    J&K Govt. announces National Anthem Singing Competition as part of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav celebrations

    SRINAGAR, AUGUST 01:–The Jammu and Kashmir Government has announced National Anthem Singing Competition-2021. As the Nation is celebrating 75 years of independence and commemorating it as ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’, under the guidance of Lieutenant Governor, Shri Manoj Sinha, the Govt’s initiative has called upon all the individuals and groups to take part in the singing competition.
    Under the individual category people in two subcategories between 13-18 years of age and above 18 years can take part in the competition while in group category also entries can be made.
    This competition is open from August 1 to August 7, 2021.
    Winners of the competition will get cash awards. The first prize will be Rs 25,000, second prize Rs 11,000 and third prize will be of Rs 5,000.
    In this competition District-level winners would compete for division level and all the participants will get certificate of participation. All the individual & group winners will get a chance to sing National Anthem at their respective district/division level Independence Day, 2021 celebrations.
    To be eligible for the competition the individual / group members must be domicile(s) of J&K and not below the age of 13 years.

    Srinagar August 01:– Due to the rain, life has been disturbed and the houses damage due to cloudburst in Baba wayil, Gutlibagh, Nunar area of district ganderbal. The administration of J&K want to come to rescue of flood affected families of the district ganderbal and provide them all help including compensation, Shelter and food items.

    Social activist Ruheena Shahzad issued a statement has taken a strong note said that instant financial help, relief and rehabilation to be dispensed for those who have lost their houses in the recent flood due to cloudburst in district ganderbal.

    She also express concern over the lost of property and request LG, admistration and SDRF department should speed up relief and rescue operations, after flash flood triggered in Gutlibagh, Nunar and baba wayil area of district ganderbal.

    Ruheena Shahzad further appealed LG JKUT Manoj sinha ji should rush up SDRF and revenue teams to take stock of damages of residential properties, livestock, orchids and immediate installation of dewatering pumps and for immediate compensation to those families whose houses get damaged by flood due to cloudburst in district ganderbal.

    Kupwara, August 01:– Additional District Dev Commissioner (ADDC), Kupwara, Mr. Nazir Ahmad Lone was given a warm farewell by the district administration on his retirement from government service at the DC office, Kupwara, today.
    Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Imam Deen, SSP Kupwara Dr. G.V. Sandeep, District Officers of various departments, ACR Kupwara SDM Lolab, Tehsildar, CDPO, officers and officers of DC Office Kupwara and media persons were present.
    The Deputy Commissioner in his speech highlighted the achievements of the retired ADDC and wished him a prosperous life after retirement.
    SSP Kupwara and several other officers also spoke on the occasion and Shri N.A. Wishing Lone a prosperous life.
    ADDC in his speech shared his valuable experience on the occasion.

    On this occasion, Hinduist leader Raju Chandel while praising the tenure of ADC Nazir Ahmed Lone said that Mr. Lone has done excellent development work in Kupwara district and he has been an officer who had direct contact with the people of all the areas. And get the development work done very fast in all the areas of Kupwara district. Mr. Chandel said that honest loyal officers like Nazir Ahmed Lone are rarely seen in Kashmir Valley. While doing that, the country will never forget the work done by them in the society and we will stand with them whenever we need them in future.

    BUNJWAH Aug 01:–The Assistant Commissioner Kishtwar Mr. Akhtar H Qazi JKAS, today along with Tehsildar Bunjwah Shri. Irshad Ahmed Butt visited Bunjwah to access the damages and losses of livestock that happened due to the recent cloud burst in the far-off region in Bunjwah.

    During visits, ACR Kishtwar holds interaction with the general public at Tehsil Headquarter Bunjwah wherein scores of deputations raised various issues of the general public.

    The Youth Bunjwah submitted a charter of demands including the early construction of footbridges that had got damaged due to flash floods. The early restoration and maintenance of Bunjwah road up to Patnazi and blacktopping on fast track basis beside maintenance of other road links of Bunjwah area. The functioning of all tehsil level offices was raised wherein the functioning of Block development Office from Block headquarter was raised. Shortage of Doctors and Paramedical staff and early construction of hospital building was raised.

    Besides all these issues, Youth Bunjwah raised the issue of early construction of sanctioned electricity receiving station, restoration, and maintenance of old and damaged pipelines, functioning of Agriculture, Horticulture, animal and sheep Husbandary offices from Bunjwah and various other issues were raised before the competent authorities.

    ACR Kishtwar Akhtar H Qazi patiently hears all the genuine demands and assured that maintenance of road will be taken on a priority basis besides that I will personally monitor the issue of road. Adding that all the demands will be taken up with concerned officers for early redressal and functioning of Block development Officer Bunjwah will be strictly monitored.

    While responding to the query, ACR Kishtwar assured that adequate compensation will be provided to all beneficiaries as soon as the report will be compiled by the Tehsildar Bunjwah after accessing the complete loss of livestock, buildings, and all others.

    Meanwhile, BDC Chairperson Bunjwah, DDC Member Bunjwah, PRIs, Prominent citizens, Social Activists and all sectoral officers of Tehsil Office Bunjwah was present on the occasion.
