    RAJOURI, MARCH 20 :–The Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture & Languages (JKAACL) with the active support of Himalayan Education Mission Rajouri conducted a day-long literary event in memory of Nisar Rahi retired Principal, and an awardee of JKAACL & UT of J&K.
    The event was held under the guidance of Secretary JKAACL, Bharat Singh, in the auditorium of Himalayan Education Mission College at Thandikassi, Rajouri.
    During the inaugural session of the event, a documentary on Nisar Rahi was presented which was followed by a multi-lingual Mushaira.

    Prominent poets of the area paid tribute to the late poet through poetry recitals.
    The former Head of the Urdu Department, University of Kashmir, Prof Qudoos Javaid was the chief guest on the occasion. Krishan Kumar Toor and Ahmad Shanas were also honoured guests at the occasion.

    Dr. Alamdar Adam welcomed attendees and spoke about Nisar Rahi’s life and contributions.
    He emphasised that such personalities should be remembered and introduced to younger generations for their future prospects.
    Poets who presented poetry included Khursheed Bismil, Rashid Qamar, Abdul Qayoom Naik, Dr. Liaqat Nayyar, Khursheed Mir Janam, Mumtaz Choudhary, Mehmood Tahir, and Bashir Lohar.The proceedings were conducted by prominent poet Akbar Ali Banday.

    بدھل م مارچ ۲۰ :-جی جی ایم  نبارڈ ڈاکٹر اجے کمار سود،  آج بدھل، راجوری میں بدھل والنٹ اینڈ ہارٹی پروڈیوسرز کوآپریٹو لمیٹڈ کے دفتر کا افتتاح ایف پی او کے اراکین اور مختلف محکموں کے عہدیداروں کی موجودگی میں کیا۔ انہوں نے تقریب کے دوران FPO کے بورڈ ممبران کو رجسٹریشن سرٹیفکیٹ بھی حوالے کیا۔

    اس موقع پر بات کرتے ہوئے CGM NABARD نے بتایا کہ NABARD کی طرف سے ضلع راجوری میں سنٹرل سیکٹر سکیم کے تحت ترقی یافتہ یہ چوتھا FPO ہے جس کے لئے JKDCUL کو CBBO کے طور پر مقرر کیا گیا ہے۔ انہوں نے مرکزی سیکٹر کی جاری اسکیم کے تحت ایف پی اوز کو نبارڈ کی طرف سے دی جانے والی مدد اور ایف پی او کے دائرے میں آنے کے بعد خطے کے کسانوں کو ملنے والے مختلف فوائد پر روشنی ڈالی۔ انہوں نے کسانوں اور پی آر آئی ممبران سے بھی درخواست کی کہ وہ اس سکیم کو کامیاب بنانے کے لیے ہر ممکن کوشش کریں تاکہ نچلی سطح پر فوائد حاصل کیے جا سکیں جس کے نتیجے میں کسان برادری کی آمدنی میں اضافہ ہو گا۔
    قبل ازیں جلسہ سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کنو شرما، ڈی ڈی ایم، نبارڈ نے ایف پی او اسکیم کے مقاصد اور کسان برادری کے لیے اس اسکیم کے تحت حکومت کی طرف سے پیش کیے جانے والے فوائد کے بارے میں تفصیل سے بتایا۔ انہوں نے یہ بھی بتایا کہ اس علاقے میں اخروٹ کی فصل کی مارکیٹنگ کی بڑی صلاحیت ہے اور FPO اخروٹ کی مارکیٹنگ اور اس کی ویلیو چین کی ترقی میں اہم کردار ادا کر سکتا ہے جس کے نتیجے میں اخروٹ کے کاشتکاروں میں اضافہ ہوگا۔ انہوں نے حال ہی میں ترقی پانے والے ایف پی او کو نبارڈ اور دیگر لائن ڈپارٹمنٹس کی طرف سے ہر طرح کے تعاون کا یقین دلایا۔
    بورڈ کے صدر محمدفاروق نے تقریب کی نظامت کی اور اس اقدام کے لیے نبارڈکا شکریہ ادا کیا اور ممبران کی جانب سے بدھل میں اس اسکیم کو کامیاب بنانے کے لیے اپنے تعاون کا یقین دلایا۔ انہوں نے بلاک کی پروفائل اور اس علاقے کے کسانوں کو اپنی پیداوار کی مارکیٹنگ میں درپیش مختلف چیلنجوں کے بارے میں بھی ایک مختصر تفصیل پیش کی۔ انہوں نے امید ظاہر کی کہ ایف پی او کے دائرہ کار میں آنے کے بعد ان کے بہت سے مسائل وقت پر حل ہو جائیں گے۔

