ARTO Moazzam Ali (KAS) took this initiative in twin districts of Shopian and Pulwama. Isn’t this initiative worth replicating in all districts of UT for bringing more transparency in system?

    JKAP organises first public meet in Gool to discuss public issues

    Reasi, Aug 25: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) leaders and workers today organised its first public meeting in Gool area of Reasi district to discuss public issues.
    The meeting was organised to express faith in the leadership of JKAP President Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari and Former Minister Aijaz Ahmed Khan in which the issues of public concern were discussed.
    In a statement to the press, the meeting was organised by the JKAP leaders and workers in Gool area people from adjoining areas projected their demands for their early redressal.
    During the meeting, the people complained that the building of Degree College, Gool, KGVP school building and establishment of Stadium are incomplete and the Sub District Hospital is suffering because of shortage of staff.
    The locals were concerned over the lack of basic amenities like proper road connectivity, poor supply of clean drinking water, mobile connectivity and shabby condition of tourist spots like Dagantop and Ramakunda.
    They alleged that the government should macadamize the roads for better connectivity, provide clean drinking water. The JKAP leaders have appealed that the pump for water supply in the area has been sanctioned but it is yet to be installed. The JKAP leaders said that the online studies have suffered badly in the district because of poor internet connectivity and on the other, many people do not have mobile phones with internet access.
    Prominent among those who were present on the occasion include Chairman Thuroo Makhna Ch, Chairman Sangaldan Naveeda Parveen, Altaf Hussain Tragwal, Ghulam Nabi Wani, Fyaz Ahmed Khakmath, Gulzar Shan, Rahem shan khadim wani and others.

    Jammu, August, 25:– All J&K Youth Federation (AJKYF) express strong concern over the decision of Jammu and Kashmir government for scrapping of Self Help Groups (SHGs) and ending their quota for tendering process.

    All J&K Youth Federation, Incharge Jammu Province, Ch. Sanjay Singh Sandhu slammed the UT Administration for abolishing the SHG (Self Help Groups), their work quota which has badly affected thousands of qualified engineers and diploma holders involved in the construction work. He termed the abolition of SHGs as arbitrary and a decision taken without considering the ground reality of number of unemployed engineers who are searching for job opportunity poorly. More than 15000 thousand engineers, their staff working in their offices involved in the construction work in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh are now jobless due such erroneous decision of government as the people of Jammu and Kashmir have already suffered enormously by many arbitrary decisions of the administration from past six years and governement has suddenly ended the reserved quota putting the engineers in a state of shock.

    AJKYF urged upon the UT administration to revoke the decision forthwith and take effective measures to create more employment avenue for other unemployed youth to ensure that the current economic crisis confronting youth and people of J&K at large were addressed rather than pushing them to wall.

    BUNJWAH August 25:–For smooth functioning of Government and private Sector in Bunjwah , a Joint United Front was framed in a meeting held by prominent citizens of Bunjwah at Tehsil Headqarter Nali Bunjwah, in which dozens of senior / prominent and youth of Bunjwah participated. The aim of holding and forming of Joint United Front was to raise the developmental issues of Bunjwah and Functioning of all Tehsil and Block level Sectoral Offices at Bunjwah
    After framing of Joint United front , it was disscussed that some miscrients and self styled persons for their personal gain are playing politics on each and every pattern that creates great loss and inconvinence among general public. The JUF will carry the development based vision forward and takes up the issues with higher concerned authorties for early redressal and welfare of the society.
    There was need of hour to take developmental issues with authorties as the elected representatives have failed in raising such issues meant for welfare of poor and downtrodden masses , who had became victims of such dirty politics. The JUF is Non Political / Non Government Organisation / Front who stoods up for cause of poor masses in Bunjwah.
    The senior / prominent citizens and youths of Bunjwah unamounsily puts faith and elects Mr. Mohd Iqbal Keen as Chairman and Mr. Mohd Sabir Batakh as Vice Chairman of Joint United Front Bunjwah. The responsibility of Executive members was given to each and every region of Block Bunjwah as Abid Hussain Malik from Binoon, Abdul Kabir Keen from Jawalapur, Khursheed Ahmed Wani from Nali, Molana Manir Hussain from Kither, Vinod Kumar from Mori, Baber Hussain Pathan from Kewa.
    The Joint United Front members tooks oath to work with honestly and dedication for welfare of Bunjwah.

    MENDHAR All the contractual employees working under MG-NREGA today appealed the Lieutenant Governor, to address their long pending demands of regularisation in Rural Development Department (RDD).
    “There are many posts lying vacant in the department and they should be adjusted against these posts as they have been working in the department for the last 12-14 years,” said Sheriaz Ahmed President MGNREGA Employees Association Mendhar
    He further said that the highly educated youth have been working under MGNREGA with full dedication for years on a meagre honorarium which was not enough to support their families

    Appealed to administration for compensation of buffaloes to the nomad’s family

    Reasi, Aug 24: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP), senior leader and ex-MLA Gulabgarh, Haji Mumtaz Ahmed Khan has expressed grief over the tragic death of a nomad and his eight buffalos in a landslide in Gulabgarh assembly constituency.

    One Wali Mohamed, son of Ghulab Din who was grazing his buffaloes in Tulli area at Dhabbar Dhok area between Tulli and Dhakikote in Reasi lost his life due to landslide. His eight buffaloes also got crushed to death in this incident

    In a statement to the press, Haji Mumtaz Ahmed Khan expressed his sympathy with the bereaved family members and prayed for the peace of the departed soul.

    Khan appealed the administration to give compensation to the next of the kin. He further appealed for compensation of buffaloes so that victim’s family will not pushed into poverty as their only property is their cattles.
