    Jammu May, 20:- All J&K Youth Federation (AJKYF) hold video conferencing among its members on the burning issue of recently introduced domicile law which is evolving unrest among the youth during covid-19 global pandemic.

    AJKYF resolves that recently introduced domicile law and issuance of domicile certificate are addition to the anti-youth policies being made by the government from last 5 years which eventually started evolving unrest among the youth of J&K.

    AJKYF unanimously rejects the introduction of domicile certificate which is absolute victimization and harassment to the state subject holders, now people have to again stand in long queues for grant of certificate, which will also put burden on the government officials and during this global pandemic where the whole world is quarantined, J&K people have to stand in queues for issuance of such certificate which may make a rise in corona cases in the downgraded state which is already at peaks.

    AJKYF demands consideration of state subject as a valid document for being the residence of Jammu and Kashmir and also demands 100% job reservation for the state subject holders.

    Prominent among those who joined the video conferencing were Nakul Sharma and Haroon Rashid, Spokespersons, Ch. Sanjay Singh Sandhu, Incharge Jammu Province, Er. Gourav Salotra, Chief IT Cell, Rahul Dev Singh, In charge District Reasi, Sahil Jamwal, Incharge District Jammu Rural, Adv. Romaan Manhas, Executive Member (Poonch), Thakur Mandeep Singh, Secretary Incharge District Reasi, Abheet Salmotra, Secretary Incharge Jammu Urban, Sidhant Chib, Secretary Incharge, Jammu Rural and others.

    While making people aware about the various aspects of Coronavirus, BDC appealed people to maintain social distance, stay home and communicate the message that they are not alone during this tough time.

    He also asked them to strictly adhere to the lockdown and basic hygiene to check the spread of the virus. He urged them to wear a mask even at home and wash hands on regular intervals.

    Poonch May 21:- The Anti Terrorism Day was on Thursday observed with professional spirit by Jammu and Kashmir police across Poonch district.

    In District Police Lines Poonch, a main pledge ceremony was held which was headed by Senior Superintendent of Police Poonch Ramesh Angral with Deputy SP including Manish Sharma, Sheezan Bhat, Azeem Qureshi and other officers and officials attended it.

    Pledge against terrorism was taken during this event.

    Senior Superintendent of Police Poonch Ramesh Angral, in his interaction with all the police personnel, said that terrorism is the biggest enemy of country and some anti national forces are trying to fuel terrorism in the country to fulfill their evil designs.

    He further said that police is one of the instrumental force against the terrorism and is fighting it on forefront.

    Meanwhile, Anti Terrorism Day was observed in all police posts and police stations of the district wherein pre-written pledge was taken.

    All the events were held taking due care of preventive measures for Corona virus.

    Rajouri May 21 :- On the occasion of Anti Terrorism Day, Police in Rajouri district held respective events at all the Police establishments including District Police Office Rajouri, District Police Lines, Police stations and Police posts in Rajouri.

    At all the Police establishments, pledge was taken against the terrorism with Police personnel from all ranks took part in it and incharges of police establishments recited the pledge which was repeated by all the participating officials.

    Senior Superintendent of Police Rajouri Chandan Kohli in his statement said that terrorism is one of the biggest challenge for the nation. A concerted effort is required by everyone to deal with terrorism.

    He said that public too has a role in elimination of terrorism by keeping their eyes and ears open against the person who are involved in terrorist acts.

    All the preventive measures including use of face masks and social distancing were properly followed.

    Mandi(Poonch) May 21 :-Imam-O-Khateeb Markazi Jamia Masjid Mandi Molana Sayed Mohd Amin Shah Gillani on Thursday extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the eve of Jumat-ul-Vida and Eid-ul-Fitr with a hope that these occasions will be marked with harmony, reconciliation and an end to distressing situation caused by the spread of COVID-19.

    Molana Amin shah Gillani said “I take this opportunity to extend my warmest greeting to the people on the eve of Jumat-ul-Vida. This day is unique in assuring the blessings of Allah Almighty in abundance. I appeal the people to pray for everlasting peace to the state of Jammu and Kashmir and an end to the sufferings caused by the deadly Coronavirus,” he observed.

    He said that Jumat-ul-Vida is indeed a highly significant day endowed with a great spiritual importance and he prays to almighty Allah to accept the penance and fasting of people and bestow his choicest blessings on the whole humanity.

    Molana Amin shah Gillani said that “Eid also embeds the message of taking care of the needy and making them part of the happiness by extending economic support to them,” he said and expressed the hope that Eid would bring peace, prosperity and well-being to the State and the people all over the world.

    While extending warm greetings to the people on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr, He said the spirit behind the observance of this Eid, which marks the end of month-long fasting, is to express thanks to Almighty Allah for giving courage to his believers to observe fast and rededicate themselves to truthfulness, sincerity, self-control, and patience.
