    Poonch, 19 october:Syed Nusrat Shah has greeted people on the commencement of the Rabi ul Awal.

    Extending his warm greetings to the entire Muslim Ummah on the arrival of Islamic month Rabi-ul -Awal, in which beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) biggest benefactor and savior of the humanity was born, he urged people to follow the footsteps of great prophet (SAW) and to make it the way of living.

    In his message syed Nusrat shah said, “The Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) life is a continuous source of inspiration for the mankind. His detractors also referred to him as “the Truthful” (Al Sadiq) and “the Faithful.”

    New Delhi: A major controversy has erupted after Twitter India showed Jammu and Kashmir as part of Peoples Republic of China in the timelines.

    The matter was raised Kanchan Gupta, Distinguished Fellow, Observer Research Foundation (ORF) after tweets showed J&K as a part of China.

    “So @Twitter has decided to reconfigure geography and declare Jammu & Kashmir as part of People’s Republic of #China . If this is not a violation of #India laws, what is? Citizens of India have been punished for far less. But US Big Tech is above the law?”, Gupta wrote tagging Telecom and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.

    Several netizens also asked Prasad and the government to take action against Twitter India.

    “No @Twitter this is not a freak happenstance,” Gupta said in another tweet.

    “@Twitter @TwitterIndia so according to you Leh is a part of People’s Republic of China,” said a netizen.

    “Kindly look into this and take action appropriately. It’s high time that these social media giants be held accountable for their stupidity,” a netizen said asking Prasad to action.

    “Please take cognizance of this serious matter and take necessary action against @TwitterIndia. They cannot take Indian sovereignty for granted. Don’t let them normalize this misadventure,” another another Twitterati. (IANS)

    :—The Sarpanch and his relative have been booked for issuing fake revenue extracts in favour of few beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin (PMAY-G) in Khawas tehsil in Rajouri district.
    Both have been booked under relevant sections at Teryath police post on the application moved by Tehsildar, Khawas.
    Syed Sahil Ali, KAS, Tehsildar Khawas when contacted has confirmed the episode.
    He said, “On Panchyat member’s complaint, the preliminary departmental investigation was conducted and two such fake revenue extract were found issued by the duo using forge signature and stamp of the concerned Patwari”.
    Ghulam Sarwar, concerned Halqa Patwari after investigation informed Tehsildar that both the revenue extract were not issued by him and the accused have forged his signature & stamp.
    The police have been asked to lodge FIR against the duo and investigate the matter
    . In-charge Teryath police post has confirmed registration of FIR against the accused.
    Mohd Azam and Mohd Mushtaq both residents of Phera village approached the Tehsidar with written complaint that Sarpanch Kalu Khan of Udhan Panchyat and Mohd Shrief of village Phera have issued fake revenue extracts and demanded an investigation.
    The land shown in fake revenue extracts in favor of Kala, Ghulam Qadir, Abdul Qaoom, Khan Mohd sons of Lal Din of village Udhan in Khasra No.45 to get benefits under PMAY (G) actually belongs to Badri & others as per official revenue records.
    In the second fake revenue extract the entry in owner’s column doesn’t match with the original (area mentioned is wrong) revenue extract due to technical irregularities.
    “We have also approached the Rural Development Department officials to provide list of PMAY-G beneficiaries from Udhan Panchayat to detect more such fake revenue extract, if any issued by the duo” said Tehsildar.

    October 18, :– A French teacher who had recently shown students cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) was beheaded outside his school on Friday, in what President Emmanuel Macron called an “Islamist terrorist attack”.

    The assailant, whose identity has not been established, was shot by police as they tried to arrest him and later died of his injuries, police said.

    French police have arrested nine people after a suspected Islamist sympathiser beheaded a school teacher on the street of a Paris suburb on Friday, police sources said.

    Witnesses said that attackers shouted “Allahu Akbar” or “God is Greatest”, when attacked on him.

    The attack happened on the outskirts of Paris at around 5:00 p.m. near the middle school where the teacher worked in Conflans Saint-Honorine, a northwestern suburb around 30 kilometres from the centre of the French capital

    Srinagar, October 19 :The Enforcement Directorate on Monday questioned former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Farooq Abdullah in connection with a money laundering probe in a case related to the alleged embezzlement of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association funds, officials said.

    They said the National Conference president’s statement will be recorded under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) as in the past.

    The ED case is based on an FIR filed by the CBI, which booked former JKCA office-bearers, including general secretary Mohammed Saleem Khan and former treasurer Ahsan Ahmad Mirza.

    The CBI later filed a chargesheet against Abdullah, Khan, Mirza as well as Mir Manzoor Gazanffer Ali, Bashir Ahmad Misgar and Gulzar Ahmad Beigh (former accountant of JKCA) for the “misappropriation of JKCA funds amounting to Rs 43.69 crore” from grants given by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to promote the sport in the state between 2002-11.

    The ED said its probe found that JKCA received Rs 94.06 crore from BCCI in three different bank accounts during financial years 2005 2006 to 2011 2012 (up to December 2011).

    Abdullah’s son Omar Abdullah tweeted that the National Conference would be responding to the ED summons shortly.

    “This is nothing less then political vendetta coming days after the formation of the People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration. To set the record straight no raids are being conducted at Dr Sahib’s residence,” he tweeted.(PTI)
