    Poonch: Ch Saqib Ghani Jagal, Deputy SP is conferred with Police Medal for Gallantry by President of India on the eve of Independence Day, 2020. This medal is given to those officers of the police organisation who contributed gallantly in anti Militancy Operations in Jammu & Kashmir. The medal is a recognition of his relentless and selfless contributions in anti-militancy Operations in valley. During his tenure as Deputy SP Operations Bandipura and as SDPO Sumbal Bandipura Saqib Ghani participated in number of successful anti militancy Operation in which many dreaded Pak trained terrorists were eleminated. This medal is specifically awarded to Officer for his gallant act in an Operation at Bandipora .People of his home town Mendhar congratulated him on the receipt of this prestigious medal and honour as recognition of gallant act.

    Poonch // Jammu and Kashmir Awami Development Front Chairman Muhammad Farid Malik in a statement issued to the press expressed his grief and shock over the death of Kotranka Dhar Sakri workers and demanded from the government that three youths whose shoplifters Encountered in Amshipura. His family claims that he was our liver and was innocent. Poverty-stricken, They went to the valley to work as a laborer, where the army killed under the guise of fighters. Malik said, “I am very sorry that one of the children who went to the valley in this enchanting and corona era to earn a living was shot. He said that one of them is a 16-year-old 12th class student.” and was so poor that he had no capital to buy a school book for himself and was forced to work as a laborer, while another 25-year-old Abrar Ahmed who left his little fifteen-month-old innocent at home just because He had built a house and was in debt. He left home to pay off his debts. “I will work as a laborer and pay off my house loan, but the Eden Army has brutally confronted the youth, which is unbearable and unfortunate and a disgrace to democracy,” said Mohammad Farid Malik. “We never thought so.” He said that the Indian Army was not going to kill our youth in this manner.

    Mohammad Fareed Malik demanded from the government that a judicial inquiry be held into the whole matter He said that the Indian Army should be with the people. It should have been a matter of good morals, especially for the youth. The army should have treated the youth sympathetically, but such encounters with the innocent are not in the interest of democracy and not in favor of the lieutenant governor’s administration. The country is for betterment, he said, adding that a judicial inquiry should be held and the culprits should be put behind bars.

    Reasi Sharmati August 15 :-Idependence Day celebrated at Sub Division Dharmari with great enthusiasm. On this occasion,the National Flag was hoisted by Ch. Makhna Chairperson BDC Thuroo. Sushil Kesar (KAS) SDM Dharmari, Dr. Satish Bhardwaj (JKPS SDPO Arnas and others were also present..The whole function was organized following the SOP’s/Guidelines of COVID-19.Sub Divisional Magistrate Dharmari appreciated various officers/officials who were at the front line of the COVID-19 outbreak response and awarded them with certificates of Appreciation for their dedication and sincerity towards their duties .

    Rajouri,August,15:To felicitate the Corona Warriors for their outstanding work in the management of COVID19 in the district and officers from the district administration and police for their meritorious services,the Municipal Council Rajouri on the eve of the 74th Independence day organised a felicitation ceremony here in the Town Hall Rajouri.

    Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri,Sher Singh was the chief guest on the occasion.

    The President MC Rajouri Mohammed Arif presented momentos to the Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri,Additional SP Rajouri,Liyaqat Chowdhary,District Panchayat Officer,Dr.Abdul Khabir,Tehsildar Rajouri,Mohd Rafeeq,DySP(Hqr) Surinder khodyar to honour them for their meritorious services while BDC Chairpersons Rajouri,Darbar Chowdhary and BDC Chairpeson Manjakote,Shamshad Begum were also provided the momentos for ensuring the proper monitoring of the developmental works in the areas of their respective jurisdiction and to contain the spread of COVID19 in their areas by generating among the masses about the CoronaVirus infection.

    Besides Vice President MC Rajouri,Bharat Bushan Vaid, Councillor Pushpinder Gupta,Councillor Sameen Javed and Mamta Dutt,Religious leaders including Pandit Jagan Nath,Ranjeet Singh,Molana Farooq were also facilitated with momentos by the MC Chairman and chief guest sh Thakur Shaer Sing.

    The sanitation inspectors and four Safai Karamcharis of the MC Rajouri were also felicitated for ensuring proper  sanitation and cleanliness in the town amid COVID19.
