    RAJOURI MARCH 08:- On the occasion of International Women’s Day Prof. Akbar Masood, Vice- Chancellor has created Women Cell and also established an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) to redress the complaints received from women associated with Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU).


    “BGSBU administration is sincere about the safety of its women folk and any aggrieved woman can approach the cell/ICC members to get the grievances redressed. The proceedings shall be kept strictly confidential,” said Prof Akbar Masood, VC.


    In a message, Prof Masood said that every year international community observes International Women’s Day with an aim to promote peace with women’s rights.


    He said this year’s theme of International Women’s Day is ‘Choose to Challenge’. It aims to call our gender inequality and celebrate women’s achievements & seeks to spread awareness about the importance of choice.
    He added Aung San Suu Kyi (presently ousted Myanmar civilian leader) has said: “You should never let your fears prevent you from doing what you know is right.”.


    BGSBU celebrated International Women’s Day today.


    “This day marks the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women in different fields of life. Identifying, celebrating and increasing visibility of women’s achievements can help forge gender equality,” said Prof Akbar Masood, VC.
    While highlighting the role of women during Covid-19 pandemic, Prof. Akbar paid rich tributes to the women who stand at the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis, as health care workers, community organizers and as some of the most exemplary leaders in combating the pandemic.He congratulated the female employees and students of the University on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

On the occasion Sarpanchs ./ school lecturers /Anganwadi workers deliver Lecturs and gave awareness about the welfare of women’s /water conservation and Jal Jeevan Mission . Dr Zakir Hussain SDM was the Chief guest. The rally of girls started from ICDS office and culminated at Gazali Market Thannamandi.

    Mandi, March 08: –Commanding officer 5BN J&K NCC Mr Shrikant Rai visited GDC Mandi along with his staff.General training to NCC Cadet was given by the expert person Hawaldar Jasmeet Singh. After training session general lecture to all the students of the college was given by Shrikant Rai CO-NCC highlighting the benefits of joining NCC and its scope in future requirement in Govt Jobs.He also thanked to Prime Minister of India Mr Narinder Modi for granting extra seats of NCC Cadets to Border Areas due to which the NCC Unit could be opened in this newly established institution. Proceeding of the programe were conducted by Dr. Aurangzeb Anjum Associate Professor and Incharge NCC officer (ANO) of the college. Dr. Mohd Azam Principal of the college thanked the CO.NCC for his nice motivational lecture and training session.Dr.Abdul Razaq and other teaching and non teaching staff members were also present on the occasion.

    On the occasion, the Chairman Millat Alflah Trust Kishtwar ,Dr. Mohd Iqbal Malik said that the inmates of the above said Institution are doing well in both academic and religious studies besides excelling in sports as well . He said that we should encourage the inmates on their brilliant results.
    While congratulating the staff members of the Child Care Institution, Mr. Malik expressed that the staff members of the institution also deserve congratulations as their hard work has shown its result.


    Meanwhile, Dr. Malik said that we are very much thankful to District Child Protection Officer and Child Welfare Commitee Kishtwar for their guidance and support for running this Institution under JJ Act .

