    Srinagar, March 06:– A day after Enforcement Directorate(ED) summoned the PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti to its Delhi office in connection with a money laundering case, senior National Conference leader and sitting Member Parliament (MP) from North Kashmir, Mohammad Akbar Lone on Saturday lashed out at the probing agency ED saying that they have become a “toy” which is being played in the hands of ruling BJP Government.

    Akbar Lone while condemned the ED summon to former Chief Minister and PDP President, Mehbooba Mufti and said that these summons are just to defame the reputation of the senior leaders of the valley.

    Lone added that the senior leaders are being targeted for just outpouring their opinion.

    He said that those who are time and again talking about scrapping Article 370 should remember that it was the only affixture between India and Kashmir.

    Pertinently ED on Friday summoned the PDP chief to its New Delhi office on March 15 for questioning in connection with a money laundering case. Erstwhile the probing agency had also summoned former Chief Minister and sitting MP Dr Farooq Abdullah twice a few months back.

    Srinagar :A Preliminary Enquiry (PE) was registered on the basis of a complaint received from the GAD J&K, Jammu to look into the allegations of J&K Cooperative Housing Corporation (JKCHC) which was registered in the year 1982 by the then Registrar of J&K Cooperative Societies to provide housing facilities to the public had defaulted in repayment of loan amount amounting to Rs. 40.63 crore raised from HUDCO. J&K Govt. was the Guarantor and 70 % of the capital was owned by the Govt.

    1. The complaint further revealed as on 26.07.2017, an amount of Rs. 90 crores including interest was outstanding against the Corporation. HUDCO had further blacklisted the Govt. till liquidation of the outstanding loan and no further loan facilities were granted by HUDCO for execution of various projects in J&K. The enquiry further revealed that JKCHC availed around 27 loan facilities from HUDCO w.e.f 1991 to 2001 for acquisition and development of lands for constructing housing colonies in J&K. The prominent colonies are Kud Housing Colony, Davik Housing, Kalu Chak , Swarn Vihar, Tawi Vihar Housing Colony, Swarn Vihar, Peer Bagh Housing Colony etc. JKCHCL defaulted in payment in the loan and as on 31.11.2020 an amount of Rs. 10,06,06,80,678/-(Rs 1006 crore approximately) is outstanding for repayment to HUDCO.
    2. The enquiry has also revealed that the Chairman, Managing Directors and other officials who were at the helm affairs in JKCHCL had diverted and misappropriated the loan amounts to the tune of Rs. 23.12 crores for various other purposes. It indicated that the Management of JKCHCL in conspiracy with each other and other unknown officials had deliberately defaulted in the repayment of the loans due to which the accounts became NPA and the outstanding amount created. The enquiry has revealed that there has been illegal modification in the norms and bye laws of JKCHCL and encroachment upon Govt. land and community land for development of housing schemes which were later sold off for a profit. Even the OTS amount arrived at with the intervention of the Govt. was not repaid by the JKCHCL. Subsequently an FIR was registered on the basis of the omissions and commissions disclosed during enquiry on the part of the then Chairman, MD Brij Bhushan Sharma and other officials of the Management of the JKCHCL and unknown officials of the Govt. u/s 5(1)(c), 5(1)(d) read with sections 5(2) of JK PC Act Svt 2006 and Ss. 409, 120-B RPC.
    3. Searches were conducted after obtaining warrants from the Hon’ble Court at the residential premises of the then MD Brij Bhushan Sharma of JKCHCL, Office Premises of JKCHCL and Office premises of JK Housing & Tourism Society/ Corporation being operated by Brij Bhushan Sharma. Incriminating documents and articles have been recovered in the searches conducted.
    4. Further investigation of the case is going on.

    POONCH, MARCH 06: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Rahul Yadav on Saturday chaired a meeting with the concerned officers and the Community Service Centre operators to review the progress of registration of the beneficiaries under the SEHAT scheme in the district.

    The meeting was attended by Medical Superintendent, Dr. Mushtaq Husaain; BMO Mandi, Dr. Nusrat Bhatti; BMO Mendhar, Dr. Parviaz; BMO Surankote, Dr. Zulfkar; District Manager CSC, Imtiaz Ahmed and other officers were present in the meeting.

    The DC asked the CSCs to put in dedicated efforts to ensure the cent-per cent registration under the SEHAT scheme so that people can avail the benefits of the same. He also asked for completing the whole exercise in one month.

    The meeting decided to set up additional registration centres to facilitate the public and achieve the targets.

    The DC observed that the public is not coming out for registration because of the lack of awareness and directed the field officers to generate mass awareness about the benefits of the schemes.

    The Deputy Commissioner also directed the CSC authorities to submit progress on a daily basis.

    Rajouri March 06 :–Congress leader from Peerpanjal region ,Imran Khan today came out in support of Ghulam Nabi Azad former CM and LOP in Rajya sabha , soon after a handful number of insignificant leaders spoke against Azad.
    In his detailed statement Khan said that over the past half a century the region has had known and appreciated Sh Ghulam Nabi Azad who not only remained the Icon of the erstwhile state of jammu and kashmir but to the entire country.
    Declaring Azad as the Man of Crisis Imran khan said that Ghulam Nabi Azad pulled congress party out of the challenging times and helped it reach the seat of governance.

    Whenever the ship of congress sank, Azad pulled it out like a Messiha and steered it out of the murky waters” said Imran.


