    KUPWARA AUGUST 13:–Today Under the Initiative Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahautsuv “Har Ghar Tiranga” BJP District President Kupwara Abdul Rehman lone Along with Senior BJP Leader and District vice president Javid Ahmed Qureshi, ST Morcha District President Chowdhury Fareed held Tiranga Rally in Historic Chowk at Trehgam and Kralpora which was the Hub of JKLF and other Separatist Leaders.

    On the occasion Qureshi said that Kashmir will see more peace and progress as JKLF has vanished from the scene.

    Qureshi also said on occasion of a Tiranga rally held at Trehgam town of Kupwara district. Notably, Trehgam is native town of Maqbool Bhat, founder of JKLF. Quaraishi appealed to hoist Tiranga at their houses to celebrate independence Day.

    He said ever since Narendra Modi abroagted Article 370 and 35 A, Kashmir has witnessed developement and peace which was not possible from last 75 Years.

    UDHAMPUR AUGUST 13:–To commemorate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and spread awareness on Har Ghar Tiranga campaign a special patriotic programme was organised in Dhruva Army Pre Primary School (DAPPS), Udhampur.

    The events comprised of flag making, fancy dress competition, patriotic rhyme recitation and dance by the young kids. Being the future of this country, the DAPPS School has been grooming the children in order to make them future responsible citizens and work in the service of the nation. The Chief Guest of the event was Mrs Archana Sharma, Vice Chairperson, Family Welfare Organisation, 71 Sub Area.

    The children participated enthusiastically and the entire school was filled with patriotic fervor and zeal. Active participation by the young children made the event bright and added to its charm. The event culminated with distribution of theme based Flag stickers, muffins and candies to children by the Vice Chairperson.

    RAJOURI AUGUST 13:–As a part of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, district Police and district administration Rajouri organised a Tiranga rally from DPL Rajouri to Gujjar Mandi area. Around 3000 police personnel, employees of various departments, members of civil society and school students participated in the rally. Throughout the March, Police band played patriotic tunes. The rally received wide applause from general public.

    DIG R-P Range Dr. Haseeb Mughal, IPS, DC Rajouri Vikas Kundal , IAS , SSP Rajouri Mohd. Aslam, JKPS, ADDC Rajouri , ASP Rajouri and other senior officers of Police , CAPFs and civil administration participated in the rally.

    POONCH AUGUST 13:--Continuing it’s drive against drug peddlers Anti drugs front, Poonch Police arrested two narcotic smugglers namely Aquib Javid S/O Faiz Akbar R/O Surankote and Sajad Ahmed S/O Muzaffar Hussain R/O Seri Khawaja from Lassana and Sanai areas respectively . Herione contraband like substance weighing about 12 grams each making a total of 24 grams have been recovered from their custody.

    The Police team headed by SHO Police Station Surankote Rajveer Singh assisted by PSI Rohit Manmar, under the supervision of DYSP Surankote Tanweer Jelani on the direction of SSP Poonch Rohit Baskotra was on routine naka checking of vehicles at Sanai /Lassana during checking aforementioned quantity of narcotics recovered from the accused persons.

    In this regard Cases Viz FIR No. 252/2022 U/S 8/15/25/27-A NDPS Act and FIR No. 253/2022 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act registered at Police Station Surankote and investigation taken up.Poonch Police enjoined upon all citizens of Poonch to be aware of drug menace and report any incident to Poonch Police, their identity will be kept secret

    Rajouri,August 13 :–District Development Commissioner Rajouri proceeded a tour along with the District Officers of Jal Shakti PHE Division Rajouri and Rural Development Department in Panchayat Badhoon-A,Panchayat upper Dhangri,Panchayat Saranoo,Panchayat Godhar and Kesargala.

    During tour in the area Development Commissioner Rajouri discussed the component wise proposals projected under JJM in original and revised Detail Project Reports and also physically checked at site the feasibility of the projects.

    After detail review of components of projects proposed under JJM for Retrofitting of water supply scheme at Badhoon-A, Retrofitting of Water Scheme Upper Dhangri and Water Supply Scheme Godhar,Amritsrover at Kesargala,the Officers of the Department were directed to start the work on war footing basis and also directed the Executive Engineer PHE Mech. Ground water Drilling Division Jammu to allot the Bore wells immediately so that the schemes shall be taken up after development of source.

    DDC also inspected the Higher Secondary School Dhangri,interacted with the staff and students and directed the staff to ensure punctuality besides,ensure the installation of biometric machines for daily attendance.

    RAJOURI, AUGUST 13: –In continuation of a series of activities being organised in the district as part of ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, the District Administration Rajouri today organised a Flag rally from DPL Rajouri to Abdullah bridge and culminated at Gujjar Mandi Rajouri.

    The rally was flagged off by the Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal. The rally started from DPL Rajouri and culminated at Gujjar Mandi via Abdullah bridge.Civil and police officers of the District and students from various schools across the district participated in the rally.

    Officers who were present during the event included DIG Rajouri-Poonch range,Dr.Haseeb Mughal,SSP Rajouri Sh.Mohd Aslam; ADDC Rajouri,Pawan Kumar Parihar;ADC Rajouri,Sachin Dev Singh;PO ICDS, Shoket Mehmood Malik; DSWO, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt; AD FCS&CA, Arif Lone; DYSSO, Sunil Samyal; ARTO, Shami Kumar and AD Planning, Mohd Rafi.

    While speaking during the event, the Deputy Commissioner said that the objective of the rally is to create awareness among the general public about Har Ghar Tiranga, Nasha Mukht Bharat abhiyan, digital services, road safety and Jan Baghidari.

    “District Administration is organising such event to amplify the awareness of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’, the Govt of India initiative to inculcate a personal connect between the citizens of India and the National Flag”, the DC said.

    He also said that the rally would add more enthusiasm among public and respect for our tricolour.

    The Deputy Commissioner also called for coordination and cooperation of all stakeholders to make the initiative a grand success in the district.
