    DC Rajouri visits Lam at Nowshera Resolves long pending 2880 kanals land issue of Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department

    Firm cemented pillars to be erected around the site

    Rajouri,January,27: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri,Rajesh K Shavan on Wednesday paid a visit to Lam area of Nowshera to resolve the long pending land issue of Animal Husbandry Department there.

    Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by the Senior Superintendent of Police,Chandan Kohli,Director Animal Husbandry Department,Vivek Sharma,Additional Deputy Commissioner Nowshera,Sukhdev Singh Sambyal and Tehsildar Qila Darhal,Vijay Kumar Sharma.Besides the field functionaries of the concerned department were also present on the occasion.

    It is pertinent to mention here that about 2880 kanals of the land of Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department where the farms of these two departments are located was illegally encroached by the people and more land was suspected to be encroached in near future.The matter came to notice of the Deputy Commissioner few days ago and taking cognizance of the seriousness of the matter,DC himself along with a team of the officers paid a visit to the site.

    Deputy Commissioner passed on spot directions to the revenue officer to carry out the demarcation of the land in presence of the officers and officials of the Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department.The concerned officer from Public Works Department has been directed to erect firm cemented pillars around the demarcated site for the protection of the land.

    Deputy Commissioner asked the concerned officers and officials of the Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department to keep a close liaison with the Additional Deputy Commissioner Nowshera during the demarcation of the land.

    To avoid any untoward situation during the demarcation process,the Senior Superintendent of Police has been asked to ensure adequate security arrangements at the site.

    Deputy Commissioner also asked for ensuring the monitoring of the progress regarding the construction of the firm cemented pillars on a daily basis to ensure the time bound completion of the work.

    Srinagar, (KNO): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday said that the Statehood will be given back to Jammu and Kashmir soon, adding that the report about the delimitation process should be submitted at earliest.

    Pertinently, BJP observed 72nd Republic Day in Srinagar today where party’s General Secretary (Organization), Ashok Koul hoisted the tri-color.

    According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Koul told media persons here that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have on the floor of the house promised that Statehood to J&K will be given back. “We believe that our leaders will fulfill the promises. We believe that the Statehood will be restored soon,” he said.

    He added all the political parties as well as the people have the right to speak about their sentiments and demands & meet any top leader, adding that former minister and Apni Party president Syed Altaf Bukhari too has met the PM to express his views and raise his demands.

    Koul also said that the situation has improved and will improve further in J&K.

    Asked about the delimitation process, Koul said that the government has already constituted a delimitation commission and State Election Commission (SEC) in this regard. “I believe the work has been started already and they should submit the report in this regard at earliest,” he said.

    Speaking on the occasion, Koul said that India is a Republic country and believes in democracy. “Today, Indians across the globe especially in India are celebrating the day. On this occasion, I congratulate people especially Kashmiris on this day and pray for the prosperity and peace for Kashmir,” he said.

    He said the deadly pandemic seems at the verge of culmination as less than 100 cases are now surfacing in J&K. “I wish the peace will once again return Kashmir,” he said—(KNO)
