    BARAMULLA JUNE 20:–Baramulla administration starts massive macadamization of Roads in Zaingeer area Specifically Shiva Kharma Road has been macdamised by PMGSY DIV Baramulla and a seigh of relief for the hamlets residing.

    This road has been black topped for a carriageway of 3.65m. The residents of Marbal,Shiva are very much thankful to the district administration Baramulla.

    Meanwhile residents of Shiva and kharama, Yamberzalwari are highly thankful to PMGSY Division Baramulla especially Exn,AEE,JE and Employees of T S Construction Agency under headed by Director Shafat Un Nabi sab ,who left no stone unturned for the completion of this project.

    On the other side Residents of Shiva (Reshi Mohalla ) of the area have thanked the higher officials and DDC Chairperson Baramulla Safeena Beigh , DDC Tujjer Mohd Muzaffer, DDC Zaingeer Shah Jahan ,Sarpanch Shiva, Sarpnach Marbal, Sarpanch Javid Zangari that they fulfilled their long pending Demand.

    The locals of the area lauded the initiative saying that it solves many of their problems, one of them being accidents on the road due to potholes other it was difficult to walk during winters.

    People had a lot of troubles, there were accidents taking place here every now and then. We appreciate the work being done,” said Javid Ah , a local resident who was present at the site to witness a first-hand account of the work.

    Meanwhile, DDC chairperson Baramulla Safeena Beigh along with PRI’S ,and officials took a detailed tour of the area and urged District Administration for early release of other pending road works.

    URI/SRINAGAR JUNE 20:– Amidst his rousing reception by the people and the party cadre at Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday the Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said that he is committed to endeavor for the development and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir.

    Addressing a massive public gathering at Uri Apni Party President reiterated his stand that the Apni Party would continue its struggle to ensure justice to all the regions of Jammu and Kashmir and its people irrespective of what faith, caste, religious belief, and political ideologies they belong to.

    Bukhari said, “I assure the majority community that their rights will be protected by the leadership of the Apni Party. Nobody will be allowed to infringe their rights. While we will be safeguarding the rights of the majority, we will be protecting the rights of the minority as well.”
    “Our politics is not based on religious hatred or communal disharmony; we believe in a politics which protects the rights of people from all faiths and regions.” He added.

    Apni Party President emphasized on harmony and brotherhood between the people from different faiths, and said, “Maintaining communal harmony and unity among different sections of people is the only way forward. Only sustained peace and communal harmony will fetch prosperity and development of the Union Territory (UT). We ought to shun the politics that has divided us and destroyed the social fabric of this beautiful place.”

    On this occasion, Bukhari further said, “We have to avoid the politics that has brought only miseries to the people of J&K. We have seen bloodshed, violence, and so on over the years. But now we must put an end to this kind of politics for the better future of our youth and future generations. Only then will we reap the dividends of peace and positive politics.”

    People of all ages and respectable citizens of Uri greeted Bukhari and his companions at various places while he was heading to the main venue of the rally. They declared Bukhari a son of the soil who has shouldered the great responsibilities of his people.

    The youth of the town and the party cadres with party flags and raised slogans hailing the visiting leaders.
    People assured Bukhari of their full support and cooperation with the Apni Party’s agenda and policies of his party.

    UDHAMPUR, JUNE 20:– A meeting of the District Level Committee on change of land use was held today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Krittika Jyotsna here at Mini Conference Hall DC Office Complex.

    During the meeting, the DLC committee approved four applications received online from the applicants from across the district.

    The DC enquired about the status of NOCs being issued in favour of applicants and applications received and follow up status by the concerned departments.

    Directions were issued to concerned departments to ensure timely issuance of NOCs to the applicants after proper verification of documents.

    DFO, Shevita Jandial, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Rafiq Ahmed Jaral, CEO SMDA, Dr. Gurvinderjeet Singh, SDMs and other officers were present.

    UDHAMPUR, JUNE 20:– In continuation to the weeklong activities on spreading awareness on the elimination of child labour, Social Welfare Department, in collaboration with DLSA Udhampur and Labour Department today organised an awareness programme here at Jagriti Old-age- Bal Ashram under the guidance of District Social Welfare Officer, Kanika Gupta.

    Member Juvenile Justice Board Udhampur, Yasmeen Rehman was the key speaker on this occasion. Assistant Labour Commissioner, Pradyot Gupta, Protection Officer NIC, Neetu Sharma, Counsellor Saima, PLV Rajni and Rachna Sharma also present.

    Protection Officer NIC, Neetu Sharma gave detailed information about the legal aspects of child labour.

    The aim of observing child labour week is to spread awareness about child labour and to take necessary measures eradicate child labour from society.
