When will Rajouri come on the map of tourism, Rajouri district is rich in natural beauty ? Promoting tourism will also provide employment to unemployed youth.
The role of local youth, media and local trackers is important but they are being ignored.
Umar Malik // Rajouri
Jammu & Kashmir is rich in natural beauty and the government also pays attention to certain places in Kashmir Valley and Jammu and has completely neglected the region of Pir Panchal and Chenab due to which the non-state and foreign tourists are attracted by the beauty of these two regions.
According to the details, Rajouri district where nature has created treasures of beauty and these beautiful treasures include places where man feels heaven, but to date the government has not launched any campaign for these beautiful places and if anything, it is in the personal interest of the local administration and the tourism department.
Local youth, trekkers and local media have an important role to play in promoting tourism as they showcased the beauty of Rajouri’s Budhal, Kandi, Darhal, Shahdara Sharief & Dera Ki Gali etc. After which trekkers from different districts of Jammu and Kashmir for the last two years Camped at these places and also trekked.
It is pertinent to note that in order to promote tourism, the Rajouri District Administration, in collaboration with the Tourism Department, is going to start a trekking camp for Shakarmarg of Darhal, 7 lakes.
Jammu, Kathua, Poonch and other districts are being given priority and local trekkers, youth & local media who have always worked for the development of Rajouri district and attracting tourists are being given priority are ignored and even sources said that for the trekking camp of selected trekkers are also being brought from outside Rajouri district. In such a scenario, what will be the future of local youth and trekkers as the purpose of tourism is to eradicate unemployment.
