Formulate appropriate policy for Private School Teachers: Youth Federation

RAMBAN,April 06 :–All J&K Youth Federation, Ramban District Executive Member, Imran Farhat expressed deep concern over closing of Schools again and again by the government owing to the fact that they have failed to control Covid pandemic.

While issuing statement over recent government order for closing of schools, Imran Farhar said that since 5th August 2019 education system in Jammu and Kashmir is completely ruined by the present dispensation on their failure of good governance. Where the people of Jammu and Kashmir are suffering alot after scrapping of Article 370 and Covid-19 pandemic in general, the future of the students is also put over high risk by the government in particular. Since, 5th August, 2019 Schools and Colleges remained closed for long term again and again which have given a serious impact over the studies and simultaneously scrapping the job reservation from J&K will lead to a dark future for J&K students.

He further said that it is government’s duty to kill the corona virus by taking all the necessary preventative measures but not to kill education and future of students. Instead of closing education institutes government should take strict preventive measures to stop such kind of public gatherings which are witnessed nowadays at gardens, cultural and other musical programmes organised by the government for their own sake.

Farhat further alleged that large number of government teachers have started their side business, instead of attending their duties they are running private coaching centers and charging handsome amount whereas the private school teachers are deprived of their salary and no steps have been taken by the government in their interest.

Farhat demands immediate revocation of order in which educational institutes were closed by alleged that a conspiracy has been hatched against education system of Jammu and Kashmir and instead of taking other preventive measures on one hand government without any reason and justification closed educational institutes although all the educational institutes and students were following SOPs and other COVID-19 guidelines and on the other hand government is organising mega cultural events with huge public gathering without complying with the SPO’s.

Farhat also demanded for formulation of appropriate policy for the private school teachers in wake of the growing essential commodities price, closing of schools again and again and Covid-19 impact.
