AJKYF wrote Lt. Governor to redress B.Ed & PhD aspirats grievances; Call record for vaccant posts of Lectures & Teaches in J&K, advertise vaccant posts: Youth Federation

Redress the grievances of B.Ed & PhD aspirats swiftly: Sanjay Sandhu

Jammu, June 17 :– All J&K Youth Federation (AJKYF), Executive Committee Member, Ch. Sanjay Singh Sandhu wrote Lieutenant Governor of J&K, Shri Manoj Sinha, a memorandum of demand for redressing the grievances of B.Ed graduate & PhD aspirats.

While issuing press statement, Ch. Sanjay Singh Sandhu said that from past few weeks number of B.Ed graduate and PhD aspirats were contacting youth federation for approaching the appropriate authority for redressal of their grievances and after having various sessions of interaction with the aspirants  federation have come up by writing a memorandum of demand to the Lieutenant GovernorGovernor for resolving their genuine demands.

He further said that it was mentioned in the memorandum that the future of J&K B.ed professional and PhD degree holder’s unemployed youth is in alarming stage because of which highly educated unemployed youth with B.ED, PHD, NET, JRF, and SET are finding a ray of hope which is all in vain from past few years. Earlier also thousands of RET’s were regularized and absorbed as permenant teachers and the educated unemployed lot of j&k was sent back to dark age and those who wished to serve in education sector and had pursued their academic career as per its requirements, their future was axed. With the present circumstances of J&K and keeping the level of unemployment in view, absorption of all the vaccant post in education sector through departmental promotions will only mean as a ” Calibrated effort” by the adminstration to discourage the highly educated unemployed youth.

It was further submitted and requested before the Lt. Governor to call the record from every Chief Education Officer regarding number of vaccant posts available for lectures, Teaches and 10+2 Lecturer’s in the School Education Department and publicise the same before the public at large and act accordingly upon the vaccant number of vacancies by issuing fresh advertisements followed by giving a reserved quota to the departmental promotions. This will be a ray of hope for the aspirants and will be accepted for in service teaching staff.
