    Thathri February 19:–On the basis of inputs about inimical elements planning to cause disturbance and communal situation through Pakistan based terror handlers, a joint operation was established at Check Post Thathri by a team of Rashtriya Rifles based at Thathri, J&K Police Doda and SSB Unit at Thatri from around 0900 hours and frisking was noticed and checked.

    During the search of vehicles and passengers, the Security Forces noticed suspicious movement of one person who was trying to evade checking, frisking at around 1800 hrs wherein the same person was carrying live arms ammunition and pistol.

    The security forces immediately overpowered him and on frisking/personal search recovered one Chinese pistol, two magazines and nine rounds of live ammunition from his possession.

    The arrested accused has been identified as Adil Iqbal Butt S/O Mohd Iqbal Butt R/O Sazan, Bajarni, District Doda and preliminary investigation revealed that he was being handled by Mohd Amin @ Muzambil @ Haroon @ Umar who is a terrorist from Doda and operating from Pakistan.

    In this regard a case FIR No. 0025/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Thathri and further investigation has been taken up.

    Budhal February 19:–BDC Chairperson Javiad Iqbal Chaudhry visited the areas of Kotranka Budhal.
    During the visit, various political parties workers like PDP, JK Apni Party and others joined hands with BDC Chairperson Javiad Iqbal Chaudhry and put their long standing demands and issues before the BDC chairperson.
    The people of these areas criticised the party leaders who had been in power in these areas for many years.
    People said that in this modern age, these people are far from basic facilities like roads, water, electricity and education system. They allege that the former leaders used them only as a vote bank and nothing else. Instead of benefiting the poor people, these leaders worked only for their close ones and their agents.
    Poor voters are still waiting for basic services.
    After listening all the issues, BDC Chairman Javiad Iqbal Chaudhry assured the people that if these people would support him and stand by him, he would work for them and give these poor people all the basic necessities and committed to provide all basic facilities.

    RAJOURI FEBRUARY 19:– Mohd Saleem contractual PDD employee who was injured in a electric shock during performing his duty in Rajouri at present he is admit in PGI. Today the relatives of the employee held a protest against the PDD department and block the Rajouri Kalakote road for an hour they alleged that the said department did not care about their employees and not given financial assistance for his treatment.

    When the matter cames into the notice of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Vikas Kundal he immediately provide the financial assistance of Sixty thousand rupees to victims family without any further delay.

    ADC Rajouri, Sachin Dev Singh; DSEO, Bilal Rashid Mir and Tehsildar Rajouri, Mehmood Khan were present at the occasion.

    According to official statement issued here that Mohd Saleem got an electric shock a few days ago and financial assistance of Rs 10000 was immediately provided to the victim’s family by the District Administration.
    Power Care Group (Employees of Power Department) also contributed and helped the family of victim.

    DDC said that the District Administration Rajouri is with the family of the victim in this tough time and is committed to provide best possible support to them. He also assured to provide a commercial vehicle to the victim’s son from the MUMKIN scheme.

    He also issued directions to Executive Engineer, JPDCL to ensure that Protective Gears shall be provided to each employee, working for restoration of Power supply, so that such incidents could be avoided in future.

    DDC also asked the Assistant Labour Commissioner to immediately register both sons of the victim in her department, so that they may avail benefit under various schemes. Possibilities are being explored to help the Family of Victim, at this point of time.

    SURANKOTE FEBRUARY 19:–In continuance with the zeal for achieving greater heights in coordination with locals, Indian Army has always been at the forefront in maintaining cordial civ military relationship. Living by the standards and expectations, Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under the aegis of Headquarter Counter Insurgency Force (ROMEO) conducted “Connecting with Awaam” event at Kulali today. The aim of this event was to interact with locals of far flung areas, spread goodwill & establish a connect with them to enhance the bonhomie between civil populace & Indian Army. Chief Guest, Commander, 6 Sector Rashtriya Rifles interacted with locals. Approx 52 children undergoing tution classes at Kulali Youth Club, 17 girls undergoing stitching course & 67 persons including local dignitaries attended the event. Gifts & sweets were distributed amongst children. The event was highly appreciated by the locals and further enhanced the nation building image of Indian Army. A total No of 136 locals attended the event.

    the discriminatory draft proposal of Delimitation of assembly constituencies in Jammu Kashmir . The mostly concerned citizens are feeling that Delimitation commission has worked out on the
    behest of BJP unit of Jammu Kashmir and the government at the Centre.
    Speaking on the occasion, Didar Singh, Kulwant Singh,Adv. Sheikh Abdul Rehman EX MP,
    Desh Bandhu,R C Makhnotra,Varinder Singh Sonu ,Amrik Singh Roshan,Ram Singh Chouhan, Narinder Khajuria, Balkar Singh,Panch Kali Dass,Narinder Singh Khalsa and I D Khajuria
    flayed the draft report and alleged that
    in the report the proposal of annulling of Suchetgarh and undesirable method of reservation of all border constituencies.
    The speakers further said that government is
    trying to divide people on communal and regional lines to which the people of UT will not allow
    this to happen.


    The Speakers also raised doubts on grave mismatch on geographically has been seen in the newly proposed Parliamentary Constituency of Anantnag.


    The Peace activists further said that instead of creating employment avenues and resolving long pending genuine demands of all PHE, PDD ,PWD daily wagers,unemployed youths,the Border Batalian BSF,CISF aspirants, Dental surgeons, Daily wagers, SPO,VDC, Home guards, Rehbrey Khel teachers, Health workers, JKSSB, PSC aspirants.
    The directionless bureaucracy is snatching away the existing opportunities and pushing people of Jammu Kashmir into dark tunnel.
