advised placement of ‘nakas’ and joint patrolling to check the movement of anti-national elements especially on inter-district routes and in periphery.
DGP stressed for ensuring all the possible measures to ensure security of vital installations and protected persons. DGP advised the officers that the security plans to be reviewed in view of changing circumstances and be executed on ground efficiently to foil any nefarious design of anti national elements.
He stressed on strengthening both border and hinterland security grid and enjoined upon officers to focus on counter terrorist operations and to target the OGW network if any. He also stressed for strengthening measures for intelligence collection especially at ground level and its sharing among the forces.
While reviewing the arrangements and deployment plans for the forthcoming G20 event, DGP discussed in detail all the arrangements to be made for smooth conduct of the event and directed officers to ensure that all the necessary arrangements are in place well in time. Emerging challenges and their counter measures were also threadbare discussed during the meeting. Shri Singh emphasized on coordinated security arrangements for the event among all the forces besides with civil administration. DGP also stressed for reviewing all the arrangements jointly by all the stakeholders to ensure synergy and better coordination..
