    DDC Rajouri conducts an extensive tour of Nowshera and Sunderbani towns; Inspects progress on JPDCL Projects ;Asks for timely completion of projects in public interest

    RAJOURI, AUGUST 09:– To take stock of the status of ongoing projects being executed by the JPDCL under centrally sponsored schemes, the District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan today conducted an extensive tour of Sunderbani and Nowshera towns.

    The District Development Commissioner was accompanied by the Executive Engineer, Project Division Rajouri, JPDCL along with other engineers and representatives of turnkey contractors.

    The projects inspected today include New 6.3 MVA, 33/11 Receiving station at Nonial Nowshera constructed under IPDS scheme additional 6.3 MVA Power Transformer at 33/11 KV Receiving station at Sunderbani erected under IPDS scheme, and additional 3.15 MVA Power Transformer erected at 33/11 KV Receiving station Kangri under DDUGJY scheme being executed at an estimated cost of Rs 2.69 Crores, 1.38 Crores and Rs 1.03 Crores respectively.

    The District Development Commissioner also inspected Distribution Transformers with allied HT,LT lines in both the towns.

    The District Development Commissioner expressed satisfaction over the quality of works and stressed on the concerned authorities to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of the ongoing works for their time-bound completion so that the general public is benefited from these projects.

    The District Development Commissioner exhorted for mobilizing men and machinery for completing the projects in stipulated time frame and urged to ensure productive and fruitful utilization of the available resources.

    The District Development Commissioner also called for making coordinated efforts while executing Developmental projects to overcome any hindrance or bottleneck arising in the way of developmental projects.

    According to PRO Defence, Davender Anand, a soldier has been found dead under suspicious circumstances at about 8 pm today in Rajouri Garrison.
    Court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate into the circumstances leading to death, the police have been informed,” said PRO.
    Reliable sources said that the soldier, name not disclosed yet, was on sentry duty of a unit in Rajouri town and according to unconfirmed reports it was a hanging case.

    A police team from the Rajouri police station has rushed to the unit for the possession of the body and for legal-medico formalities for further investigation in the suspicious death.
    More details about the death in suspicious circumstances would be available tomorrow.

    The delegation raises various developmental issues of Bunjwah including completion of work on each road of Bunjwah on fast track basis along with completion of black topping of Dunadi Bunjwah road.

    Improvement, restoration and maintenance of old damaged pipelines and replacement of wooden poles and barbed wires. Connecting all hamlets and villages with road links especially Nali Dehni Pattan road and Patnazi ikhaw and Hiwan road. Framing of youth club list after holding verification and setting up of priority of higher qualification and active members thereby avoiding pick and choose manner.

    Besides all the delegation demanded the bringing up of Devigoal on tourism map and improvement of parks and hertiage of Bunjwah.

    Assistant Commissioner Kishtwar gives patient hearing of demands and assured that all the genuine issues will be taken with compotent authorities for early redressal.

    Srinagar, Aug 9 :– Jammu and Kashmir rehabar- e -taleem teachers forum has appealed principal secretary education for release of TA in favour of teachers conducting community classes and deputed for other assignments across the JKUT.
    According to a statement issued here by the forum chief spokes man said that after the government orders maximum of the teachers of JKUT has started community classes in their respective areas by abiding all the rules of pandemic situation with following of proper SOPs and covid -19 guidelines. Statement reads that Farooq Ahmed Tantray chairman of the forum, said that maximum of the teachers has started community classes and some are assigned for different covid-19, sehat PMAJ registration and other related duties across JKUT . He said that teachers are playing great and vitalrole in present situation with administration and health department during this pandemic. Tantray Appealed principal secretary education BK singh and other concerned higher authorities that TA should be released in favour of the teachers who are conducting community classes and are assigned for different duties across the UT.