    شکریہ کا کلمہ وکرانت ڈوگرا، نے کیا جو کے CBBO کے چیرمین ہیں۔انہوں نے اس ایف پی او کو فروغ دینے کے لیے نبارڈکا شکریہ ادا کیا جو بدھل خطے کے کسانوں کے لیے ایک سنگ میل ثابت ہو گا اور ان کی معاشی ترقی کا باعث بنے گا۔

    POONCH MARCH 20 :–Nehru Yuva Kendra Poonch under the ministry of youth affairs and sports Govt. of India hold a District Level Mega Youth Parliament on celebration of India’s G20 Presidency at New Auditorium SKC College Poonch. The theme of the event was Basu Dhaiv Kutumb akam- One Earth One Family one future. Large number of youth from different parts of gathered and witnessed the mega event.
    In connection with celebration of India’s G20 Presidency ministry of Youth Affairs and sports through its autonomous body Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan is holding various programmes and convention in all the district of the nation. Conventions on G20 and its sub event Y20 are being held to aware the youth on the importance of India’s Presidency of G20, which represent 85% of world economy.

    Ms.Tazeem Akhter Chairman District Development Council Poonch was the Chief Guest of the inaugural event. The event was started by traditional lightening of lamp by the chief guest and Guest of Honour Rohit Baskotra Senior Superintendent of Police Poonch.

    Informative session on international year of Millets 2023. G20 was held by Dr. Ajay Gupta Senior Scientist Krishi Vigyan Kendra Poonch.Rahees Iqbal Resource Person from Employment and Counciling Centre Poonch Department delivered a lecture on Centre and State Sponsored schemes
    Mr. Vikrant Sharma State Level Resource Person Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan Jammu Kashmir- Ladakh while speaking on the importance India’s G20 presidency highlighted that it is a proud movement for the nation. Further explained the five themes of Y20 and said that these themes are very relevant in present times for the youth of the nation.
    Ms Tazeem Akhter in his presidential remarks said that in these times development is reaching in the door steps of last citizen. He further exhorted the youth to join the main stream to bring about the possible change in the society.
    Various diverse cultural performances were also showcased and presented during the event. Cultural items included songs and dance items very talented artists co presented were rich and diverse cultural and traditions of district and union territory. The team members of enthralled the audience.
    Various students and Youth speakers presented their ideas on all the five themes of Y20.
    Rohit Baskotra Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Poonch was the Chief Guest during the presentation cum valediction ceremony. Speaking during the event, SSP Poonch appreciated the efforts of Nehru Yuva Kendra Poonch in mobilizing the rural youth during the moment of national Pride. He further said that the youth should take the responsibility of the society and the nation on their own shoulders.
    Rohit Baskotra while presenting his view highlighted the developmental works and initiative of the Govt. He further mentioned the Gen Bhagidhari app and said that the public can use this app to monitor the developmental work carried out by the govt. He also motivated the youth to get benefitted from various self employment schemes of the govt.
    The valedictory session was held in presence of Rohit Baskotra SSP Poonch, Dr.Shamim Ahmed Banday Dr. Zakir Kalis Senior Adv.Ifthqar Ahmed Bazmi. Senior Lecturer Haroon Rathore Dr.Mohd Shafiq Prof GDC Mendhar Vikrant Sharma State level Resource Person .     Nitin Hangloo District Youth Officer NYK Poonch while speaking to the media said that Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan is holding Youth Parliament throughout the nation to celebrate India’s G20 presidency. He further said that the department have been involving rural youth throughout the nation in nation building activity through various programme and schemes since its inspection in 1972. The stage management was executed by. The hole event wase excuted by team efforts of National Youth Volunteers and Youth Clubs and under overall supervision of  Nitin Hangloo DYO NYK Poonch.     BUDHAL MARCH20 :- Dr. A.K Sood, CGM NABARD inaugurated the office of Budhal Walnut & Horti Producers Cooperative Ltd. today at Budhal, Rajouri in presence of members of the FPO and officials from various departments. He also handed over the Registration Certificate to the Board Members of the FPO during the event.

    Speaking on the occasion, CGM NABARD informed that this is the fourth FPO promoted by NABARD in district Rajouri under Central Sector Scheme for which JKDCUL has been appointed as CBBO. He highlighted the support being extended by NABARD to the FPOs under ongoing central sector scheme and various benefits that will accrue to the farmers of the region after coming under the fold of FPO. He also requested the farmers and PRI members to make all out efforts in making this scheme successful so that benefits can be accrued at grass root level which will ultimately result in increase in income of the farming community.

    Earlier addressing the gathering Sh. Kanav Sharma, DDM, NABARD informed in detail about the objectives of FPO scheme and benefits being offered by the Government under the scheme for the farming community. He also informed that the area has huge potential for marketing of walnut crop and the FPO can play an important role in marketing of walnut and development of its value chain which will ultimately result in increase of walnut farmers. He also assured all support from NABARD and other line departments to the recently promoted FPO.