    راجوری// جموں کشمیر اپنی پارٹی کے یوم تحسیس کے موقعہ پر راجوری میں پارٹی ورکران سے خطاب کرتے ہوے پارٹی کے ضلع صدر ایڈوکیٹ سید منظور بخاری نے سابقہ ریاست کے روایتی سیاست دانوں کو تنقید کا نشانہ بناتے ہو ے کہا کہ خودغرض سیاست دانوں نے صرف نام نہاد کرسی کی خاطر معصوم عوام کو ہمیشہ ایسے خواب دکھاے جو کبھی بھی شرمندہ تعبیر نہ ہو سکے. جب ریاست جزوی خودمختار تھی تو ازادی کے خواب دکھاکر اقتدار حاصل کیا گیا . اور کرسی کے نشے میں خودمختاری کی سودے بازی ہوی. پھر ایک لمبے عرصے تک پری 1953 پھر بحالی خودمختاری , اٹانومی, سیلف رول کے کھوکھلے جھانسے دے کر کبھی نہ پورے ہونے والے خواب دکھائے گئے اور اقتدار پر براجمان ہونے کے بعد ریاست کے سارے اثاثوں کی سودا بازی کر دی. پھر ایک ایسا وقت آیا کہ ہمارا تخشص اور ریاستی سالمیت کے ساتھ ریاست کا وجود بھی ختم ہو گیا. بخاری نے مذید کہا کہ جب وفعہ 370 اور 35 اے کے ساتھ ریاست ٹوٹ جانے کے بعد عوامی نمایندگان قید وبند میں ڈال دیے گے اور عوام پر اظہار راے کی پابندیاں عائد کر دی گیں تو کوئی سیاسی لیڈر یا سیاسی جماعت ایسی نہ تھی جو لوگوں کے حقوق کی بات کرتی. اس وقت یہ وقت کی اہم ضرورت تھی کہ ایک ایسا فورم لیکر کوی سیاسی رہنما سامنے آتا جو ٹوٹی پوٹھی ریاست کی سالمیت, بحالی کے ساتھ عوام کے حقوق کی بات کرتا. اس مشکل ترین گھڑی میں سید محمد الطاف بخاری نے چند حقیقت پسند اور فرض شناس راہنماؤں کی مشاورت کے ساتھ 8 مارچ 2020کو جموں کشمیر اپنی پارٹی کی بنیاد رکھی اور ریاست کی بحالی کے ساتھ عوام کے دیگر جائیز حقوق کی جہدو جہد کا عزم کیا. بخاری نے کہا کہ جموں کشمیر اپنی پارٹی جھوٹ اور کبھی شرمندہ تعبیر نہ ہونے والے خوابوں کی تجارت ہر گز نہیں کریگی. اور ویسے بھی فریب اور جھوٹ کی سیاست نے پہلے ہی بہت بڑا نقصاں کر دیا ہے اور ایسے مکر و فریب کے ہتھکنڈوں سے عوام اکتا چکی ہے. پارٹی ریاستی سالمیت, عوامی تخشص, بحالی امن, زمین اور نوکریوں کے حقوق کی ضمانت کے ساتھ تمام جمہوری حقوق کی بحالی کیلیے جہدو جہد کریگی. پارٹی کے سینیر رہنما فضل چوہان نے اس موقعہ پر کارکنان سے خطاب کرتے ہوے ملک کی اعلیٰ لیڈر شپ سے اپیل کی کہ فوری طور پر ریاست کے درجے کو بحال کیا جاے اور ریاستی اسمبلی کے انتخاب کروائے جاییں. ریاستی اسمبلی ہی واحد ایک ایسا فورم ہے جو عوام کے سامنے جوابدہ ہے اور ساری انتظامیہ اراکین اسمبلی کے سامنے جوابدہ ہوتی ہے. عوامی حقوق کی بحالی اور افسر شاہی ختم کرنے کیلیے اسمبلی الیکشن بہر صورت ناگزیر ہیں. انہوں نے امید ظاہر کی کہ عوامی بے بسی اور حقوق تلفی کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے ملکی قیادت جلد اسمبلی انتخاب عمل میں لاییگی. بلاک صدر پیڑی چودھری میر حسیں نے اپنے خطاب میں کہا کہ جموں کشمیر اپنی پارٹی واحد ایسی سیاسی جماعت ہے جو ریاست کا کھویا ہوا وقار اور حقوق واپس لانے کی اہل ہے. اب صرف حقیقت پر مبنی راہنمای اور سیاست کی ضرورت ہے. نوجوانوں کی بات کرتے ہوے انہوں نے کہا کہ گزشتہ نصف صدی سے اس بدحال ریاست کا نوجوان دوہری چکی میں پس رہا ہے. انہوں نے اپنے قائد سید الطاف بخاری سے اپیل کی کہ مرکزی حکومت سے اس خطہ کےنوجوانوں کیلیے کوئی جامع روزگار کی پالیسی مرتب کروائی جائے جس سے کچھ راحت مل سکے. کارکناں سے خطاب کرنے والوں میں وجاید چودھری, ٹھاکربلونت سنگھ, شبیر چودھری, انور حسین , عارف راتھر, عرفان انجم , نواب مختار، ریاض گکھڑ، اعظم گکھڑ، امتیاز چوہدری، شفقت چوہان، الطاف چوہان، مختار انجم، اور کرم دین قابل ذکر ہیں.

    Rajouri.March 08 :–District President of Jammu and Apni Party, Adv. Syed Manzoor Bukhari criticized the traditional politicians of the erstwhile state and said that for the sake of so-called power, selfish politicians often show hollow dreams to innocent people that can never be interpreted.

    He said that when the state was partially autonomous, power was gained by dreams of independence and later in the intoxication of the chair, thay also made a deal of autonomy and even the sovereignty was bargained

    ” There was politics for a long time on pre-1953 position, then autonomy and self-rule became the center of politics..” Manzoor said adding that politicians showed the dreams that could never be fulfilled.

    After coming to power they bargained all the assets and special positions of the state, he accused further adding that because of dual politics and double standard of selfish politicians, such a day was witnessed when state’s our identity and integrity ceased to exist.

    He was addressing party workers at Rajouri on the occasion of Jammu Kashmir Apni Party’s commemoration day.

    Bukhari added that there was no political leader or political party which raised the voice of people’s rights when people’s representatives were imprisoned and restrictions on expression of opinion was imposed after the degradation of state and removal of Article 370 and 35A.

    ” At that time, there was an urgent need for a political leader to come forward with a forum that would talk about the integrity of the broken state and the rights of the people.” he said adding that in this most difficult hour, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, in consultation with a few realistic and dutiful leaders, founded Jammu Kashmir Apni party on March 8, 2020 and pledged to fight for the restoration of the state and other legitimate rights of the people.

    Bukhari said that Jammu Kashmir Apni party will never trade for lies and dreams that will never be embarrassed.

