    Rajouri police fines violators of face mask order

    Rajouri April 03:– Jammu and Kashmir police in Rajouri initiated legal action against violators of face mask order under SOPs of COVID19 and realised fine from violators.

    In various areas of Rajouri district, teams of police laid special nakas and intercepted people roaming in market and public places without face masks.

    All these people who were violating order of wearing face masks issued by competent authority were fined for violation.

    In Thanamandi sub-division alone, fine to the tune of 12,100 rupees was realised from violators. Mask checking drive was also undertaken in Rajouri City and Manjakote areas.

    Rajouri April 03:–With an aim towards inculcation of career oriented motives among the college students and also to spread awareness among them over range of issues, Jammu and Kashmir police here in Rajouri organised a meet at Governement Degree College Nowshera.

    A team of police headed by Additional SP Nowshera, Girdhari Lal Sharma alongwith SHO Pankaj Sharma presided over the meet in presence of college staff headed by Principal Surinder Sharma.

    The police officers discussed with students about career oriented approach and need to follow a hard-working path to achieve goals.

    They also discussed life history of various scholars, educationists and scientists of world repute nature and how they became successful by following path of hardwork.

    The police officers also discussed the menace like narcotics addiction, violation of traffic norms that are badly affecting lives.

    Students were also asked to act as ambassadors of peace and law in society and also make people aware about SOPs for COVID19 prevention.

    College Principal, Dr. Surinder Sharma said that words of police officers were of immense importance that will not only play role for awareness but will also bridge gap between men in uniform and students.

    Drabshalla Apr 03: –The Zonal Education Officer Drabshalla visited Mr Sewa Ram visit Kandni area and inspects various schools across the region including Government Middle School Chanderbani, Government Middle School Kandni of Zone Drabshalla.

    During the course inspection, ZEO holds interactive session with students in school and directed teachers of these schools to perform their legitimate duties with zeal and zest. He further stressed upon teachers to avoid all such practices and complaints that will force the higher authorities to take action against them.

    ZEO Drabshalla directed the Incharge Heads of these schools to utilizes the funds which were earlier allocated to them for adoptation of clour shade of Grey, White and other minor repairments and maintainence of the schools and to maitain all school record properly.

    Meanwhile deputation of people also met with the ZEO Drabshalla and put forth their various issues regarding Education Sector, ZEO Drabshalla gave patient hearing to the visiting deputation and assured them that all their genuine issues would be taken up with higher authorities for redressal.

    RAJOURI APRIL 03 :–Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Sheema Nabi Qasba (IPS) on Saturday joined an introductory meeting with prominent citizens at Sunderbani while Nowshera police holds awareness meet at government Degree College (GDC) at Nowshera.
    The meeting at Sunderbani was focused on an introduction among the participants & discussion on the social and legal issues facing the area.
    Participants highlighted the issues related to drug abuse and peddling, family disputes, creation of Women Cell, cruelty against animals, orgnisation of sports tournaments to engage the youth in positive activities, career counseling, and guidance in the area.
    Besides prominent citizens the meeting was attended by Rajinder Sharma, member DDC; Arun Sharma, Balkrishan Sharma, BDC Chairmen, Sunderbani & Siot respectively; members of Municipal Committee, Sarpanches of the area & retd officers etc.
    Participants also highlighted the rich culture of education and literacy in the area and reaffirmed their commitment towards betterment & development of the area.
    “The suggestions regarding youth engagement & counseling would be taken on priority while strict and fair enforcement of law would be for prevention & detection of the crime-related incidents” said SSP

    Mandi, April 03:–Poonch Premier League on the pattern of IPL,1st time in the history of J&K organised by Pervaiz Malik Afridi chairman Ehsas foundation Poonch with full zeal and enthusiasm concluded at Sports stadium Poonch.The final match of the tournament was played between Poonch Thunders and Poonch smashers in which Poonch Thunders won the title of ‘’PPL by defeating Poonch smashers with 2 runs. The tournament was started on 5 March wherein nearly 8 teams participated.Every team played 7 matches.The owner of the Winning team was Kuljeet Singh Thakur.Afridi said,The purpose of the tournament was to inculcate sportsmanship and camaraderie among the local youth and to channelize their energy in productive tasks.The stage sectary of the event was Vijay Kumar.
    DDC member Sohail Malik was the chief guest and ASP Khalid Amin was guest of honour during the closing ceremony.He also awarded both the winners and the runner-up teams with cash prizes of Rs 1 lakh fifty thousand to winner and Rs 1 lakh to runner-up teams respectively.Other special guests who were present in the closing ceremony, Dysp HQ.     Srinagar April 03:–Shri Amarnath ji Yatra Welfare society District president Ganderbal Ruheena shahzad issue a statement to condolenced the death of woman who was set on fire by in-laws at aakora Anantnag.

    While talking with Reporters Ruheena Shahzad said that these people are “morons and beasts” in human form who did not know the value of humanity. These people should be given strict punishment so that no sister or daughter faces such an cruelty in future. We should unite to defeat such evils in the society. We must stand together for justice.

    Ruheena Shahzad demanded LG JKUT and district administration for quick action and castigation against the culprits.

    She also prayed for rest in peace to the departed soul and give strength to the bereaved family to bear an irreparable loss.

    Srinagar, April 03: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party on Saturday inaugurated its district level office in Ganderbal wherein the ceremony was attended by various party leaders and district party workers.

    On the occasion, the Provincial President Kashmir Mohammad Ashraf Mir presided as the chief guest along with State Secretary and District President Budgam Muntazir Mohi-ud-din, Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi, Provincial Secretary Abdul Rasheed Haroon, District President Ganderbal Javid Mir, DDC Chairperson Srinagar Malik Aftab, Zone Coordinator Zadibal Showkat Mir, DDC Member Srinagar Shabir Reshi, Youth General Secretary Muzaffar Reshi and Party Leader Imran Bhat.

    He congratulated the District President Ganderbal and other district party leaders while impressing on them to work diligently for the welfare of the people of Ganderbal.

    “Now you have a responsibility to become the voice of people in this district and I am sure that Apni Party Ganderbal cadre will work tirelessly for the redressal of public greivances,” he impressed.

    District President Ganderbal Javid Mir thanked the party leadership and avowed to strengthen the party at grassroot levels.
