UT administration will be accountable for rise in Covid-19 cases: Rahul Dev

Reasi, September 21:–All J&K Youth Federation (AJKYF), Incharge District Reasi, Rahul Dev Singh express concern over safety of school going children during the rise of covid-19 positive cases in the entire UT while administration decided to open Schools in Jammu Region.

While showing concern over the administration decision, Rahul Dev Singh said that administration order for opening school will result into complete disaster across the Union Territory as administration never take studies of school going students as their priority, even the administration failed to restore 4G internet facilities in the peaceful region of Jammu which has already affect the student badly and now opening of school for physical appearance shows the acute failure of digital education on behalf of Central Government and UT administration.

Rahul Dev further said that on one hand India is repeating mistake made by USA which is one forth of India’s population and has resulted into lakhs of Covid-19 positive cases from school going children and on the other hand Schools in Jammu Region are taking consent from the students where students are asked to undertake the responsibility in case of untoward incident like covid-19 infection.

While expressing concern over the increased loss of lives during the past few days due to covid and expressing solidarity with the families of the victims, District Reasi Incharge said that there are shocking reports of lack of adequate Medicare facilities in government hospitals and if USA’s mistake of opening of school is repeated by the administration, it will be difficult for the administration to provide medical assistance to the affected ones and hold UT administration accountable for rise in Covid-19 cases.

AJKYF, District Incharge, Rahul Dev Singh urged upon the administration to review their order of opening school in wake of rapid increase of Covid-19 positive cases in the region and demanded restoration of 4G internet facilities for education purpose across UT.
