    RAJOURI, OCTOBER 23:–Rajouri Swarankar Sangh has welcomed Lt Governor Administration for adding 15 new classes, including ‘Sunar/Swarankar’ (at serial No.35) in the social caste list.
    Rajouri Swarankar Sangh celebrated the inclusion of their community in the list of social castes & exchanged sweets, and the celebration was also joined by Vibodh Gupta, former MLC, and BJP State General Secretary.
    “This could have been possible only in a government headed by Narendra Modi which has the courage and conviction to transform J&K,” said Vibodh.
    Vibodh has also expressed gratitude to Home Minister Amit Shah and Hon’ble Lt Governor Manoj Sinha for conceding the long pending demand of marginalized castes of Jammu and Kashmir including the Swarnkars, West Pakistan Refugees, Jats, Gorkhas, Acharyas, and others.
    He asserted that the BJP government is empowering neglected sections to build a strong Jammu and Kashmir.
    Vibodh, lambasted Abdullahs (NC) and Muftis (PDP) for misusing Article 370 to deprive the already marginalized and neglected backward castes among both Hindus and Muslims.
    “These two parties have discriminated with the OBCs in J&K even after the Mandal Commission report,” said Vibodh and added that various political parties used these communities as vote bank politics but did not fulfill their demands.
    BJP district Rajouri general secretary, Koushal Gupta also congratulated the Swarnkars and said that Bharatiya Janata Party is committed to fulfilling its promise of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas aur Sabka Vishwas.
    President Swarnkar Sangh, Lakshmi Kant Saraf expressed gratitude towards the Prime Minister, Home Minister, & LT Governor, J&K for fulfilling their genuine demand.
    “Previous governments, including of NC, Congress, and PDP, only made false promises and never delivered justice to them, but today under the BJP government we are feeling empowered,” said Lakshmi Kant.
    General Secretary Swarankar Sangh, Varun Chandan said; “There is a wave of happiness among Swarankar people & this step will empower our youth and
    enable them to compete with other privileged sections of the society”

    UDHAMPUR OCTOBER 23:–Diwali celebrations at Udhampur was marked by yet another drive to encourage ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’. The cleanliness drive included school children who proudly donned on their NCC and Bharat Scouts and Guides uniforms, teachers and staff of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Udhampur and personnel from 71 Sub Area. The cleanliness drive was organised within the school premises, Shradhanjali Park and surrounding areas.

    The event also included a rally during which banners and cleanliness related slogans were raised highlighting the importance of hygiene, cleanliness and social responsibilities which positively affect the society and environment. The inherent effect of the cleanliness and discipline of the army appeared to flow down and motivate the children who undertook tasks with heightened enthusiasm. The event received overwhelming response and culminated with all taking a pledge to keep their home, surroundings and the country clean.

    JAMMU/SRINAGAR,OCTOBER 23:– Jammu and Kashmir rehabar-e- taleem teachers forum( JKRETTF) under the chairmanship of it’s chairman Farooq Ahmad Tantray hold a divisional executive meeting at Hotel peaks view Srinagar in which most of the UT executives and district presidents of the forum participated.
    According to a press statement issued here by the forum spokes man the core issues pertaining to Ret teachers were agenda of the meeting and were threadbare discussed which includes the initial 5 years of service should be included in service , reimplementation of old pension scheme in favour of the employees appointed after 2010 in Jammu and Kashmir , Transfer policy for the teachers appointed under RET scheme, Pay anomalies etc.
    All the participants expressed their views and gave valuable suggestions for the immediate redressal of these grave issues. Chairman of the forum Farooq Ahmed Tantray and all executive members unanimously appealed LG administration, principal secretary education Shri Alok Kumar and Director school education Kashmir and DSE Jammu that Ret teachers of the UT are facing hardships and troubles due to tte non redressal of these long pending issues and need of the hour is to solve these grave issues once for all for the smooth functioning of education department. All the participants in one voice stated that we do not want to come on roads for redressal of our issues.They said that they want to remain in schools and perform their duties with responsibility and dedication and said that they have full faith on LG administration and higher ups of education department that they will frame a road map as soon as possible to resolve these genuine demands. After conclusion of the meeting all the executives in shape of delegation approached DSEK Mr Tasaduq Hussain Mir in his office chamber at Directorate. Chairman forum raised the issue of vacant post of JD North , pending transition orders of teachers , regularisation of EVs , pending Time bound promotion , Transfer of Ret teachers and issue of reduced Rets . DSEK patiently heard the delegation and assured that all the issues in his competency will be resolved as soon as possible without any delay.     UDHAMPUR OCTOBER 23:–Continuing its campaign against Drugs and Narcotics, Udhampur Police achieved a major success by recovering 21.5 Kilograms (including packaging weight) of Contraband Heroin at Zero Point Chenani (NHW) under the jurisdiction of Police Station Chenani.

    Police team of Police Station Chenani was conducting routine vehicle checking at Zero Morh Chenani, NHW and a truck bearing registration No. PB08BT 9403 was made to stop which was coming from Kashmir valley towards Udhampur. During checking of said vehicle, Police recovered 18 packets of Heroin 21.5 kg of heroin (including packaging weight) and arrested one interstate narco smuggler who was smuggling the above contraband in the said vehicle.

    The arrested person (driver) was identified as Kulwinder Singh S/O Jarnail Singh R/O Nawansher, Punjab.

    In this connection, A case FIR No. 180/2022 under sections 8/21/22 NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Chenani and further investigation of the case has been taken up.

    UDHAMPUR OCTOBER 23:–In yet another major achievement, Udhampur Police has solved a blind murder case of one Smt. Shalla W/O Parma R/O Nallah Ghouran, Tehsil Ramnagar.
    On 16-10-2022 an inquest proceedings U/Sec. 174 Cr.PC into the suspicious death of one Smt.Shalla W/O Parma R/O Nallah Ghouran-B Tehsil Ramnagar was initiated vide DDR No. 04 at P/P Ghordi.

    During the course of enquiry, police team of PP Ghordi headed by PSI Rhythm Sharma and assisted by Insp. Pushpinder Singh SHO PS Ramnagar under the supervision of SDPO Ramnagar Dr. Bhishm Dubey while investigating the facts and circumstances of the case, the officers learnt of the foul play which had been staged to create an impression of a suicide.
    Police team detained some suspected persons for questioning and during the course of investigation & sustained questioning of the suspects it was established that the deceased lady Smt. Shalla Devi was murdered by her husband namely Parma R/O Nallah Ghouran-B. On the fateful night accused had exchanged heated arguments with his wife leading to a verbal altercation between the two. The accused person grabbed the woman beaten her and tied a scarf around her neck and then hanged her in the room to project her killing as suicide.

    The inquest proceeding was converted into FIR No. 137/2022 U/Sec. 302 IPC of Police Station Ramnagar, the accused namely Parma S/O Dhuni R/O Ghordi has been arrested by police and further investigation of the case has been entrusted to Insp. Pushpinder Singh SHO PS Ramnagar.