    Politics of deception and lies have already done great harm and the people are tired of such deceptive tactics, he added.

    The party will strive for the restoration of all democratic rights with the guarantee of state integrity, public identity, restoration of peace, land and jobs.

    Addressing the workers on the occasion, senior party leader Fazal Chauhan appealed to the country’s top leadership to immediately restore the status of the state and hold elections to the state assembly.

    The state assembly is the only forum that is accountable to the people and the entire administration is accountable to the members of the assembly, he said.

    Block President Peeri Chowdhry Mir Hussain in his address said that Jammu Kashmir Apni party is the only political party which is capable of restoring the lost dignity and rights of the state.

    All that is needed now is factual guidance and politics, he said.

    Speaking about the youth, he said that for the last half a century, the youth of this state have been going through a double grind.
    He appealed to party head Syed Altaf Bukhari that central government should formulate a comprehensive employment policy for the youth of the region which would provide some relief.

    Among those who addressed the workers were Wajaid Chowdhary, Thakur Balwant Singh, Shabir ahmed Chowdhary, Anwar Hussain, Arif Rather, Irfan Anjum, Nawab Mukhtar ahmed and Karam Din.

    •  Rajouri, March, 08: District Administration Rajouri on Monday celebrated the International Women day with the theme, “Choose the Challenge” & Women in leadership, achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world.” 
    • On the occasion, grand programmes were organised at Peer Panjal Next Gen Super School Dhangri (Himalayan Super School) & SVS College where Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan was the chief guest during the events.

    • The day is marked to honor all the women and their achievements regardless of the divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political.
    • A number of speakers spoke during the event and highlighted the significance of the day and discussed the ways as to how women can be made equal partners in the decision-making process especially with regard to policy making. The speakers also raised awareness about the importance of fresh water and talked about the ways how this precious gift of nature can be conserved.
    • The students also presented cultural item based on women empowerment which were highly appreciated by the audience present on the occasions and Kawali was also ptesented by a Studnet of Intetnational HSS Rajouri.
    • Women Welfare Officer, Dr. Anum Mirza while speaking on the occasion said that women are treading new paths to achieve socio-political and economic empowerment and we all should not only appreciate their endeavours but also help them in achieving equality in the real sense of the term. She also threw a detailed light on a number of women oriented schemes being launched by the Government from time to time and the women folk were motivated to avail the benefits of the same.
    • Nodal Officer BBBP, Bilal Rashid Mir in his address highlighted a number of steps being taken by the District Administration Rajouri for women empowerment and their upliftment in the society like plantation and swachata drives, distribution of sanitary kits among girls, Ration Kits etc to the poor girls during COVID19 to facilitate them in their online studies, stationery kits, sanitizers and masks amid COVID19 under BBBP, launch of pink vehicles exclusively for women and providing of Services through One Stop Centre for Women at the door step of Public and Presented detailed Power Point Presentation in this regard.
    • In his address, the Deputy Commissioner threw light on the importance and contribution of the women in the society and said that women are nowhere less than the boys in any manner and have shown their calibre in all the fields of life.
    • Deputy Commissioner said that women empowerment means making the women empowered physically, mentally, socially and economically so that they can take all important decisions of their lives and stand on their own. He said that the need of an hour is to just provide the women the opportunity and the environment to help them realise their potential so that they can contribute more and more in the development of the Nation. He also appealed the elder women Group, to treat the Daughter-in-laws as their own daughters, to avoid any domestic issues.
    • Deputy Commissioner also informed that the District Administration Rajouri is making persistent efforts to ensure the socio economic development of the women and necessary steps are being taken in this regard. He also said that  a number of schemes are being launched by the Government for the welfare of women folk and urged upon them to avail the benefits of the same.
    • Deputy Commissioner informed that the District Administration has decided to promote jute bags to avoid the usage of polythene and other single use plastic in the district and urged upon the women to constitute their self Help groups to manufacture the jute bags and other green alternatives to single use plastic to make the district clean and green.
    • Deputy Commissioner also said that, similar programmes on women Day and Jal Jeevan Mission are being organised all over the District at all Block Headquarters and at various Educational Institutions. He also emphasized on the Use of Water and its Conservation, so that Women may not suffer any more and each family may get  get “Har Ghar Nal Se Jal”. 
    • On the occasion, a book namely ‘Mehv e- Hairat’ was also released by the Deputy Commissioner written by Miss. Near Qureshi, Student of Himalayn Degree College Rajouri and presented a Shawl to her
    • Deputy Commissioner also distributed stationery kits, Swachata kits and shawls among the girls students under BBBP besides skill development kits were also distributed among them. DC also facilitated five women achievers who have shown their calibre in different fields by distributing awards of excellence among them in SVS College besides prizes were distributed among the girl students who spoke on the occasion.
    • Prominent among others, who spoke on the occasion were Mr. Mohd Muslim Wani & Retd. ADDC Subhash Sharma, Mrs. Krishna Principal Valley View Public School and remained Present Were Manzoor Malik, Nisar Hussain Rahi, Azam Shah, Bharat Bushan and others.