    The president of the Board Mohd. Farooq moderated the event and thanked NABARD for this initiative and assured on behalf of the members their support for making this scheme successful in Budhal. He also presented a brief about profile of the block and various challenges being faced by the farmers of the region in marketing of their produce. He expressed hope that after coming under the ambit of FPO, a lot of their issues will be addressed in due course.

    The vote of thanks were presented by Sh. Vikrant Dogra, CEO, JKDCUL (CBBO for the FPO). He thanked NABARD for promoting this FPO which will prove a milestone for the farmers of the Budhal region and lead to their economic upliftment.

    Others present on the occasion included Sanjeev Bhasin, LDM-Rajouri. Mohd.     BARAMULLA, MARCH 20 :- Councillor MC Baramulla Nighat Mir  expressed deep solidarity with the victims of Iqbal Colony Baramulla whose house was completely destroyed in the blaze.

    In a statement issued here, Nighat Mir demanded that the victims of the fire be provided temporary shelter in any nearby government residence, so as to mitigate the suffering of this deserving family.

    “The administration should ensure that the family is provided with temporary accommodation, until their residence is reconstructed,” She demanded.

    She also urged the management to send assessment teams to Ground Zero in Iqbal colony Baramulla to take notice of the situation and issue the required Ex Gratia in their favor.

    “Nighat Mir appeals to the administration to help the family who have lost everything in this unfortunate fire incident and to assess the damage properly so that they can be compensated as soon as possible.

    RAJOURI, MARCH 20:– Justice Sanjay Dhar, Justice Mohammad Akram Chowdhary, Judges of High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, visited Rajouri to inspect proposed site for construction of District Court Complex Rajouri and Munsiff courts.

    The Judges were accompanied by the District and Sessions Judge, Kalpana Revo, Additional District and Session Judge Rajouri, Mehmood Chowdhury, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, SSP, Mohammad Aslam, CE PWD, PC Tanouj, Chief Architecture Officer Jammu and other judicial officers.

    The visit was aimed at assessing the feasibility of the proposed site for construction of District Court Complex in Rajouri.

    During the visit, the Judges inspected the site and held discussion with the concerned authorities to gather information about the technical and legal aspects of the project.

    The Judges emphasized the importance of having a modern and well-equipped court complex in Rajouri and other Munsiff courts that caters to the needs of the litigants, advocates and judicial officers.
    “The construction of a District Court Complex in Rajouri will provide better access to justice for the people of the region and will be a major step towards ensuring the rule of law,” said Justice Sanjay Dhar while interacting with the Media.

    Earlier, during their visit to Rajouri, Justice Sanjay Dhar and Justice Akram Chowdhary, also inspected the selected site for construction of a Munsiff Court in Sunderbani.

    They held discussion with the concerned authorities to assess the feasibility of the proposed site and obtain information about the technical and legal aspects of the project.

    In addition to inspection of the proposed sites for the District Court Complex in Rajouri and Munsiff Court in Sunderbani, the Judges also inspected Munsiff Court Thannamandi and held interaction with the Judicial Officers and civil officers to plan out ways for repair and renovation of the existing Courts in the region.

    Justice Akram Chowdhury chaired a joint meeting of Judicial Officers which was attended by Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, SSP Rajouri, Mohammad Aslam, CE PC Tanouj, Additional DC, Sachin Dev Singh, SE PWD, Kamal Kishore Gupta and other Engineers of PWD.

    Detailed deliberations were held with regard to infrastructure improvements in the judicial infrastructure in the district. Specific points which were raised included the repair and renovation of Munsiff Court Sunderbani/Kalakote, electrification of Munsiff court Nowshera and drinking water supply issues of District Court Complex.
    The general issues regarding functioning of Criminal Justice System in the district were discussed threadbare and many instructions were issued to SSP for efficient justice delivery to the public.
    Deputy Commissioner assured that the necessary renovation at Sunderbani Munsiff court will be carried out, while the issue of drinking water at District Court Complex will also be addressed through Jal Shakti Department.

    Justice Mohammad Akram Chowdhary, who is also the Administrative Judge for district Rajouri, also visited the court complex and interacted with the advocates and judicial officers as well as with prosecution.

    The Judges emphasized the importance of having well-equipped and functional Courts that cater to the needs of the litigants, advocates and judicial officers. They stressed the need for timely repair and renovation of the existing Courts, which would not only improve the infrastructure of the judiciary but also facilitate the speedy disposal of cases.

    The visit of the Judges to Rajouri is a significant step towards strengthening the judicial infrastructure in the region.
    “The judiciary remains committed to providing accessible, efficient and effective justice to all citizens. The construction of the District Court Complex in Rajouri is a testament to this commitment and will go a long way in strengthening the judiciary in the region”, the Judges maintained.
    Justice Sanjay Dhar, Justice Mohammad Akram Chowdhary, during day long tour to Rajouri district, also interacted with Bar Association members of Rajouri led by its President, Advocate Qammar Chowdhury.