    Refering to the vast majority of congress floowers in pirpanjal region, khan said that the rwgiin knows and follows only Azad sahib.
    There is none else whom this war battered region knows in congress

    Imran said that people of the region admire Azad sahib for his abilities, commitment, secular dealings and blotless career as a politician over a long half a century of politiking.

    Azad sahib is a secular leader whom everyone trusts irrespective of caste, creed, colour, region and religion. He is above all bias and narrow vision when it comes to humanity as a family. This is what makes him a leader od universal approach and class.


    Commenting on the issue of Prime Minister’s mention in Azad’s speech that was ill taken by some workers at petty level in the party, Khan said, ” Azad sahib’s comments are a reference to the prime minister . If something good has happened it must be appreciated . what harm is there in it?. It has nothing to do with the ideology that Azad sahib follows. “


    “I have seen that BJP MLC from Rajouri fulfilled a long pending demand of the people in a muslim majority area. People hailed him but when the time came to choose ideologies people prefered the secularists”.

    Khan suggested the party workers , who for their personal identification and growth , cried themselves hoarse, not to resort to such actions as they were no match to the politician of Azad sahib’s stature .

    On party functioning Imran said that there is no leader who is acceptable to the people of jammu and kashmir except Azad sahib. ” We dont know anyone else except Azad Sahib. The entire region is with him wherever he be”.
    He further suggested to the party cadre to follow the moral ethics and don’t behave like a street fighter

    SHOPIAN MARCH 06: -The Development Commissioner of Shopian Sachin Kumar Vaishya today directed the health officials to issue SEHAT cards under Aayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya (AB PMJAY) SEHAT scheme to all registered beneficiaries and also ensure cent percent registration of left out on BIS Portal.

    He said this while speaking in a meeting convened to review the implementation of Aayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya (AB PMJAY) SEHAT scheme here today. SDM Zainapora, Tehsildars, Chief Medical Officer, Block Medical Officers and MS DH Shopian attended the meeting.

    On the outset CMO gave out that out of a target of 199716 souls (as per SECC, 2011) inclusions, 114000 have been registered on the BIS portal whereas 85716 are yet to be registered. He added that the process of uploading 1 Lakh souls under fresh inclusion is also taken up simultaneously as and when cases are received from village level and block committee. He informed that 100 CSCs are involved in the process and 30 more will be operationalised in next 3 days.

    The meeting discussed in detail the modalities for speeding up the registration for SEHAT scheme. The SDM, Tehsildars and BMOs were directed to review the progress of the scheme in their respective blocks and also ensure that there is no overcharging for registration. Regarding issue of shortage of operators, the DDC said that 6 new operators will be provided to expedite the registration process.

    The CMO was directed to submit the registration report under SEHAT scheme on daily basis besides ensuring functioning of 100 CSC centres in the district. The DDC directed health and Revenue departments to start IEC activities on mission mode by roping in other departments for creating mass awareness in the district for speeding up registration.

    Rajouri, March, 06: To review the progress achieved regarding the formation and promotion of the farmers producer organizations and One District One Product scheme, the District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan on Saturday convened a meeting with the concerned members of the District Level Monitoring Committee here in his office chamber.

    The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, Mohammad Khurshid; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Mohd Ashraf; General Manager DIC, Manzoor Hussain; DDM NABARD, Kanav Sharma; Chief Agriculture Officer, Mahesh Verma; Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, Madan Lal; Deputy Registrar Cooperative society, Antar Singh; Lead District Manager JK Bank, Jyoti Prakash and experts from Krishi Vigyan Kendra.

    An FPO is a registered group of the farm community which promotes best practices of farming, maintains a marketing information system, diversifying and raising levels of knowledge and skills in agricultural production and post-harvest processing that adds value to products.

    Chief Agriculture Officer informed the meeting that two FPOs comprising of 150 farmers each have been constituted in the district including one for Vegetables and the other for maize.DDC directed the CAO to ensure that the recently constituted FPOs perform their functions effectively for the betterment of the farm community in the district and also asked him take the assistance of the Lokmitra for monitoring purpose.

    DDC while speaking during the meeting said that since Rajouri has been identified as a dairy district under OPOP scheme, therefore concrete measures sholud be taken for the promotion of the milk and milk products including Ghee, Paneer, Khoya etc in the district.

    DDC said that the schemes ODOP are meant to enhance the production of local products in the district and asked the concerned authorities to take all possible measures to make the district an export hub in the identified products.

    DDC asked the Deputy Registrar Cooperative society to constitute Self Help groups comprising of females only for marketing purpose of the identified products in the district.

    Chief Animal Husbandry Officer has been directed to take concrete messures for enhancing the production of the milk and milk products in the district besides he has also been directed to submit the necessary action plan in this regard.

    DDC also asked the CAHO to aware the masses about different loans provided by the Banks and other sponsering agencies for the purchase of the milch animals.

    Rajouri, March, 06 :-The district administration Rajouri here has provided immediate financial aid to a poor family who suffered loss of domesticated animals in an incident of fire blaze one day ago.

    Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan said that on 05 March, an incident of fire breakout took place in Sarol area in Rajouri and cattle shed of Ram Pal Sharma son of Sita Ram gutted with two buffaloes and one cow got charred alive.

    Deputy Commissioner informed that we have approved an immediate financial aid of rupees One lac Ninety Seven Thousand and Eight Hundred only under SDRF to the victim family.

    He informed that financial aid has been approved as per SOPs after a loss report submitted by a team headed by Tehsildar concerned
