    Mandi May 12:–Dr Tariq Hussain Sheikh, a resident of Poonch District J&K (UT) currently working as Lecturer in Department of Computer Science in Government Degree College Poonch & Prof(Dr.) Ramesh Chander Panda Dean Research & Development cell Synergy Institute of Engineering & Technology Dhenkanal Odisha along with their associates have got patent for their innovation . The Australian Government has granted the patent for “3D Printing of Cost- Effective Human Skull Models and Skull Implants”.The use of 3D printing technology enabled us to quickly and affordably create unique, complex designs, avoiding the constraints levied by traditional production methods, thereby boosting experimental success and improving the well being of the human beings. This process is widely used for assisting the surgeon in visualizing casualties in the skull and for planning the surgery with the help of 3D printed model and also has the potential for being beneficial for reconstructing the skull defects by 3D printing metal implants that can be fixed inside the body. This project outlines the scope of the 3D printed skull models and also emphasizes the practical possibilities for metal 3D printing of human skull and its potential scope in the field of biomedical surgeries.We invite inventors & companies to come forward & help society with mass production of this indigenous Innovation.

    ISLAMABAD PAKISTAN:–The two leaders exchanged views on Israel’s heinous attack during Ramazan on the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the worshippers inside as well as on Gaza violating all norms of humanity and international law. They vowed to work together especially at the United Nations in jointly mobilizing the international community to help stop these attacks.

    The leaders also agreed that the two Foreign Ministers would be working closely together to raise the Palestinian issue at international level.

    The regional security situation also came under discussion between the two leaders. Appreciating Turkey’s role, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of a responsible withdrawal and added that Pakistan would continue to extend all possible support to the efforts for a political solution for durable peace and stability in Afghanistan.

    Both leaders discussed further strengthening of bilateral relations and agreed that the momentum of high-level exchanges between Pakistan and Turkey would continue.

    The two leaders also exchanged greetings on Eid-ul-Fitr.

    :–In the wake of a continuous upsurge in the number of Covid-19active cases and keeping in view the approaching Eid-ul-Fitr festival, Deputy Commissioner has sought the active cooperation of religious leaders in containing the pandemic.
    Rajesh Shavan, Deputy Commissioner held an interactive meeting with the prominent religious leaders of the district through virtual mode and informed them that the administration is taking every possible measure in containing the pandemic in the district.
    “The upsurge in active Covid cases needs to redouble the efforts and the administration need the cooperation of the religious leaders in this regard during the festival” said DC.
    Religious leaders were requested for the enforcement of covid appropriate behavior during the festival, including maintaining social distancing, avoiding large gatherings and congregations.
    “Religious leaders and heads have a key role during the fresh wave of Covid-19 as they are the role models for the common masses and the people will follow their footsteps” said DC.
    He appealed to religious leaders to motivate people to go for vaccination and to follow SOPs in this fight against the deadly virus.
    “During the interaction, it was unanimously decided that no congregational prayers shall be held in Eidgahs and instead, Eid Prayers shall be held at local mosques amid strict covid-19 guidelines of social distancing” said an official.
    The religious leaders assured full support to the administration in this regard, he added.

    Senior Superintendent of Police, Sheema Nabi Qasba also interacted with the religious leaders and sought their active cooperation with the police and the civil administration in their fight against the COVID19 pandemic.
    Th.Sher Singh, Additional DC also joined the virtual meeting.
