Efforts to clear developmental bottlenecks continues in Rajouri Construction of two vital road projects thrown open today

Rajouri, February, 22:– The District Administration Rajouri, yet in another move threw open the construction work of two vital roads projects after clearing the major bottlenecks. The road projects where bottlenecks have been removed are Workshop Bridge to Ghambir Bharmana and Circular Road near Hamilton Bridge.

The teams of District Administration headed the Tehsildar Rajouri, Mohd Rafiq along with SHO Sameer Jalani visited the spots and cleared all the Bottlenecks. The complete exercise was supervised by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri ,Sher Singh and under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri ,Rajesh Kumar Shavan.

Tehsildar Rajouri informed that these two roads had been struck for so many years due to some minor issues, like alignment of the road and compensation in lieu of the fruit bearing plants.

He further informed that both these roads are being executed by the PWD Department.

With the construction of the Workshop Bridge to Ghambir Bharmana road more than 2000 souls would be benefited while the circular road was sanctioned with the sole purpose to reduce the traffic congestion in the town.

” The construction agencies face various constraints during different stages of construction of the roads and these constraints often lead to delays in construction and completion becomes tardy and in some instances construction activity is almost a non-starter,” the Deputy Commissioner said.

WORK SWING INTOB THE NEW ROAD

He also said, these constraints not only lead to time overruns but also huge cost escalations. We cannot afford to ignore the fact that timely completion of these roads is something where compromise may have an adverse effect on the lives of the rural populace.

The Deputy Commissioner appealed the public to shun these minor self interest over large community benefits and do not create impediments on the way of Development.
