    RAJOURI, JANUARY 04:–The fourth victim of Dhangri terror attack, namely Prince, who was under treatment at GMC Rajouri, was airlifted to GMC Jammu on Wednesday for specialised treatment.
    Earlier on Wednesday, BJP state general secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta visited AH&GMC Rajouri & inquired about the health of the Dhangri victims undergoing treatment in the hospital.
    He urged the district administration to shift Prince, who has received grievous injuries and is serious to GMC Jammu for specialized treatment which the authorities agreed.
    He also urged the government to tighten the security network along the border belt and village along the Line of Control so that such acts will not occur in the future.
    He further said that Rajouri will never forget the sacrifice of its martyrs.
    Four persons were killed in the terrorists attack while 6 others injured were admitted in the Associated Hospital &Government Medical College (AH&GMC) Rajouri out of which later airlifted to GMC, Jammu namely Rohit Sharma (30) and Shub Kumar (20).
    On Monday critically injured Pawan Kumar (36) was also airlifted and today fourth victim, namely Prince Kumar (21) s/o Rajinder Kumar & brother of Deepak Kumar, who was the first killed in the terror attack, was airlifted to GMC Jammu for specialised treatment.
    Meanwhile, according to reports reaching at Rajouri, several Sarpanches/Panches of Dhangri and adjoining Panchayats have decided not to celebrate Lohari festival in memory of the deceased persons including two minors who were killed on Monday in an IED blast.
    In another development, the inhabitants of the area have demanded the immediate revival of Village Defence Groups (initially known as Village Defence Committees, VDCs) and warned that any further delay may result in the expected migration from such areas.
    It is also pertinent to mention here that after the Dhangri massacre several active Village Defence Groups (VDGs) in adjoining areas and in other minority community areas have revitalized their activities and also conducted searches in the forest adjoining their villages/habitations.
    In one such example, the VDG of Prori Brahmana has reactivated their activities, resolving to continue their fight against terror and for the security of their area.
    The VDG also conducted searches in the adjoining forested areas to flush out ANEs, if any were present.
    Meanwhile, GOC, 16 Corps, Lt Gen Sandeep Jain called on the DGP, Dilbag Singh at PHQ, Jammu, and discussed various issues related to the overall security scenario in the Jammu region, especially in border districts of Rajouri & Poonch.

    RAJOURI JANUARY 04:–A motorcycle broke police naka today late evening at Thalka near Nowshera after which cops with the help of locals chased the vehicle and intercepted it at some distance.

    Three person travelling on the motorcycle however left the vehicle in the middle of road and escaped.

    Searches have been launched but it is clarified that these suspects were not carrying any weapons and this information being shared on social media is not true.

    People are advised not to spread the rumour regarding these people carrying weapons.

    JAMMU, JANUARY 04 :–Jammu and Kashmir Border Area Development Conference (JK_BADC), a registered organization working for the welfare of residents of border areas of J & K have requested the district administration Poonch to evict all illegal occupants of government accommodation in district Poonch.

    Dr Shazad Ahmed Malik, Chairman of the BADC and former Vice Chancellor expressing his disappointment over the attitude of the district administration of Poonch in their dealing with illegal occupants demanded that immediate legal action should be initiated against all occupants of government accommodation in the district.

    Dr Shazad alleged that several politicians and former legislatures are illegally occupying government accommodation including government guest houses, tourist reception centers, Dak Bugalows and even government employees Quarters without any authority.

    He said many of these illegal occupants even do not pay any rent for the accommodation being used by them.

    He asked the Deputy Commissioner Poonch to publish the list of all illegal encroachers on the official website of District Poonch and also in newspaper and take all legal means to evict them including recovering all the dues from them.

    He informed that some former legislatures are even using illegally occupied govt accomodation as their party office.

    The BADC Chairman said that real deserving government officers do not get the government accommodation in Poonch town and Mendhar whereas these politicians have occupied the government building without any allotment and without any fear of law.

    He also stated that if the district administration Poonch does’nt get the government buildings vacated from these politicians then his organization may move to court of law to ensure that loss to state exchequer is not continued .

    SRINAGAR JANUARY 04 :–Strongly condemning the barbaric attack on civilians in Dhangri village of Rajouri which killed six innocent people and left others on the mercy of Survival , the young Seminary scholar Waseem Reza Kashmiri demands stern action to crush terrorism and expose those invisible hands which have dotted the history of Kashmir with blood. He offered his sincere condolences and prayed for the strength to be with the families where terror left its havoc.

    In a statement, Moulana Waseem Reza Kashmiri, a young Islamic Seminary Scholar studying at Al-Mustafa(S) International University of Howza Elmia Qom deplored the anarchy and denounced over the sheer indecorum state of affairs which has kept vandalizing the valley from the Eons.

     “ I’m deeply moved learning about the grievous and focused attack on civilians,  such attack are pernicious to humanity and condemned in Islam.
