    Rajouri April 08:-
    -District Administration and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Rajouri has directed the Block Medical Officers to go for tracing the primary/secondary contacts of already active /positive cases under their jurisdiction.
    Pertinent to mention that today nine persons, including three symptomatic, were tested positive today in the district and the tall has reached 50 in the district.
    According to directions issued to the Block medical Officers, were directed to involve ASHAs, Lok Mitras & other health employees to track /trace the contacts of 9 positive persons.
    Today 4 persons were tested positive in Manjakot health block and one each in Kandi, Kalakot, Nowshera , Sunderbani, and Darhal health blocks.
    Official sources said that since the outbreak of Covid pandemic, 194677 RT-PCR/ RAT samples were collected out of which 185102 were tested negative while the report for 6203 is still awaited.
    Out of 4004 tested positive, 3898 have recovered, 56 died and still the district has 50 positive cases.

    Rajouri April 08 :–Within one & half month of resumption of offline classes, BGSBU administration has reverted back to online classes for all the ongoing offline Post Graduate classes except those of the School of Biosciences & Biotechnology.
    The decision was taken by the competent authority in view of the rising Covid-19 cases in the district for the last one week.
    In this connection, an order was issued on Thursday by Prof. Iqbal Parvez, Dean Academic Affairs, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU).
    The order said that in view of the alarming resurgence of Covid-19 pandemic and the persistent advisory of the government to strictly adhere to all standard SOPs & protocols in vogue for prevention and safeguard against the spread of Covid pandemic , the competent authority has ordered that all the ongoing offline PG classes will be reverted back to online mode with immediate effect until further order.
    The order is not applicable for ongoing offline classes of School of Biosciences & Biotechnology, the order read.
    Pertinent to mention Covid-19 sampling and testing is already in progress in the BGSBU.
    “If you have to move out for unavoidable reasons, ensure that you wear a mask and practice social distancing, personal hygiene, and frequent handwashing with soap and water.” said government advisory.

    روحینہ نے کہا ، “لوگوں کے گھریلو تقاضے ماہ مقدس کے دوران تیزی سے بڑھتے ہیں۔ لہذا ضروری ہے کہ UT کی داخلہ لوگوں کو پریشانی سے آزاد رمضان کو یقینی بنائے۔ میں ایل جی کے موجودہ مقتدر داخلہ پر زور دیتی ہوں کہ وہ کشمیر کے اس پار لوگوں کو تمام سہولیات کو یقینی بنائے۔ .

    انہوں نے یہ کہہ کر یہ نتیجہ اخذ کیا کہ ہم ایک ہیں اور ہم اس بڑے وبائی مرض کے اس مشکل وقت کے ساتھ مل کر لڑیں گے۔

    Kishtwar April 08:–To ensure the universal usage of the mask by the public moving out in kishtwar town, Deputy commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma along with SSP Kishtwar Shafkat Hussain today conducted an intensive market checking drive within the town and fined a number of persons and Shopkepper who were found without the face mask.

    He was accompanied by ADC Kishtwar Pawan parihar, ASP Kishtwar Mushim Ahmed,EO Municipal Council Kishtwar Tariq Hussain Balwan, Xen PHE Anil Kaylu,NT Kishtwar Javeed Khandey besides other officials.

    During the inspection at the Bus stand area,District Hospital kishtwar and various other shoping complexes of the main market of town ,Deputy Commissioner sensitized the shopkeepers,commuters and the general public about the importance of usage of face mask and adhering to social distance norms at these public and other commercial places to keep the spreading COVID-19 at bay.

    A fine of Rs 300’was also imposed upon the number of drivers, commuters,shopkeeper who were without wearing face masks by the concerned authorities(EO Municipality and NT Kishtwar) and a total fine of Rs 6250 was collected on spot from defaulting persons.

    He also sensitized people above 45 years of age for innoculation of vaccine besides asked all the shopkeepers to co-operate in conducting the random tests and sampling of COVID-19.

    He also urged the public to avoid unnecessarily moving out of their homes and ensure following COVID-19 appropriate behaviour all the times.

    During his inspection,he also directed XEn PHE to plug leakages in water supply pipes in the town.
    EO,MC Kishtwar and AEE PWD kishtwar were further asked to establish the common sale places for street vendors and raiddiwalas at the designated place near old bus stand Kishtwar within a week of time.

Hakim requested the administration to do as needful so that the future of these diploma Holders will be saved as the admissions are going on and last date of submission of Applications for the UG courses is going to end soon.

    Ruheena in her message said, ” May the divine blessing of Allah bless you all during the holy month of Ramdan. I take this opportunity to wish Ramdan mubarak to all. May Almighty bless u all and accept ur fast and prayers.I also urge the divisional admistration of kashmir to ensure all basic and effective amenties are provided to the people during the holy month of Ramdan.”

    Ruheena said, “The household requirements of people increase exponentially during the holy month. It is therefore imperative for the UT admistration to ensure a hassle free Ramdan to people. I impress upon the incumbent Lt Governor’s admistration to ensure all facilities to people across the kashmir .

    She concluded by saying , “We are the one and we will fight this hard time of such big pandemic diesease spread together.”
