Only 3-4 hrs a day electricity are being given to Mendhar sub division area which is totally unethical and not justified: Safeer Ahmed Choudhary
AAP Senior leader Safeer Choudhary, visited the Sub-Division Mendhar area of Poonch district, where he noticed the untimely and persistent power cuts on daily basis approximately for 15 to 16 hours per day.
Choudhary eventually raised his voice for the benefit of general public of Mendhar, Poonch where electricity is being given only for 3-4 hours a day and night, due to which the residents living in that area, are facing huge problems, in view of which Choudhary expressed his dissatisfaction and objection related to unnecessary and untimely electricity cuts through out the day on daily baisis.
Meanwhile giving more information, Mr.Choudhary also stated in clear words that in accordance to the notification released on *
24 November by the JPDCL. where electricity Curtailment sechedule/programme for 33kw Bhatadurian Line* has been made in such a manner that two Groups viz Group-I including Feeders Nar, Sangiota, Kalaban, Gursai,
Phamranar, Uchad & Harni Gulhata and Group-II including Feeders,Sakhi Maidan, Salwah, Naka Manjhari, Harni, Bhatadurain & Kangra, altogether comprising 13 Electric Feeder Panels are altogether faulted after every 3, 4 days to supply electricity to Sub-division Mendhar, why people of this area are devoid of electricity for 15 to 16 hours and only 3 to 4 hours electricity is being given. Also he bring in light the main point that when it is clearly mentioned in Curtail Sechedule notification that electricity cuts of only 8 hours per day is mentioned then on what basis electricity is being shut off for 15 to 16 hrs per day. Mr.Choudhary also said that when it comes on paying electricity bills, residents of Mendhar area are paying 460/month for electricity but looking at this whole scenario it is transparent that clearly 10 out of 30 days in a month their electricity has been shut off and on remaing 20 days, Curtailment in electricity and power cuts of 15 to 16 hours per day has been done which is wrong and completely non ethical attitude of JPDCL. department because power cuts has been done everyday by giving false excuses from the department like Line fault and heavy load on Electric Feeder Panels which is completely inappropriate statements thus Curtailment sechedule is completely not justified.
Mr. Choudhary in clear words said that Electricity is the right of every citizen who is paying on time electricity bills then on what basis people of Menndhar area of Poonch distric are suffering because of this untimely and persistent power cuts.
